"What the hell man! You didn't have to destroy the wall to wake me up I'm sure if you just said my name I would have gotten up I'm the lightest sleeper I know!" Todd said with his face and voice as serious as you'd hear any person in existence.
Hearing this the group looked at him with deadpan expressions. "Yes, you're right my bad man we'll have the house keepers to take care of it, we're gonna be training late if we take too long so get ready and hurry to the dining hall." Van said deciding he wasn't in the mood nor did he have the energy to be arguing with an idiot at this moment.
After saying that the group cleared out from in front of the door and headed to the dining hall to start eating.
They sat at the table and were soon joined by Erika and Todd also arrived not to shortly after.
"Good god man, I know we mostly stood in one spot like yoga and breathed but god I feel worse than after a workout that I did with the sports teams back home" Todd said while awkwardly walking into the dining hall.
"Nice of you to join us, but yea that was pretty intense. I haven't been this sore ever in my life I wonder where this combat guide came from." James said while shaking Todd's hand and giving him a smack on the back.
"Ahhye what was that for!?" Tod screamed out in pain as that was one of the places he was extremely sore. He hunched over as he groaned in pain.
"Stop being a baby we got another day to get gains in front of us." James said while giving Todd another hearty pat on the back.
Todd continued to groan while trying to shuffle away from James so he could feed his pained body. Finally escaping the hellfire slap of James he sat down and began filling his plate with anything he could reach.
The group ate and chatted while mentally preparing for the training session to come. They decided they would wait until the beginning of the third week to start on the next page so their body could get used to this new kind of training.
The way the combat method worked for both heaven and earth was it trained and a it exercised the smallest muscle fibers that weren't even used by most athletes. The fighting forms were like working every active muscle possible while also working the muscles that were during times of relaxation. It was an odd feeling for all of the group to feel under so much stress while also feeling a sense of relaxation from performing the fighting forms.
After eating they all headed to the training hall to do their training for the day, they all followed their normal routine with Van doing his own meditation rather than entering the tubes like everyone else.
Like this the week passed the second and third days got even worse as their soreness rose to a new height but after that they could feel their soreness slowly starting to lighten up after they all followed Elise's advice of stretching before laying down to sleep.
Van made significant progress in becoming one with his home planet he was now able to feel the pulsating aether energy of the black hole that seemed as if it was spinning so rapidly that it was like the force drawing everything in, including him somehow if he lost host concentration he would feel as if his being was somehow being consumed by it.
At times it almost sounded like another voice was trying to speak in his head that wasn't his or Nora's, but it was so faint that he couldn't determine whether it was real or not so he continued to meditate on the idea of being one with the planet as the sensation became clearer.
