Leo's Residence
Mrs Leo was seated in the sitting room waiting for her baby girl although her husband tried reasoning with her, stating the obvious fact that Serena is no longer a kid and might end up partying all night till the next day, but she still insisted on waiting for her.
'My dear, it's really late, you should come join me in bed, Mr Leo who just came down the stairs said. It's okay honey, I'll just wait a little while, I'm sure that she would soon be back, she said. But....., he said but was cut short seeing his wife rushing outside and he followed her.
Outside, Mr and Mrs Leo stood watching the unfamiliar car parked in front of them and the door opened revealing Jaden, who stepped down from the car and went to open the other door for Serena who was unconscious.
'Hey babe, you're home, he whispered into her ear and pecked her lightly on the lips. The unconscious Serena moved a little in her sleep and opened her sleepy eyes starring intently at Jaden, who helped her out of his car and then her eyes landed on her parents.
'Mummy, daddy hug, she said as she walked up to them in unsteady steps assisted by Jaden after which she threw herself at them.
I'll take my leave now, he said to both parents. 'Alright, thank you very much for bringing her back home, but when did you arrive at the party, Mrs Leo asked.
'Are you more concerned about that or taking my wife in to have some rest, he said coldly and left without waiting for them to reply.
'See, I told you that everything would be okay, he even brought her home, Mrs Leo said. You're right, I'm sure that they already got to know each other very well, for him to bring her back home, he said and Mrs Leo grinned.
They both helped the drunk Serena up to her room and tucked her in bed before leaving her to their bedroom.
I never knew you were this intelligent dear wifey, you're such a genius. 'Oh please, would you stop praising me, she said shyly. 'You know that look of yours, makes me want to have another baby with you, he said and she blushed real hard. 'Oh honey, you're always so sweet, she said and spread out her hands and he happily carried her to the bed.
Next Morning
Serena woke up with a slight headache and checked the alarm clock, close to her bed and saw that it was already late.
She rushed to brush her teeth and wash her face hurriedly then went downstairs to meet her mom and dad who were almost done having breakfast.
She greeted them and they both returned her greeting with a smile. C'mon dear sit and have something to fill your stomach, I'm sure you must be very hungry, Mrs Leo said gesturing for Serena to have a seat.
Mom, how did I get home last night, cause I can't seem to remember anything, she said as she sat down to have her breakfast. ''Isn't it obvious, you came home by yourself, it's not like you have a boyfriend who would have brought you home, Mrs Leo said. 'Oh is that so, I just thought someone brought me home, she said and continued eating while her parents glanced at each other afraid that she might remember.
