It just did not make any sense for someone like Scarlett to do something like that since she had a pure image.
She just hoped that Scarlett would not suspect her right now. This was the only net available to her.
Suddenly, the door opened and someone walked in.
It was Scarlett!
For a second, the two women froze on the spot looking at each other.
Sonia was only a tying a towel around her waist. It wasn't difficult to tell what has happened.
Scarlett had the key to Ryan's house so sje could enter as she pleased.
Scarlett felt a sharp pain in her heart when she saw her best friend.
Sonia and Ryan....the both of them were having an affair?.
Behind her back?
How is this even possible
Sonia was the first person to speak.
She was actually quite happy that Scarlett had caught them.
She could get Scarlett to give way for her now. From what she knew of Scarlett, there was no way that she would remain in a relationship with Ryan since the both of them were already doing something like this.
She would never stand for it.
"Scarlett....I can explain this.....I....." Sonia did not get to finish.
She suddenly received a slap across her face.
"Don't talk to me!" Scarlett yelled.
Ryan then walked out. It seemed that he had heard the noise.
He came out to see what was happening.
Immediately he saw Scarlett who was brimming with anger and a Sonia that had a hand palm on her face.
He knew that he was finished. There was no way that Scarlett won't be able to figure out what was going on here.
"Scarlett...don't get angry first. I can explain this....." Ryan said.
"Alright. Explain this...." Scarlett said. Her voice was calm, it was frightening calm. No one could tell what she was thinking right now.
Sonia and Ryan could not help but feel a chill run down thier spine when they heard that.
Ryan opened his mouth but he realized that he could not form words. He was tounge tied.
"You were cheating on me? To think that I...." Scarlett felt like crying but she forced herself not to cry in front of these people.
No matter what, she could not let herself cry in front of them.
She would be the one losing our then. That could not happen at all.
She still had her own self pride.
"Scarlett....I'm sorry....I really...." Ryan wanted to explain himself but he did not know what to say.
He felt that he won't even feel sad if Scarlett found out that he was cheating. He felt that his feelings for her had already worn out because of time.
But he did not expect that he was going to be this sad.
He wasn't expecting this at all. Suddenly, he really did not want to explain himself. He thought of himself as a jerk though.
He could not stand the thought of himself.
"I'm sorry"
Slap!
Another slap echoed in the room. Scarlett had slapped Ryan.
"Ryan, this slap is what you owe me. I'm telling that from now on, it's over between us. The both of us no longer have anything to do with each other!" Scarlett said.
She turned decisively and walked out of the room. She did not want to stay here with these people anymore.
This was the good thing about Scarlett. She may be really guillible but she was a decisive person. She would never hesitate to do something that she had decided to do.
Even though she was sad now and she felt hurt and betrayed right now, she was sure that she was going to get over it. It was only a man. There was no reason for her to be sad over such a useless person.
He always cheated on hers and that meant that she was done with that relationship. She would never go back to that person. Nothing would ever make her change her mind.
She doesn't need to go back. And won't go back.
But even though she was decisive, it was a relationship that had lasted a lot of years. Would she be able to get over the relationship so soon?
Only time would tell.
Ryan was still sulking when Scarlett left his house. Sonia had already recovered from the shock. She felt that this was a good thing. She didn't need to worry about anything anymore. She felt that she would have to keep putting up a show.
"Ryan I..... Scarlett she...." Sonia wanted to say something but Ryan stopped her.
"Please leave me alone for a while" Ryan said.
Sonia sneered anyway he would be hers soon.

Kyle sat facing his father.
"Why did you ask me to come back? I was doing really well there. Why did you want me to come back?" Kyle asked his father. He made it clear that he really did not want to be here.
"How long are you intending to run away for? Do you think that as long as you run away, you won't have to deal with the problems? As a man, you should be standing up firm and facing those problems instead of walking away like a coward! How long do you want to do this for?" Peter asked his son.
Kyle played mute. He knew that his father was up to something since he was talking about running away like this.
After a few awkward seconds of silence, Kyle spoke up
"You don't have to beat around the bush, you asked me to come back for a reason right? Why did you ask me to come? Let's talk about it" Kyle said. He wanted to get over it as soon as possible.
Peter looked at his son, he had to admit, his son had grown more resilient over the years. He was much more mature. Letting him go away for two years wasn't such a bad thing after all.
"No matter what Kyle, you are my only son the company...you need to come back and deal with your responsibilities!" Peter asked.
Kyle smirked. So this was it, they called him back to take over the company?
You called me back to take over the company? I thought I already told you that I'm not going to do it? What do you think you are doing now? I'm perfectly fine where I am right now!" Kyle said.
"What? You are not going to do it? I already let you off for two years and you won't even take over the company? Are you going to let the company I worked hard for for so many years be destroyed like this?" Peter asked. He had gone through so much efforts to bring his company to such heights. He knew that his son had the ability to do it...but for some reason, he had been running away from home!
Two yeas ago, he even left for the Army. What is Kyle really trying to do?
"I really don't care about that" Kyle said with a smirk on his face.
Peter sighed. "it's the company that I suffered so much for. You can't just let the company go to ashes" Peter said.
"Who said I'm going to let it go to ashes? When you die, I'll hire a professional management team to run the company. Then I'll live the rest of my life enjoying the profits of the company without having to do anything. It's a pretty sweet deal don't you think?" Kyle asked his father.
Peter felt like he was going to get a stroke if he continued to listen to this song of his! What did he do to have a son like Kyle? He really did not want to too far but it seems that he did not have any choice. He had to do this.
"I'm telling you now, you have to settle back here and take charge of the company. Otherwise, do you really think that I don't know where that woman is?" Peter asked Kyle.
Kyle looked up at once. "What are you going to do to Anita?!" He asked.
"It all depends on what you do from now on" Peter said. Kyle isn't the only one who can be ruthless with his words. He could very well do the same thing. He really did not know how he ended up with this son!
"I already broke up with her two years ago! Why are you still bothering her?!" Kyle asked. He was so angry. He already did what they wanted and left Anita alone. Why are they still pressuring him?
"You broke up with her? Do you really think that I don't know how you've been helping her? Do you really think I'll let my son continue to be used by such a scheming woman?!" Peter asked he was so angry Kyle has always been a smart person, but why is that that Anita of a woman was able to fool him so much?
