The group prodded and asked max about where and how he had gotten such a treasure but after he only told them he found it hidden in his room they stopped pestering him seeing that he wasn't going to tell them anything of value.
After eating they all washed their hands and observed the book along side Van. He opened the book allowing them to read and touch the first page of the book in order to experience the same vision he has of the calm man standing amidst the calamities of heaven and earth.
The group was in awe of this phenomenon, receiving such a clear and perfect vision of something outside of their imagination as if it actually occurred somewhere throughout the passage of time.
He then turned it to the second page where it explained who should learn earth combat and heaven combat giving the group a clearer idea of why Van had told them to read from front to back or back to front.
They didn't really understand how the order mattered but they knew after following the instructions understanding would come with experience.
Max then allowed everyone to touch the second page which he himself had yet to touch so they could all experience whatever this page had to offer.
After touching the second page, all of their minds were transported to a space where they could see each other floating high in the sky. They could see two man below them about to engage in battle one man stood atop a cloud while the other stood on flowing magma from the volcano in the distance. Both warriors were dressed like martial artist as their close were loose fitting and almost resembled their modern day track suits.
The man on the cloud was the first to move, they could all see how graceful his movements were as it could be seen where his steps impacted the air as if he was moving across water.
Seeing this the man standing on the magma took a sturdy stance with his left arm up near his face and his other arm bent at a 90 degree angle near his waist while bending his front leg and cocking his back leg out and back some making him look extremely imposing.
Quickly they clashed and rather than it being cataclysmic the man that moved from the air simply used his finger jabbing towards the other man's forehead while the man atop the magma used the hand in front of his face to deflect the finger attack to the side of his head. The attack kicked up wind causing a light tempest to rise. Making some of the magma solidify and the other magma fly into the air starting fires in the surrounding greenery.
Once the man from the clouds attack was deflected he continued his momentum by launching into a knee attack meaning to deal a blow to the other man's torso.
The other man rather than attempting to block or dodge tightened his muscles allowing the attack to hit while also grabbing ahold of the man from the cloud and bending backward in order to flip him on his head with his added momentum.
While bending and flipping the man onto his head he felt a sharp pain in his ribs and collapsed mid suplex before he could successfully slam his opponent. His grasp loosened and the man from the clouds slipped free landing in the air causing ripples to flow out as if he were standing on air.
He escaped but he didn't escape injury free as the sheer force the man grabbed him with caused broom to trickle out of his mouth and eyes as if he could have imploded from the pressure of the man's strength.
However the other man was in an equally pained state as a hold could be seen in his martial arts uniform and through there was a visible dent in the man's rib cage.
After this the vision ended and they all were back to the physical world with wide eyes and fallen jaws.
