A few second later, a massive, Gold and white feathered bird used its large wings to slow its descent, flapping heavily as it came close to landing. It landed smoothly on its four talons in a wide area in the yard of the Bamboo Forest. Its large eyes intelligently glanced over everyone present after it landed.
"A Griffyn!" Craig exclaimed, looking at the large bird in shock. 'Shouldn't griffyns be extinct?' He thought as he sized up the strange creature, built from a combination of a lion's body and the head and wings of an Eagle. Compared to Greymont, who now looked like an adorable puppy, this griffyn was like a small dragon. It towered even above the houses and competed with the bamboo trees for height.
Greymont slowly backed away towards the main hut with his eyes fixed on the griffyn. He suddenly felt like a most insignificant existence.
