Angel's POV
The sand in the cave felt warm and I loved it. I loved this place. I was initially pissed that Jason brought me to the woods for our day but now I was ecstatic that he brought me to the woods for our date. This place was magical, the pool was even more magical. I needed a dip in that pool as soon as possible but sadly I didn't bring a swimsuit maybe next time.
"Come my love, let's have dinner" Jason said grabbing my hand softly and pulling me to the dinner table. He pulled out my chair for and I sat down giving him a smile of appreciation. He took the sit opposite me and served us dinner which consisted of Spaghetti bolognese which I loved.
"Thank you" I said before we dig into the food in front of us while making small talks here and there. The date was going great so far. I was really enjoying myself and Jason was definitely earning brownie points already. After dinner car dessert which was pure heaven; chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream on the side. Marvellous. I ate to my heart's content. When we were done with dessert, Jason and I talked some more while sipping on wine.
"Give me a minute. I need to get something from the car" Jason said as he got up from his seat and walked out of the cave. I got up and went to sit by the pool with my glass of wine in hand. I dipped my legs in and the water felt warm and amazing. It was so refreshing, I really wish I could take a dip in the pool. So sad.
"Here you go. I thought you might need this" I heard Jason said my behind as he handed me a bag. I didn't even hear him come back in. I took the bag from him, looked inside. It was a swimsuit. Jason got me a swimsuit. I looked up at him in awe. This guy was amazing. I smiled at him, got up and hugged him.
"Thank you" I said wholeheartedly.
"You're welcome baby. Anything for you" he said placing reaching down to kiss me but I could tell he was being hesitant because he wasn't sure how I would react. So I reached up and placed my lips on him in a soft kiss. I heard him sigh in content as he pulled me closer to him as he completely devoured my lips. The bag dropped from my hand and I wrapped my hands around him kissing him with everything I had in me. I pulled away softly to catch my breath. I looked at him and smiled.
"Does this mean you forgive" he asked in an hopeful tone which made me smirk at him.
"I had forgiven you a long time ago Jason. You just needed to be taught a lesson" I said stepping away from him as my smirk turned into a smile.
"Say what" he said in shock raising an eyebrow.
"I forgave you a long time ago" I said picking up the bag and going to a secluded part of the cave and changing into the swimwear. I grabbed a makeup wipe from the bag and wiped off all the makeup on my face. When I was done, I grabbed the mini moisturizer in my purse and applied some on my face.
"Why didn't you tell me this" he said looking kind of confused.
"It was fun watching grovel and sweet at the same time. You had to know that what you did to me wasn't right. If I had just brushed it under the carpet who is to say it won't happen again" I said which made him bow his head in regret which made me walk up to him. I placed my hand on his cheek and lifted his head so he could look at him, I smiled at him softly.
"I am so sorry my love. If I could go back and change everything, I would in a heartbeat" he said placing his hands on my waist and pulling me closer to him. He looked into my eye, bowed his head softly
"It's okay big guy. I forgive you. Just don't do it again if not I will kill murder in your sleep" I said smiling at him innocently which made me chuckle softly.
"Thank you so much amore mio. I don't know what I will do without you" he said kissing my forehead softly which made me close my eye and sigh softly. I felt at peace right now. My angel and wolf felt at peace which was something we haven't felt since we first discovered what we were. Peace was a luxury to us. A luxury we didn't have. I looked up at Jason and I couldn't help the sadness that sipped into my heart. At this moment, I knew deep inside me that I would do anything and everything to keep him and this pack safe from everybody and anybody that wants to harm them. I saw Jason reach into his pockets and he pulled something out of it. He stepped away from me and got down on a knee and my heart flew to my throat. Is he proposing??
"And before you think it is a proposal. It's not at least not yet. It's a promise" He reassured which calmed me down a bit while I took deep breaths to calm my racing heart.
"You almost gave me a heart attack" I said laughing softly as I shook my he's a bit.
"It's a problem tesoro. A promise to not break your heart again. A promise of my undying love to you. A promise that I would never leave you alone, I would never intentionally hurt you. A promise hat I would die for you and our future pups. A promise to always treat you as my equal and in a way that you deserve. A promise to remain faithful to you until the day I die. I promise to love with every life in me, with all my heart, to cherish you, to be with you through thick and thin, in sickness and in heart. Forever and always" he said which made tears fill my eyes. Such sweet words. I could never love this man any less. He was my ride or die. Jason opened the small box in his hand and inside laid a very beautiful ring. There was no way this was a promise ring, it legit looks like an engagement ring. It was incredibly stunning. I had no words to use to describe the beauty of the ring.
"Do you accept my promise to you my love" Jason had to asked because I was speechless from everything that was happening right now. I nodded my head unable to form any words. He grabbed my left hand and slipped the ring in my ring finger and it was a perfect fit. It looked beautiful.
