Alisha's POV
Alisha held the hands of Alex and Alia as they skipped ahead of Markian and Mitchell. The power nap that the cubs had just now really refreshed them and they were running around like the Energizer Bunny. Alisha was finding it difficult maintaining a hold on their hands so she let them skip on ahead within the confines of her direct view.
The kids were wearing their dry clothes which consisted of a blue t-shirt and black shorts for Alex and a pink t-shirt and white shorts for Alia.Their hair drying naturally into a riot of curls in the wind. They looked adorable and Alisha hoped that on seeing how cute the cubs were, the Starfall Alphas wouldn't have the heart to punish them for trespassing. She hoped that at least the cubs would be spared. She knew it was a long shot as the Alphas of Starfall were known to make decisions consulting their brain, and never with their hearts. This time though, she hoped her mates could be the determining factor that favours her situation. She didn't know at what capacity her mates acted in the Starfall pack, she felt power radiating from them but she couldn't be sure. Alisha hoped that they did hold some clout with the Alphas or else their union was doomed as she would be thrown into the dungeon or worse, she could be executed, for trespassing.
Alisha was also nervous thinking of meeting her future in-laws. Markian and Mitchell wouldn't allow her to go back to Moongazer to change. What would they think of their sons' predicament? Would they wonder about how their sons were going to share the she-wolf?
Markian and Mitchell were worried that she would find some other excuse for them not to be together and reject them. They convinced her that they would need to see their parents first then the Alphas of Starfall to explain her trespassing issue.
"She wants to see the Alphas of Starfall? How are we going to tell her that she is looking at them now?"Markian mindlinked Mitchell.
"Don't worry about that yet. We need to take her to Starfall first and then we can slowly explain the entire situation to her. Let mum talk to her first. Hopefully, she can allay Alisha's worries. She is so fretful I am worried she may not take the news of being a Luna well...Let's just give her a bit more time" Mitchell tried to reassure Markian while he too was anxious about what would happen when Alisha found out the truth. He hoped that their parents could do something to help Alisha and their situation
The little cubs had no idea what was going on behind them...Truth be told they were oblivious to the nervous rumbling happening behind them as well. They loved meeting new people and Markian had promised to show them his treehouse. They were so excited and couldn't wait to play in the treehouse. They had never been to Starfall so both of them were excited.
They didn't know that Alisha's heart was thundering like a bullet train about to explode out of her chest. "What is going to happen when we get to their pack? How nice it is to dream, about meeting your mate but now ,what do I do when it has come true? How can I, meet my future in-laws looking like this?"Alisha said in despair. She tugged at her t-shirt and tried to pull her shorts down. She didn't think it would help much but she didn't really have much to work with as her hair was drying into a knotted mess and she hadn't even brought a comb with her.
Heera just beamed in pleasure as she knew that she was going to be with Damon and Appolo from now on. She was glad that Alisha has chosen to give Markian and Mitchell a chance as she knew it in the bones that they were meant to be together as mates.
Markian and Mitchell could smell Alisha's nervousness and hesitancy. They couldn't understand why she was behaving that way. They wished that she could see herself through their eyes. She was kind and gentle with the young cubs and they loved her very much. She was responsible and accountable with the way she confronted them at the lake when she thought the cub we're being kidnapped. She was going to be their Luna and they were gonna be happy together. The two Alphas- to-be was so proud to bring back their beautiful new Luna to be introduced to the pack. They knew that their parents would love Alisha as soon as they met her.
As they walked towards their packhouse, Markian and Mitchell realised Alisha was getting more anxious as she was starting to dragging her feet slowly on the road towards the packhouse. The kids kept on their chattering and Alisha was barely able to maintain the conversation.
Markian slipped his arm around Alisha's shoulder and squeezed it so that he could allay some of her fears. She turned to look at Markian's face and saw only love for her, shining through his eyes Alisha gave Markian a shaky smile but still held her back stiff. She took a deep breath and continued walking.
