Quick gasps came out of Drax's mouth as he tried to get home before curfew. It was already 9:49 pm and Drax only had eleven minutes to make it home before he would get grounded. Jumping over a trash can that was in the middle of the dark alley that Drax was currently using as a shortcut to get home, he quickly started to sprint. Turning left after leaving the alley, Drax had finally made it to the highway and could now see his house located right across from him. Looking both ways before crossing, Drax started to run across the highway before finally making it to his house.
Looking at his watch which now said 10:15 pm Drax quickly rushed to the front door with the fear of getting grounded and slowly opened it. Looking through the door that was slightly opened, Drax looked around for any sign of his mother being awake. Further, opening up the door, he silently walked into the house before quietly shutting it. Letting out a sigh of relief at not getting caught, Drax was about to turn around whenever the living room light suddenly came on. Slowly turning around, he could see his mother with her arms crossed, wearing an angry expression on her face.
Slowly turning back around, his hand started to reach for the doorknob as Drax got ready to bolt out the door. Suddenly, a hand grabbed his shoulder with an impossibly strong grip before Drax's mother's angry voice traveled into his ears.
"Where do you think you're going?" Trying his hardest to get away, Drax struggled with all his might before trying to jump towards the door.
Feeling something grab his foot while in midair, Drax could only cry silent tears as he landed on the ground. Hearing his mother's scary chuckle enter his ears a shiver went down Drax's back before he started being dragged further inside his house. Knowing the long lecture that was to come, despair filled Drax's eyes as the hope of escaping was all but gone…
Holding his hand over his head where there was now a large bump, Drax looked at his mother who was looking at him angrily. "What did I tell you about being out that late?" Drax's mother yelled at him.
"B-but''
"No buts" Drax's mother interrupted her son. "This is your last warning, next time you WILL be grounded."
Looking his mother in the eye, Drax took a moment before saying,
"Yes mam, I'm sorry."
"Good," Drax's mother said.
Drax's mother had been lecturing for 2 whole hours, and it was now 12:36 Am. Although some people would think that this would be an overreaction, it was actually pretty reasonable given the situation. Drax's mother and Drax lived in a place where the common occurrence was finding a rat in the can of food that you had just bought and a knife waiting to be stuck in your back as a person runs away with your cash..... plus the can with the rat in it.
It's a wonder why Drax's mother hasn't barricaded the house just to keep him safe. "Now go to your room, it's already past the curfew, and you should have been in bed four hours ago."
Looking at his mother, Drax apologized one more time before going up to his room and laying down. Giving out a long sigh of relief, Drax was glad to finally be away from his mother's lecture. However, that relief quickly went away as Drax remembered that his first day of school was tomorrow. Knowing that he could do nothing about it, Drax closed his eyes as he went off into the land of dreams.....
Hearing his alarm ring, Drax's eyes opened up as his hand moved over to the desk. Eventually, throwing the alarm clock against the wall after missing it several times, Drax got up to get ready for school. Going into the bathroom, Drax took a quick wiz before going over to the mirror. Looking over himself, Drax had to admit that he appreciated being born with above average looks. With his slightly chiseled chin and lean face that could make any girl fall in love with him, Drax was definitely very appealing to the eye.
Drax had a very slim body with about average-sized muscles. And thanks to helping his mother move heavy things nearly every day while afterwards doing multiple push-ups and many other exercises, Drax was pretty much all muscle and had a well toned six pack to prove it. Plus, to top it all off, you can't forget the ocean blue hair that Drax was strangely born with. Normally, you would see people with black or blond hair and the occasional red or orange hair. But not Drax, nope, he was born with honest-to-goodness actual blue hair that shimmered like an ocean blue wave when in the light.
