Chapter 13 - Exordium In The Grand Pavilion

Upon catching sight of the enigmatic man, The Five Admirals were taken aback, their countenances betraying shock and surprise.

"Considering his seemingly eternal youth and unmatched prowess, it is plausible that his Cultivation transcends even that of the Nascent Soul stage…" mused Admiral Zhang, lost in deep contemplation.

"The magnitude of his presence is beyond comprehension… Could he possibly rival the Emperor in power? Preposterous!" exclaimed Vice Admiral Zhao, unable to contain his astonishment as the words slipped from his lips.

Lieutenant Commander Lin Feng's countenance bore a grave expression, exuding caution as he remarked, "He appears remarkably youthful. There can only be one explanation as to why he still refers to himself as old." He arrived at his conclusion.

The others also bore a similar wary expression, cautious in the face of the unknown. It wasn't surprising to come to a similar understanding in this case.

Luo Yin watched with a serious countenance, saying nothing in the face of the unknown.

The situation before them was wholly unexpected, leaving them with scarce options in the presence of the enigmatic man.

All they could do was watch and wait, grappling with the uncertainty of the circumstances.

The sense of surprise wasn't confined to The commanding officers alone; every member of the crew was taken aback by the enigmatic man's extraordinary display of power.

"Could he be nearly on par with the Emperor himself in terms of strength?"

"No! He's even stronger than the Emperor!"

"Be careful with your words! You must not speak disrespectfully of the Emperor!"

The commotion among the crew continued for sometime and showed no signs of abating, with opinions voiced in hushed tones and raised voices alike.

However, Vice Admiral Wu swiftly intervened, commanding "Silence!"

A brief moment of commotion ensued, but was quickly quelled by the authoritative voice of Vice Admiral Wu, restoring order among the crew.

The tense atmosphere hung palpably in the air, as everyone awaited further instructions from their commanding officer.

The unfamiliar man remained suspended in mid-air, gazing silently at the imposing fleet of starships before him.

He couldn't help but marvel at the sheer magnitude of destructive weaponry that had been manufactured by these people.

"They have surely developed weapons of mass destruction at an unprecedented scale," he mused, before finally speaking up.

"As I mentioned earlier, there are matters that require our discussion," he addressed the Admirals, his tone measured and composed.

Not too long after, the Admirals were escorted to the grand pavilion, which stood majestically amidst the serenity of a picturesque lake enveloped in a veil of mist.

The mist hung ethereally over the still waters of the lake and all across the region, adding an air of mystique to the surroundings.

The tranquil scene was further enhanced by the gentle ripples that danced on the surface of the water, as if paying homage to the solemnity of the moment.

As the Admirals stepped into the pavilion, they were greeted by a sight that left them awe-struck.

The interior was adorned with exquisite artwork, from intricately woven tapestries to hand-painted murals depicting unfamiliar scenes of ancient battles and realms.

The furnishings were opulent, with seating arrangements and elegant tea sets arranged meticulously on ornate tables.

The pavilion exuded an air of elegance, its beauty matching the gravity of the situation at hand.

The ambiance of it was one of refined elegance, befitting the significance of the discussions that were to take place.

The Admirals couldn't help but be impressed by the attention to detail and the aura of grandeur that surrounded them, setting the stage for a momentous exchange with the unknown man.

Inside the grand pavilion, a distinguished assembly of 14 Admirals from both the Imperial Fleets and the Alliance Fleets had gathered, seated in a circular arrangement around a large table.

The unknown man took his seat with poise and addressed the gathering, "So, shall we get started?"

The Admirals exchanged glances, their faces reflecting a mix of confusion and uncertainty, but they nodded in agreement, acknowledging this unprecedented meeting.

Those hailing from the Empire and the Alliance were adversaries, and in normal circumstances, they might have seized this opportunity to target each other.

But the current situation gave them no chance to act hostile.

They couldn't shake off the sense of urgency that hung in the air, but remained composed, ready to see how the proceedings would unfold.

The atmosphere in the pavilion was filled with anticipation, as the Admirals braced themselves for what was to come, aware of the momentousness of the situation and the potential implications for their respective fleets.

The unknown man, exuding an air of mystery and authority, continued to speak, his words carrying weight and significance.

"Let's begin by introducing ourselves. I am Li Mingze, and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," he said, courteously cupping his hands in greeting.

For a moment, they exchanged glances with each other.

"Exchanging glances won't take us anywhere, you all should know very well that being suspicious alone is not going to suffice." It was Luo Yin.

The Admirals, exchanging their glances once more, nodded in agreement.

However, there were a few who gazed at Luo Yin with an unmistakable expression of deep-seated animosity as he spoke up, their disdain seemingly more fervent towards him compared to his fellow Admirals from the Empire.

"I am Luo Yin, and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," said Luo Yin, his voice steady and confident, he didn't seem to mind them.

Following his lead, each Admiral introduced themselves in turn, with distinct names and expressions.

"I am Mu Kongdong, pleased to make your acquaintance."

"I am Zhang Yu, honored to make your acquaintance."

"I am Jia Lin, it's a pleasure to meet you all."

"I am Zhao Fengge, delighted to make your acquaintance."

"I am Jun Haoran, it's a pleasure to be here."

"I am Wu Jinhai, pleased to make your acquaintance."

Just like that, one after another, everyone continued to introduce themselves.
