Dracula summoned the guards assigned to watch over Amaranth.
"Has Clara gone into Amaranth's room before ?" He asked and they shook their head .
He looked into their eyes and tried entering their brain cells but there was a barrier on a specific memory , which he suspected to be concerned with Clara ! .
"Why can't I go into a particular memory of yours ?"He asked .
"I don't know, my Lord " Lancelot replied .
"So you're saying , you don't recall seeing Clara go into Amaranth's room ?"
"I don't " They replied in unison .
"Go back to your duty posts "He ordered and they left .
"Drac !" He called and Drac flew into his arms .
"What do you have to say about them ?"Dracula asked .
"They're lying " Drac said .
"If Clara is really visiting Amaranth, then for what reason ?" Dracula asked .
"To check if the cat is her's"
"If she really went to Amaranth , then why did she lie to me ?"
"That I don't know , considering the fact that they're not on good terms , it's confusing. You both share a bond that allows you read each other's thoughts so go and check her memory . I doubt she knows how to put on the barrier "Drac replied
"You think I didn't think of that ? The barrier is always on in her head , even without knowing about it and if it snaps for a moment , the next moment its on already . I need to know Clara's relationship with Amaranth. Why don't you go to your friend and fetch out the truth from her ?"Dracula asked with a smirk.
"What are friends for ?"Drac asked and flew away .
"Amaranth, if you're getting close with Clara then your life is in danger "Dracula murmured.

Clara walked into Amaranth's chambers when Lancelot stopped her .
"Since when did this gesture begin?"She asked with an annoyed stare .
"Dracula asked us if you've been coming to Amaranth's chambers" Lancelot said .
"And what did you reply ?" She asked
"We told him no"
"Good , now leave my way "She ordered .
"Dracula isn't a fool , he must have sensed the barriers in our heads and we all know what a person goes through if he decides to break the barrier himself " Richard said .
"If you're saying this to convince yourself that you have to stop working with me , then let me remind you that one drop of my venom into your monstrous blood stream will leave you in pains till you take your last breath , and don't even think the pain is going to last for a few days . Now leave my way "She ordered and they left her to enter the room .
Drac who's been watching everything from afar flew away at that moment .
Knock knock .
"Hi Amaranth"Clara said with a smile .
"Hi , backstabber " Amaranth replied with a smile too to see a frown on Clara's face .
"What do you mean by that ?"She asked .
"You come here and keep me company then you leave to sleep with a man am married to " Amaranth said and Clara put on a pathetic face .
"It's not what you think . He forced himself on me and my powers were too small to fight him back "
"You don't expect me to believe this shit you just spilled out here , do you ?"
"I swear on my life that am not lying to you . He came in and began to touch me , so I told him to stop since we're friends now but then he got angry at my statement and had his way with me . You should understand what am talking about " Clara said and Amaranth nodded .
"I believe you cause he does that with me too . That beast has no respect for women ."
"I agree with you and I wonder how I fell in love with a man who's character is this bad ""
"It's not your fault character , so stop blaming yourself" Amaranth said gently .
"Do you still want to stay here ? I know a way we can leave and maybe go to your own world and live a normal life there " Clara said .
"Are you serious ?"She asked .
"Of course , I am " Clara replied and Amaranth hugged her tightly while Clara smirked .
"There's no time , Dracula called me some minutes ago to ask if I've been visiting you and I replied no " Clara said .
"I gave him that reply too , but he has the ability to read minds , how come he didn't find out the truth ?"Amaranth asked .
"That's because there's a barrier which protects our thoughts from invasion such as his . Am surprised yours is up but I'll teach you how to keep the barrier tighter than before " Clara said and a tear dropped from Amaranth's eye .
"To think you'll be the first friend am having other than Drac , is just surprising but am very grateful to you "Amaranth said and Clara used her thumb to wipe away the tear from her eye .
"Drac is your friend ?"Clara asked with a surprised face .
"Of course " She replied .
"You're lucky , Drac is very picky with anyone other than Dracula " Clara said and they laughed together .
"I'll go to my room to fetch some stuffs then I'll be here again so we can leave " Clara said and Amaranth nodded , then she left the room .
Clara teleported to her room and her eyes turned violet .
"The time has finally come " She muttered .
Her personal servant came in at that moment and closed the door .
"Were you able to convince her ?"She asked
"Of course , it is finally time "Clara replied .
"What about iris ?" The servant asked .
"I don't know about her and you should know it's almost impossible if not impossible to get her out of his grasp " Clara said and the servant nodded.
"You know where to meet us " Clara said and disappeared.
She appeared in Amaranth's room and smiled .
"It's the first time ,am seeing you use your appearing powers " Amaranth said .
"There's no time , Dracula will find out soon , so we have to leave now " Clara said and disappeared along with Amaranth.

The conversation that took place on Clara's room 're sounded in Dracula's ears and he ordered his guards to go and get Clara's servant immediately.
Drac flew to Dracula's shoulders and narrated all he heard , when Clara came to Amaranth's chambers .
"Did you say her eyes turned violet and she talked about her venom ?" Dracula asked .
"Yes " I was shocked and confused when I heard that .
"Loroo !" Dracula summoned and Loroo appeared before him.
Drac narrated the same thing he narrated to Dracula to Loroo and he had a shocked facial expression.
"Clara isn't just a normal creature anymore , I think she has something to do with a snake and not just any snake but a very deadly one " Loroo said and just then , the guards dragged Clara's personal servant to Dracula.
"She was about to disappear before we caught her " A guard said .
"Go and get Amaranth now !"He ordered.
"There's no need in going in search of her . She's with my mistress now " The servant said and swallowed a stone and before Loroo could stop her , she dropped down dead .
