"It's totally fine Van I'm only taking notes so I can assist you better you can continue" the Therapist lady further continued.
Eventually with a look of apprehension van opened up and began to explain further, "So like I said I have these spells where I black out after I hear a voice but sometimes during those spells I get weird visions some are peaceful and others are absolutely atrocious."
"I don't know what it is but the state required the orphanage to have you check on me once they heard about my spells and the Madam said you'd be able to help me."
The doctor looked at Van with a concerned look, "I'd have a better idea if you can tell me what happened in some of those visions."
"We'll my memory is a bit vague of the visions, but in one of them there was a kid like 6 years old standing in the middle of what looked like an old village and everything was on fire you could see mangled bodies thrown around the roads while nearly every building or hut they had was destroyed, and the kid was crying that's all I really remember"
The doctor had a thoughtful look as she processed the informations and began to formulate what was happening on her note sheet. "After hearing what you're going through it's pretty rare especially in this day and age."
"What I think you're suffering from is schizophrenia or ptsd, usually children your age don't suffer from these type of things unless they've experienced some traumatic events. And with todays technology it's not something hard to treat so don't be down we'll get you some help."
After this the doctor began to type on her computer while asking about vans allergies, his lifestyle at the orphanage, and his friends.
Once she noted these things down she began to write up a prescription of mass produced pharmaceutical medicine approved by big brother.
Big Brother was the organization that became the top of the pyramid 15,000 years ago once the war ended. Big brother had the final say in the core information, entertainment and technology released to the public of all worlds through the universe. They wouldn't let planets accelerate in growth faster than their maturity rate so that the people of the planets could truly flourish and experience technological growth with their growing wisdom without becoming a danger to themselves.
Van was actually living on a level 52 planet called Cyrus, planets were all leveled but no one was sure what the level cap was on the planets as they ranged from newly formed planets with new life at level 0 all the way to the upper echelon of planets that were rumored to be beyond level 500 where people were said to be able to fly without the aid of tools or machines, there was even a myth of a place beyond level 10,000 within the entire cosmos.
After recieving the prescription pills from the doctor, she sent him off and once he'd left her office she pulled out her cell phone and began to dial someone.
"Hello Prima Delta, yea he's a phase walker it seems but we won't know unless we either move him from that orphanage or send him there."
"Which there are you talking about Vixen he's too weak he'll just get lost in there he's not strong enough and he hasn't even awakened his talent yet."
Prima Delta replied it was the raspy voice or an aged male.
Vixen had an amused look on her face as she said "I wouldn't be hasty with such words, I sent him off with a gift"
The old man on the other side of the line paused as he thought about what he was just told. "Very well, continue to report to me as we further assess the situation."
After that the Prima Delta person hung up the line as he sat back in his office in thought.
Vixen had also got up and took off her white coat revealing a gorgeous black dress with slits on each side perfectly reveling her curvaceous figure and smooth caramel skin. She replaced her white coat with a more luxurious grey fur coat that went to her knees while also donning a large sun hat changing her glasses to shades and switching from flat shoes to a pair of silver heels that revealed her perfectly painted black toes.
Van had made it back to the living room where other kids his age from the orphanage hung out. He had stored the pills in his pocket after taking one once he walked out of the office.
He thought since these were supposed to help he should take one immediately just to see if it made him feel different.
Surprisingly after taking it he didn't feel anything right away however after he'd made it to where the other kids were the same voice that came and went reappeared in his head.
"I have a clean connection, establishing upload. The host should find a secluded place within the next 15 minutes." A human like voice sounded in his mind
"Wha…what the hell. Who are you what do you mean upload. Just leave me alone!" Van began to shout as everyone looked at him oddly because he was yelling towards a wall.
"I advise the host to refrain from making a scene, I also advise the host to find a secluded location as the host only has 14 minutes" the human like voice again sounded within his mind.
Van began to look around a saw the weird looks the other kids were giving him. After feeling awkward for a moment Van ran off in the direction of a secluded spot he knew of in the library, behind a bookshelf there was a cavity within a wall that was large enough to almost be called a secret chamber.
After about 5 minutes he entered the secluded location and said in a low voice, "now tell me who you are you're messing with my chances of getting adopted or getting in a decent school no one wants a defective kid."
"I am," the humanlike voice sounded. The voice had a soft sound like that of a kind hearted woman.
"That doesn't tell me shit why do I gotta hide what are you doing to me" Van snapped at the voice trying to hurry up before this countdown ended.
"I am not doing anything to you, you ingested a pill that was for awakening and it finally established a strong enough connection between the host and the source. The source is awakening the host bloodline and giving the host 3 blessings."
"This is a painful process that could cause the host to be unable to move for a day or two afterwards. Plus I'm sure the host would like to avoid crying in front of everyone right now."
Van had a confused and slightly agitated look on his face because he couldn't help but think someone was trying to play a trick on him.
However as soon as he thought about this the pain struck throughout his entire body like a bolt of lightning and he let out a yelp before remembering he was hiding in the library as he quickly removed his shirt and bit down on it.
