Chris eventually sat down with Dania, Dania's dad, and Darren, who were currently conversing amiably and having coffee. Olivia would be shocked if she knew how Chris smiled at Dania today.
"Oh my goodness, what does my daughter do that well?" Dania's father was delighted to hear Chris's remarks about his daughter, but Dania was a little taken aback by them; in truth, she believed that what she had to accomplish was just another day at work.
"Dania has only been working for a few months, so I wasn't expecting the CEO to pay so much attention to the staff at the reception area."
Darren sipped his coffee while looking at Chris. The man seemed at ease and comfortable, but Dania, who was aware of Darren's true nature, sensed something more in him.
"Hmm, I also have no idea why I acted in the way that I did."
Everyone gasped in amazement at Chris' response, especially Dania. She was unable to understand what Chris was about to say. Then Dania's dad began to laugh, which lightened the atmosphere and made them turn to look at each other's talk.
Despite the fact that Darren is also present, Dania feels safe because Chris is there. Dania had the impression that someone was keeping an eye on her, despite Chris's lack of promises and comprehension of the situation. As a result, she wasn't comfortable enough to tell Chris everything. However, Dania finds that this experience is nice on its own.
When they parted ways, Dania's heart felt a strange melancholy, well maybe perhaps because she knew she would soon be in danger.
Dania's father was already in the car when Darren rang her shoulders and beckoned for her to follow him. Dania had been turning to gaze at Chris often, obviously asking for help, and Darren had to be wary of this. Although men had approached Dania on countless occasions, they had always retreated on their own when they discovered that Darren had much to be proud of in order to prevent anyone from meddling with her and Dania's relationship. Chris, however, is an exception because Darren is not Chris' rival.
Dania might turn him away for other reasons, even though he is aware that she is not a girl who is easily enticed by a man's wealth. Darren would not permit that to happen.
Darren clenched his hands into fists as he attempted to say goodbye to Chris in a pleasant manner, but his tough jaw could see right through him and he loved to play pranks on Darren, as he did when he spoke so much about Dania.
"I appreciate you caring for Dania, but I hope you recognize when you've reached your limit."
"Yeah, I know." Chris didn't appear to be the least bit afraid; he even casually glanced at Darren while he was giving him a harsh stare. Darren's eyes quivered as he managed his emotions to keep from exploding.
Dania's father rolled down the window as Darren was ready to drive away and waved at Chris. Chris waved back and grinned as well, which surprised no one. Chris noticed that the corners of his lips were still smiling after Dania and her father had left. Chris had never grinned so broadly or with such sincerity before, even when he had. Additionally, Chris swiftly lowered his hand before anyone noticed what he was doing since he knew that this time was different from past occasions.
The valley attendant gave Chris the key to his car when it was ready. Chris dashed into the eatery and out again. Chris, though, carried on consciously and irrationally remembering what he had just done as if it hadn't been him.
Chris was given a gracious welcome into his luxurious home and entered after giving the maid in front of him the key. In addition to taking off his suit and handing it to the other maids who followed Chris, Chris' hand also untied the tie, which was still securely knotted.
Chris abruptly halted, his hands encircling his waist as he stopped and turned to face the stairs going to the second floor. Chris exhaled loudly at that point. The attendant who was right behind Chris felt a little shocked when Chris eventually went upstairs and continued to act as before, but she was unable to ask Chris any questions.
Her father opened the door before Dania could get to her room. Darren then engaged the two of them in conversation while holding Dania outdoors for some time. This time, just Dania experienced the strain, and although though it wasn't particularly powerful, Dania's worry also reappeared.
"Do you know that guy?"
Darren had Dania leaning against the wall, and he had her within reach, his hand outstretched to stop her from going.
"My boss."
Because she believed it was not important to discuss Chris with Darren and because she was not as close to her boss as she is today, Dania never told him about Chris.
"Boss? Hah!! Why does a boss want to be so close to his employee?"
Darren looked emotional. He really didn't like it when someone who belonged to him got disturbed.
"Darren, stop please! I'm tired."
Dania begged the man not to bother her today when her father was around. "My dad is also here."
Darren may still be able to debate Dania, but he is unable to refute the second. He took his hand from the wall and put it in his pocket. She cocked her head, inviting Dania inside. But Darren didn't seem to be finished either; he once again changed his mind and grabbed Dania's arm, squeezing the young woman's arm more tightly since Darren knew Dania wouldn't be able to scream.