Alisha stiffened as Mitchell's fingers descended onto her shoulder. He didn't allow her to move away as he slowly trailed his fingers over the shoulders and below towards her waist. Shocks of electricity tingled over her body and radiated to her fingers. Alisha leaned back into Mitchell's body, the warmth that radiated from his body helping her breathe slowly and reducing her heart rate considerably. Leaning back, Alisha's neck was fully exposed to Mitchell's mouth and he took the opportunity to kiss her on her soft skin where he knew that he would soon mark if she allowed him too. Alisha moaned at the sensation that she was experiencing.
Markian came to stand in front of Alisha forcing her to lift her eyes to his face. He couldn't help but smile into the pair of aquamarine eyes which slowly raised in question. Alisha's breath hitched as she found Markian's head slowly descending towards her lips. Alisha raised her hand to try and stop him as she knew she would be lost if Markian kissed her. Without losing a beat, Markian caught her small hand into his and pressed it to his chest.
Alisha could feel the slow and steady hypnotic beat of Markian's heart under her fingertips. She felt her toes curl at the sensations clawing through her body. Markian glided her hand from his chest to the nape of his neck. The soft curls of his hair tickled her fingertips. Alisha's eyes closed at the intense amount of feeling coursing through her body and drumming toward a place at the apex of her thighs. Her knees buckled at the sheer pleasure she was feeling. She thanked the Goddess that she was leaning on Mitchell, if not she would have fallen in a heap to the ground
Markian laughed to see the pebbling of her nipples on her t-shirt. Alisha's eyes opened in wonderment at the feelings that the two wolves were forcing her to feel. She couldn't understand how quickly she accepted the two of them as her mates and the surge of warmth she felt when she saw them made her smile.
Heera was so happy that she was practically hopping out of Alisha body with glee. She knew that Damon and Apollo were getting very excited as well. They couldn't wait for the time that they could be together
Alisha grew a little afraid of the depth of feeling she felt for the two wolves."Are we going too fast with this?" she whispered "I don't know both of you but I feel like a part of me would die, if you ever left me.
I don't know who you are!! And am I ready to follow you, to your pack? I am scared Markian... I am scared of this feeling I have for both of you. I have lost so much before and I won't be able to handle losing both of you. Mitchell".
Both Mitchell and Markian stopped what they were doing. They realised that Alisha was really worried and they had done nothing to address that worry. They realised for a young wolf-like Alisha, changes of this magnitude were not exciting but were scary. Markian held Alisha, crushing his chest to hers and Mitchell pulled Alisha's back into his chest, forming a cocoon of love around Alisha. They interlaced their hands holding Alisha so that nothing could touch or hurt her. The twins made Alisha feel small and cherished. They understood that Alisha's feelings needed to be addressed before they could move onto anything that mattered in their life. Alisha smiled as a great warmth engulfed her whole body and she lifted up her hand to trace the cheeks of both of her mates. As her thumbs traced her mates' soft lips, Mitchell opened his mouth first and began to suck on it. Alisha quickly turned towards Mitchell and gasped. Markian followed suit not long after this. Alisha opened her mouth in a silent protest when she realised that both Mitchell and Markian knew the effect that they were having on Alisha's body
"Don't worry my darling. We love you already and there is nothing that we would not do for you," said Mitchell softly vowing to protect Alisha till his last breath
"You will never lose us, Alisha. Trust us! We will never let you go" said Markian fervently vowing the same
Markian kissed Alisha with a passion that drowned any protest from her lips. He deepened the kiss so that Alisha could not think of anything else except the magic that she was feeling which started at her lips and engulfed her entire body. Mitchell who was still holding her from behind scraped his teeth over the soft skin of her neck. Markian could see the surge of desire dancing in her eyes and her flushed face.
"We are here for you Alisha. Don't worry. Whatever happens, we will be there with you. Just give yourself a chance to get to know us.We will not let you down, baby." Markian tried to reassure Alisha. She nodded silently accepting what the twins were saying.
