Kyle sighed. It seemed that his father found out about it....
"What really do you want me to do? Isn't it enough that you broke up the both of us?" Kyle asked. He would never forget this.
"Do you even hear yourself? I broke up the both of you? I'm not the one who asked her to cheat on you! Can't be you be less stupid when that woman is involved?" Peter asked Kyle
"You were the one who set up a trap for her"! Kyle argued back.
"I was only trying to show you that she is a scheming woman. She was only after our family's money from the beginning! If she really loved you like she always claimed, then why did you cheat on you the first change that she got?' can't you be a little less stupid? Don't let such a scheming woman use you!" Peter yelled.
"Whether she uses me or not is none of your business. Anyway, what do you want from me asking me to come back this time?" Kyle asked. He was already tired of having this conversation.
"I already know that you've been helping her. I am telling you that even though you are helping her, there are lots of ways to make her life hell. Don't try me" Peter said.
Kyle sighed. Right now, he knew that he could not go against his father. He had no choice than to agree to do what he wants.
"Alright. I'll take over the company. Isn't that what you want?" Kyle asked. Anyway, he was already set to take over the company two years ago. Because of what happened with Anita, he changed his plans... anyway, he would just be going back to his old plans. If wasn't much of a big deal.
"Not just that. You'll be getting married!" Peter annouced.
Kyle burst out laughing. What the hell is the meaning of this? he has to get married?! This has to got to the biggest joke of the century.
"Dad, can you please not joke with things like that. I'm getting married?" Kyle asked still laughing. Like hell he was going to get married because they told him to!
Peter sat there with a calm smile on his face. He was expecting this kind of reaction from Kyle. Anyway, he is going to force him to get married one way or another.
"Yes, you are getting married. If you don't want to, we can simply do things the hard way. I'll find Anita. I won't let her live in peace!" Peter said. He really did not like that scheming woman Anita but she was quite useful in threatening Kyle like this.
Kyle was enraged. He got up angrily. "Dad...what the hell is the meaning of this? Are you really going to force me to get married?! What about my feelings?" Kyle asked. He was so angry. It was one thing that he was using Anita to force him to get take over his dam company but now he was even asking him to get married? What kind of classic joke is this?
"Your feelings can't he trusted anyway. You loved Anita to the ends of the Earth and she turned out to be just another scheming b*tch! Do you really think that I'm going to let you get away with bringing that woman into our family?" Peter asked. He knew that he had to stern. His son's future depended on what he did from now on.
He certainly can't let him be with a woman that will ruin him.
Kyle laughed. It was a really eerie laughter. "You already made all the preparations right? There is no way that I'll be able to escape from it right? Tell me, who will I be getting married?" Kyle asked. It seemed that his father was really serious about this.
It seemed that there was no hope for him and Anita from now on.
But no matter what, he still had to keep her safe. He would do anything to make sure that he maintained the peaceful life that she had right now. Even if it meant giving himself away to hide father to do whatever he wanted with him. He was ready to do it all for the sake of Anita.
Peter smiled. It was quite cruel on his part but he knew that he did not have a choice. He had to make a future for his son and he had to make sure that there was no way that that scheming woman Anita will be able to come back into his life. In order to do all of that, he had to make sure that his son was married.
"You remember my old friend Mr Kingston right? You met him when you were young. It's his daughter Scarlett Kingston" Peter said.
Kyle's expression was even more worse then before. What? He has to get married to Scarlett Kingston?
Even though he had not met her before, everyone in the business world knew who Mr Kingston was and everyone knew that he has a daughter that he pampered a lot. A lot of people did not even know what she looked like because she did not like socializing with people.
He is going to marry some pampered princess because of her father's wealth? He had never thought that a day would come where he, Kyle would be forced to get married to someone because of her father! It was too insulting!
But still, when he thought about Anita and what might happen to her if he did not do it, he knew that he had to agree. No matter what, he won't let any harm come to Anita.
It seemed that it was the only thing that he could do for her in this world ...he was ready to do it...
But still... marrying someone that he had not seen before...it was still too much and he did not know how he was supposed to accept it.
He could not throw a tantrum now. "I really don't believe you!" Kyle said and stomped out of the room.
Peter smiled and did not say anything else. He knew that since Kyle wasn't saying anything else, he had already agreed to it.
He just hoped that the marriage between the both of them was going to work out.
Kyle was meeting up with a few of his friends in a hotel bar. Ever since he left for the army, he had not kept up with these guys.
They were all talking loudly now.
"Wow Kyle really did come back! I thought he was going to live as a monk for the rest of his life! I thought that he wasn't going to come back and that he was going to devote his life to the country!" One of his friends, Ben said.
They all laughed. But Kyle didn't laugh. He had a grim look on his Face.
He could not stop thinking about what his father said. He had to get married as soon as he came back! This really is crazy!
If he had known that his father had such a crazy man, he would not have come here no matter what he said. He just came here to give himself away to his father!
"What's up with you Kyle? You don't look too happy!" One of his friends, Lucas noted.
"Yeah Kyle. What's up?" A blonde haired guy, Clinton asked.
"What's wrong?! I'm getting married!" Kyle yelled. They had been drinking for some time and he was starting to get drunk and so he just blurted it out.
It came as a shock to all of them. It took a minute for them to process the news. He is getting married?!
Kyle is getting married?! How can something like this even be possible?
He just got back today and he is getting married?! Damn! This guy sure is fast!
"You are getting married? Wait....to who?" It really was hard to believe.
Kyle was aggrieved and he just wanted to let out his grieviances and he so started talking as soon as he opened his mouth.
"I don't know! Some heiress. I heard her name is Scarlett Kingston. I just get back and find out that I'm getting married! How can something like this even be possible? Does this make any sense to you guys at all?" Kyle said. He sounded like he was whining now.
There was a complete silence among them for at least five minutes before the blonde haired guy Clinton spoke up again.
"Scarlett Kingston? Is that the daughter of the Billionaire James Kingston? You are marrying her?" Clinton asked.
"Yes!" Came the reply. Damn! He was so angry.
"Wow.... this is really amazing. How did you meet her?" Ben asked. Even though she was a socialite, she usually did not hang around them. So many people did not know how she looked. But for Kyle to get married to her as soon as be came back, it really was something.