"Don't make your dad worry," Darren muttered, leaning in close to Dania. "You know me, don't you?" Dania felt his hot breath touch the back of her ear.
Dania couldn't help but be scared of the man, so she nodded swiftly, bit her lip hard, and clenched her hand. Darren enjoyed the reserved expression on Dania's face as she spoke to him.
Darren gave Dania a kiss on the forehead while grinning. "Good job, girl!"
Dania frantically entered the space and moved swiftly in the direction of the restroom until her father puzzledly turned to face her.
"Dania has been delaying using the restroom since just now; she may not be as strong as she once was."
Darren shook his head with a smile and explained what had happened. When Dania's dad appeared concerned and turned to gaze in the direction where his missing daughter had entered the toilet.
Darren made a promise to return the following day and take Dania's dad to the train station.
Dania turned on the water tap while she was still in the bathroom so her dad wouldn't hear her cry. Her hands continued to wash her face after Darren had kissed it in the most disgusting manner imaginable.
Dania's dad was lying next to her, yet the night still felt empty. Dania kept thinking about how to get away from Darren while keeping her father safe while he slept, but she was unable to come up with any ideas. No matter what she did, it felt like nothing would work. Even her most smitten thoughts could not convince her that she had made the best decision. Dania might need to accept her destiny, dying slowly at the hands of the man.
At a private golf course, thunderous applause erupted from the audience. The lights were brightly lit from each side of the course, making the scene there clearly visible, including how two bloodied men were being forced to stand up, one of whom was holding a golf stick, and the other was forced to open his mouth as a hole to insert the ball.
A third man, standing not far from them and carrying the same golf stick with the bloody tip, commanded, "Hit the right one!"
Due to the tense and horrible atmosphere, even the two men who were the targets of the man's fury shed dreadful tears, and their apologies and prostrations had no effect either.
"I didn't come here to listen to you!" the man casually exclaimed. "You even forced me to play golf while wearing these outfits." The man held out his suit to show the two helpless men how sharp it was.
"Mr. Chris... Mister... I admitted guilt. I humbly ask for your pardon this time, please!" In an effort to get Chris to return, the man set down the golf stick he was holding.
"You're not also pleading for that man's mercy, are you?" Chris stared at the man, who was bleeding profusely from his head and forehead but was still opening his mouth.
The man kneeling in front of Chris turned to his companion, who also appeared sad, right away. "Yes, yes, sir, please pardon us both."
Chris said sarcastically, "You want to be forgiven after disclosing company secrets?"
"You ought to be aware that this action of yours has a danger that you must pay!"
"Please have mercy on us, sir. Pleeeaasseeeeee!!"
Even though his voice was nearly gone, the man's sobbing continued despite the fact that it was preferable than having to die at the hands of his boss.
The other man was forced to watch his destiny in silence, but he lost a tooth as a result of the round object being hit repeatedly until loud applause made his anguish more bearable.
"What did you do wrong that I needed to forgive you for?"
Though Chris doesn't care whether the man confesses or not because Chris is more aware of the truth, the man nonetheless acknowledges his mistake even though it means confessing his wrongdoing to Chris.
Chris was incensed to learn that one of the firm's files, whose content affected the project they had been working on in recent years and contained company data, had been stolen. Chris hasn't yet lost anything, but that's because Chris' confidantes stopped the two leakers when they were about to provide all of their data to a rival company, not because they were aware that they were doing it.
"Do you desire to be given a chance?"
The bloodied man immediately stopped crying when he heard the word "chance," and he promptly nodded. As long as he can survive, he will do whatever Chris asks of him.
Chris spun around and glared at the two, even stomping his feet. When the man forcefully gripped Chris's leg and begged him not to leave.
"Saying goodbye!" Before continuing fully, Chris halted his steps and cocked his head slightly.
Unceremoniously taking off his clothes, the man left blood stains on his white shirt that disgusted Chris. Knowing that the same blood stains had also appeared on his face, Chris washed his face in the sink.
Chris dislikes playing violent games, especially against women, but cheating is an exception because both parties are aware of the dangers involved when they are seduced by the allure of that substantial sum of money.
"Did we simply vanish them, Sir?"
"You are to look for a new finance manager!"