"Let's take a swim" I said after a few minutes as I turned away from him towards the pool. I dove into the pool and let me tell you it felt amazing, the water felt warm and round me. I felt all my worries leave my body. I swam up after a minute for some air. I looked up and saw Jason smiling down at me which made me laugh in glee.
"Come join me. The water feels amazing" I said spinning in the pool. I looked back at Jason and saw him taking off his clothes. It was literally a strip show. He looked so hot.
"You like what you see" he said smirking at him.
"Yes I do and it is all mine" I said biting my lower lip as he walked up to the pool and dove in. He came out of the water and swam towards me, he wrapped his hands around me making me smile up at him which made him place a kiss on my lips. I wrapped my hands around him and pulled him closer to me. I took a peek at the ring and was in awe as to how the diamond rested on my finger. Like it was meant to be there.
"I love you so much baby" He said looking at like I was the best thing that has ever happened to him which I am. I smiled at shyly as he removed my hair from my face.
We continued swimming and it was pure bliss. At one point, Jason got out of the pool and got us some wine. This was the best date I have ever been on. I loved every bit of it. When it was time to go, I was so sad, I didn't want to leave anytime soon. I got changed into my gown and dry my body with the towel Jason brought. I put my hair in a bun. Jason guided my out of the cave and into his car before he got in and drove off.
When we got to my house, it was pretty late already and I could feel exhaustion weighing me down but I didn't let it bother me a bit. I looked the ring several times because I loved the joy that filled my heart when I see it. It just gave me this sense of reassurance that he was mine and mine alone.
"We are here" he said which brought me out of my daze. I looked up at him and then at my house. I sighed sadly. I was said that the night had to end.
"We can go back take the cave anytime you want" Jason said which peeked my interest and a smile appeared on my face which made me laugh softly.
"I really love the cave and the pool is everything" I said playing with my ring.
"Well then, it is a good thing that it is ours only. Our spot" he announced which made me gasp out
"Are you serious. Like it is our spot. Our spot" I asked still in shock. I thought the cave was a public place.
"I just discovered the cave a few days ago and according to my dad it has been abandoned for years now. Since I just discovered it again, so it is our spot. I even plan on naming it Angel's cave" he said which made me gasp in shock.
"You are naming it after me" I asked in shock. I never expected this. This is surreal.
"Yes. It is magical just like you" he said which warmed my heart and smiled at him.
"Thank you so much. It means a lot." I said. He placed his hand on my cheek and pulled me in for a kiss. Pure bliss I tell you. Pure bliss.
"We have school tomorrow" I said as I pulled away from the kiss.
"Yes we do" he said placing soft kisses on my lips.
"I should go inside. It is pretty late already" I said completely distracted by this hot specimen in front of me.
"Yeah you should. But I can't get enough of you" he said still kissing me.
"I have to go baby. I will see you tomorrow" I said as I pulled away. I grabbed my things and opened the door before I could get down, Jason pulled my back and pulled me into a deep kiss which knocked breath out of me. After a while, I pulled away from the kiss completely breathless.
"I will see you tomorrow" he said smirking at me softly. I got down from the car and walked to my front door. I could feel Rory waiting behind the door. I looked at Jason as he drove out of my property. I smiled softly and sighed out softly.
I opened the front door and was immediately bombarded with questions from Rory but I managed to get inside. I walked to the living room with Rory behind asking a thousand questions at once, I dropped my things on the couch and sat down on the floor still on cloud 9.
"Girl, give me details. I'm dying here" Rory whined out I'm frustration which made me smile at her as the cloud in head cleared out.
"It was beautiful but I can't tell you yet. I need to call Andy so I can't tell you guys at once. Too lazy to tell it twice" I said as I grabbed my phone and called Andy putting her on speaker and she answered the phone at the first ring.
"Give me details" Andy screeched out in glee and anticipation.
"That's what am waiting for" Rory said into the phone while rolling her eyes at me. I wasted no time and dove into the details of the date from the cave to the delicious dinner to the pool and the promise ring that still looked like an engagement ring to me. When we got to the ring part, Andy insisted that I FaceTime so she could see even though I tried to assure her that she would see it tomorrow at school. I finally switched to FaceTime and showed her the ring which made her scream, coupled with with Rory's scream, I knew I would have hearing problems tomorrow. After that, I told them about how the plans on naming the cave after me and that was pretty much it. After the story time, Andy bid us goodnight cause it was already late. Rory and I stayed up until it was 11pm talking and we also called Mum.
When we were tired, we decided to retire to our respective bedrooms for the night. When I got to my room, I took off my dress, had a warm shower, got dressed for bed before going about I'm night routine which includes my skincare and other stuff. I plugged my phone to charge before getting into bed. I wished Alina and Elina a good night before falling into a nightmare filled dream.
