After being tricked by Glowmyth and Craig, Eric had spent several hours combing through the forest only to turn up empty handed. Feeling defeated, he had returned to his carriage and continued his journey back to Elvenwood, alone.
Today, he finally arrived after nearly three days of travel. Craig and Maeli had made it to the Bamboo Forest quicker than him. Right now Craig was up in the clouds on a journey to an unknown place and Maeli was on her way back to Elvenwood together with A'ina.
After entering the city, the guard reported to Eric that the king wanted to see him. Thus he headed straight to the palace to meet with the king and elders. He made it just in time to cross paths with Thanos who had just stormed out of the throne room some moments prior.
"Eric, you've returned." Thanos greeted upon seeing him walking up the large empty hall way.
Eric nodded. "Yes, I was delayed due to some minor troubles."