They saw that the kids were quite far in front of them already so they started walking faster so that they could catch up with the kids. They came up to a woman hanging out her laundry. She looked up from the clothesline and smiled."Good afternoon young Alphas.So nice to see you today....and....and who might these cute little cubs be?" she asked.
Alex giggled and ran up to her."Hi there! I am Alex and that's my twin sister Alia. We are from the Moongazer pack and we are here with our carer, Alisha. Who are you?" He gushed while pointing at all of them excitedly.
Markian was happy that Alisha didn't catch what Mrs Roberts called them." That's the introduction out of the way Mrs Roberts. So you are all caught up now, aren't you?" he said.
"We are going to take them to meet my parents" Mitchell continued purposely not referring to his parents as the Alpha and the Luna of their pack. He didn't think that Alisha noticed again as she was looking at Alia who was skipping forward in abandon
"The Alpha and Luna? Well, they are up at the cottage. I saw them go there myself about two hours ago. You know how the Luna loves to potter in the garden. I bet you will find both of them there still" Mrs Roberts pointed at the white cottage with a blue thatched roof that could be seen in the distance then continued on her way with her laundry while the small group moved on towards the cottage
Markian took hold of Alisha's hand. He could feel her blood thundering through her veins. Her breath started coming out erratically as her nervousness overwhelmed her again As they neared the cottage, Alisha started dragging her feet again. Mitchell smiled at her antics. He grabbed her shoulders and pulled her into a bear hug." Alisha! Our parents are gonna love you. Don't worry so much. Now come on! Let's go meet them and introduce their future daughter in law to them"
Alisha felt her body relax as Mitchell hugged her fears away. She stopped and took a deep breath. Alex and Alia were already opening the little gate that leads towards the front door. Markian and Mitchell were standing behind her, close enough that she could smell the individual scent wafting into her nostrils and playing havoc with her nerves.
Yet on taking a deep breath, Alisha realised that the fear that she felt had been blown away by the sweet smell she had come to associate with the mates." I wonder if this is how everyone feels with their mate around? I feel powerful and ready to fight anything for my mates" she asked Heera who was purring in contentment.
"Come on then"whispered Markian."I can't wait for them to meet you. They are going to be so pleased that we finally met you. They have also been waiting for you" He said again as he exerted a little bit of pressure on Alisha's lower back to propel her forward.
As the three of them walked towards the gate, they could see that Alex and Alia had already reached the front door and were pounding on it.
"Alex!! Just knock once. They are gonna think that you are trying to break their door down" Alisha hurried to the door to prevent Alex from knocking again
As she pulled Alex back, the door opened to reveal a very handsome man."Oh my! I am sorry sir! Sorry to disturb you...I mean...That is ..We are sorry. What I mean is..." gushed Alisha as Alex and Alia started laughing as she continued to stammer incoherently
He started smiling as he noticed Markian and Mitchell behind Alisha. His startling blue eyes crinkled with mirth as he looked at Alisha trying her best not to blush but failing miserably.
Alisha realised that she was staring at him and flushed even a further shade of pink.
"Markian ....are you going to help with an introduction? Or are we just going to enjoy the fact that she is becoming as red as the tomatoes in your mother's garden" said the man who was obviously Mitchell and Markian's father
"I think I would like to discover how much more she can blush dad" grinned Markian as he took his father's hand and pulled him into a bear hug. Both men were of similar heights and built. They looked remarkably like each other. Alisha blushed again at Markian teasing.
"Stop it Markian! I am trying to make a good impression here!" Alisha swatted Markian angrily.
That got both Markian and Mitchell as well as their father laughing again.
"Come in! Come in! All five of you and tell me what is this that I have missed while I have been helping your mother in her garden.
The kids and Alisha were ushered into the house with Mitchell and Markian trailing behind them.