That was his favorite part about his hair. Unfortunately, it made him the prime target for bullies. Letting out a sigh, Drax reached over and opened the bathroom cabinet before getting his toothbrush and toothpaste and shutting the cabinet door. Drizzling some toothpaste onto his toothbrush, Drax quickly started to brush his teeth before finishing and putting the supplies away. After finishing up, Drax went back into his room before putting on a nice pair of black slacks and a black T-shirt. Slipping on a pair of Nike shoes, Drax grabbed his backpack before heading out of the house. Unfortunately, the bus doesn't even come near Drax's house, and thanks to not having a car, running was his only option.
Thankfully, the school was only one and a half miles away and usually took only ten to fifteen minutes for him to get there. Quickly running down the side of the highway, Drax started heading toward school. However, about five minutes into his run, Drax completely stopped in his tracks as something caught his eye. Looking in the middle of the highway, his heart immediately melted as the cutest little creature that Drax had ever seen entered into his line of sight. Walking in the middle of the highway while falling over its feet multiple times was a cute baby fox with bright red fur.
Quickly taking out his phone, Drax was about to take a short video whenever the sound of a car coming made him look to my left. Seeing a large diesel, Drax's heart jumped in fright as the path that its tires were headed was right in line with the fox. Making a split decision, Drax threw his backpack down on the ground to not be weighted down before running full speed towards the baby fox. The driver seeing Drax honked multiple times as he jammed down on his brakes. The diesel curved from side to side as it rapidly lost momentum while trying to avoid Drax. Having no time to grab the fox, Drax folded his leg before kicking the fox out the way. Seeing the fox land on a soft patch of grass off the highway, Drax sighed in relief before the front of the diesel hit him and he was sent flying. (Hope I didn't break any of the foxes' bones whenever I kicked it.) This was Drax's last thought before everything went black.
Drax's eyes slowly opened up to a large white room. Sitting up, Drax started to look around as confusion clearly showed across his face. As the memories of what happened started to reaper inside of Drax's mind he started to wonder where exactly he was. Feeling something on his knee, Drax looked down to find that same fox pup that he had saved, laying flat on its belly as its big eyes stared at him. Opening its mouth Drax was expecting some kind of animal noise but what came out of its mouth completely surprised him.
"Good, you're finally awake." Yelling in surprise before quickly slapping the fox across the room, Drax backed up as far as he could away from the fox before his back hit the wall of the white room that he was currently in. Getting back up on all of its paws, the fox turned towards Drax as it used one of its paws to rub its cheek.
"That was a little mean, don't you think?" the little fox said as it looked at Drax with a bit of anger. "Is this how humans treat goddesses nowadays? because if so, then I can just let you reincarnate naturally like everybody else, and you can start a new life without your current memories."
"G-goddess" Drax stuttered out.
"Yes goddess, who do you think brought you here human, it wasn't some run-of-the-mill moron." looking at the fox confused, Drax decided that someone had to be playing a trick on him. There was no way that this cute little creature could be a goddess.
"Prove it," Drax said.
"Huh?" the little fox asked. "I said prove it, prove that you're a goddess." Drax responded. The fox looked at Drax for a moment before shrugging her shoulders and saying, "okay." Suddenly, white mist covered the foxes before expanding in both shape and size. Eventually, forming into the shape of a human, the mist disappeared as the most beautiful woman Drax had ever seen stood In front of his eyes.
The woman had an hourglass figure with long slim legs. Long red hair ran just below her shoulders as her beautiful blue eyes shined more beautifully than any star and could easily captivate the most hard-headed of men. And her casually large bust size only added to her naturally beautiful flare. But, what really made her the most beautiful woman Drax had ever seen was that on top of her head stood two fox ears, oh, and we can't forget the nine fox tails trailing behind her. All this combined made her a woman any man would die for. And she wasn't even wearing any makeup.
Swallowing his drool, the goddess smiled at Drax as she spoke. "Well then, now that I am in my human form, it is time I introduced myself. My name is Violet, and I am the goddess of reincarnation and collector of all things cute and cuddly. A pleasure to make your acquaintance."
