"Must I have a reason to visit my best friend? What's with the killing intent?" Habaek sneered at Xiao Futu and clicked his tongue.
"You were never a good liar Habaek. The bastard I knew would never waste his soul power just for a casual visit. Using an illusion despite me being alone. It's not something the friend of mine would do just because he wants to 'Visit His Friend'. You are never like that. Cut the crap and cut straight to the chase. Why are you here? What's happening in the Tianzong realm?" Xiao Yan looked so serious as his pressure was no joke.
"Hehehe…. I thought so. You are my best friend in deed. You didn't need me to tell you that my reason is from the Tianzong realm. I really need to stop underestimating me." Habaek smiled, trying to lift up the dead mood.
"Am already aware of the fact that the Cang realm and the Tianzong realm are now in joint alliance, so you can straight away start telling me what you wanted." It was obvious that Futu didn't want the mood to be lifted at all. He had always been the kind of guy that was very serious when he was down to business and jovial when he needed to be. That was Xiao Futu for you.
"Am gonna stop trying to lift up the mood then. Am not surprised of the fact that you were still going into the Tianzong realm without being noticed by even Wudi. The Tianzong realm has fallen from the sword way."
"I always told you that you were the lifeline of the Tianzong realm. I was a little bit surprised when I found out that even Menxia is in on this."
"They are aiming for Korea to launch an attack." This statement shocked Xiao Futu.
"Why are they after such a small nation..? What are they looking for?"
"Wudi and Wugong have an establishment in Korea. The biggest Magnus school in Korea, Seoul Battle…."
"Wait… Seoul Battle High belongs to Wudi and Wugong?" Xiao Futu was shocked when he heard this. He was aware of the fact that his son was in Seoul Battle High.
Suddenly a wave of killing intent that was worse than the previous one was felt be even Habaek's soul body. Killing intent covered Xiao Futu's body as he was extremely upset.
"This can't be. Sao needs to know of this…"
Immediately after saying this, the illusion was broken into pieces as Xiao Futu and Habaek looked at the surprised Sao who just broke a high ranking illusion barrier casted by Habaek.
"Hehehe… To think he would marry the girl of his dreams. I am immensely feeling depressed here."
Xiao Sao rushed and hugged her husband still pointing her sword at Habaek.
"What is this bastard's soul body doing here?" Sao always had a grudge against Habaek from years ago before marrying Xiao Futu.
*****************************Past Flashback*****************************
Xiao Futu and Habaek were friends. Very close friends and close confidants of each other. It started with rivalry. Habaek was shocked when he found out that there was someone as strong as him despite having a his realm power slightly greater than Xiao Futu.
He would always look for reasons to fight with Xiao Futu, but end up getting beaten up if not the fight being a tie. He eventually became tired of trying to fight Habaek and decided to be friends with him. There was no way he could draw this person into the Sky Pavilion. This person was undoubtedly the strongest contender of his, outside the Dragons. He thought it would be better if they were friends.
As for Sao, she was the biggest rival of Habaek's. She thought Habaek to be proud and pompous and decided that she would be the first to break his spirit. The first day she met Xiao Futu was when she mistakenly saw his fight with Habaek. She was dumbfounded and immediately fell in love with Xiao Futu. She followed him every time from that day but didn't know that the person she was following had already caught a whim of her following him.
She had seen all of Habaek's and Futu's battle and took the liberty to learn from most of Futu's moves. It was like a training of a sort for her. The more she followed him, noticed his calm nature, the more she loved him. She was already hopelessly in love with him.
What surprised her more than anything was the fact that he had a strange way in which he gets stronger. He just meditates all day and does some strange swordsmanship at night. He was a shadow user to top it all off. His foot works, movement, speed, skills, they were all top notch. There was no way she could imitate any of his movement. It was just so peculiar to the eyes.
"You've followed me for months now. Don't you think it's time to reveal your face, huh young lady?" She heard him say this one night she was watching him. It turned out that he was aware that she had been following him but she decided to stay quiet. She continued watching him until something unexpected happe
