Wednesday Morning.......
Angel's POV
Today, Rory and I were going back to Atlanta and I was a little bit excited because I wanted to show Rory around and it was nice knowing I won't be alone back in Atlanta and it was also sad because we were going to be away from Mum. I love my mom so spending time away from her is always sad and sickening. But I understand her reasons, I mean, I use the money she makes to maintain my lavish and luxurious lifestyle so I totally understand that she needs to work and her work is here in New York.
So today was going like every normal traveling day, I woke up around 7:30am and started packing my bags especially the new stuff I got for the trip back home. When I was done, I stripped naked, dumped my dirty clothes in the hamper before getting into the shower. After showering, I got out, dried my body and wore my fluffy oversized robe. I walked out of the bathroom and into my closet to get ready for the day. I went about my normal skincare routine and moisturized by body as well before applying some SPF, then, I wore some underwear and deodorant before picking out my outfit for the day and throwing them on, wore some perfume and put on my shoes. Then, I went to my vanity and applied a light layer of makeup.
When I was done, I grabbed my phone and went downstairs for breakfast. When I got downstairs, I saw Mum and Rory having breakfast at the dining table and Rory was once again looking really good in her outfit.
"Good morning Mum" I said kissing her on the cheek.
"Morning honey" she replied afternoon taking a sip of her water.
"Morning Rory" I said taking the seat to my Mom left since Rory was sitting to her right and I dug right into my breakfast which consisted of some French toast, fried eggs and some fruits.
"Morning sis" she replied smiling at me
"Have you girls packed your bags for the trip back to Atlanta" Mum asked
"Just finished packing this morning"I answered before taking a bite of my food.
"I finished packing last night" Rory said taking a sip of her orange juice. I poured some apple juice to a glass for myself and taking a sip from it.
"Okay. That's good. Your private jet is scheduled for 11:30am. Terry has everything ready for you guys" Mom said
"I'm going to miss you Mama Rose" Rory said holding Mom's hand while I held the other hand giving them a sad smile. We were all sad about leaving each other. We enjoyed the time we spent today these past few days and we don't want it to ever end but life is a bitch.
"I'm going to miss you girls so much" Mum said smiling at us.
"I will miss you too Mummy" I said squeezing her hand a bit.
After breakfast, we had a sad farewell because Mum was going to work and she wouldn't be around when we leave for Atlanta so we had to say our goodbyes now. After Mum left, Rory and I decided to check our bags one last time in order to be sure that we weren't forgetting anything. After that we took pictures and videos that we posted on Instagram and TicTok. We lounged around until it was 11:10am and we decided it was time to go. We went to our rooms, grabbed our bags and brought them downstairs for them to be loaded in the car trunk by the driver Paul. I called Mum to let her know that we were leaving already and we wished us a safe journey. We got into the car and we're on our way to the airport. The car ride was quite as Rory and I just took in the scenery of New York one last time before we leave.
When we got to the airport, we got down from the car and walked towards the plane where Uncle Terry was already waiting for us while our bags were being loaded into the plane.
"Good morning Uncle Terry" I said hugging him with a smile on our faces.
"Morning sugar, how are you doing" he asked as we pulled away from the hug.
"Good Uncle Terry. This is Aurora. Mum just adopted her. Rory this is Uncle Terry, Mum's close friend" I said introducing Rory to Uncle Terry.
"Morning sir" Rory greeted Uncle Terry in a polite manner.
"Morning dear. How are you" he said hugging her which surprised Rory before pulling away with a smile.
"Am great and you sir" she replied smiling at him too.
"Am good. Are you guys ready for the trip back" he asked
"Yes. I guess" Rory and I replied respectively before boarding the plane.
2 Hours Later.......
Landing in Atlanta was refreshing. I was happy to be back because I really missed everyone here especially the gang. Rory and I got down from the plane and got into the car that was waiting for us.
When we got home, I showed Rory to her room, and we decided to freshen up before ordering some lunch. I went to my room, dropped my bags at the door and threw my purse and myself on my bed. I quickly sent Andy a text that I was back in Atlanta and that I will see her tomorrow at school before going into my bathroom for a warm shower which I really needed because my muscles ached a lot.
After my shower, I got dressed in some comfy outfit and braided my hair before going downstairs to wait for Rory who hadn't come down before ordering lunch. When Rory finally came down stairs, I quickly ordered us some pizza for lunch while Rory picked on a movie for us to watch.
"And done. Just ordered the pizza. Should be here in a few minutes" I said setting my phone aside.
"Okay. Great cause I am starving. Anyway, pick one Snyder's cut or Endgame" she asked turning around to face me.
"Ummmmmmmmmmm, Snyder's cut, then, Endgame. You know we should definitely binge watch the entire Avengers soon" I replied feeling giddy because I loved both movies. They are some of my favorite movies.
"Good choice. I was going to do the same anyway. We definitely need to watch the Avengers" she said chuckling as she played Snyder's cut. Few minutes into the movie, the gate buzzer rang signaling that the pizza delivery guy was here, so I buzzed him in and grabbed some money from the back of my phone pouch. I walked out the front door to see the pizza guy pulling up, he handed the pizza to me and I paid him. I made sure he was off our property before going to join Rory in the living. I set the pizza down on the table in the living room and went to lock the gates from the control panel. After that, I rejoined Rory in the living, to see her already devouring a slice of pizza.
"Hey, you were supposed to wait for me" I said quickly grabbed a slice for myself.
"Sorry, I got too hungry" she said smiling sheepishly. We enjoyed the pizza while watching the movies. By the time we were done with the movie, it was 5:35pm, Rory and I decided to fix ourselves some dinner in the kitchen where we ended up discovering that we had to go grocery shopping because we discovered that there was no edible food in this house, most of them were expired. So we put on our shoes, grabbed our wallet and phones before heading to the kitchen to grab a car key. After grabbing a random key, we went to the garage. I unlocked the car to know which car I picked and it ended up being an Audi RS Q8 SUV
We got into the and drove off to the grocery store. When we got there, we got out locked the car, grab a cart and started shopping. We grabbed some pancake mix, eggs, milk, meat, juice, fruits and very we needed to survive. When we were done picking food, we pushed the cart to checkout, where our stuff was bagged, I pulled out my debit card and paid for the grocery. We grabbed our bags and walked out of the store to our car and loaded the groceries in the trunk of the car. After that we got into the car and drove off, we stopped by a Mexican restaurant and bought some takeouts for dinner before driving home.
Getting home, I parked the car in the garage before we got out and grab the groceries as well as our dinner. We went into the kitchen, set everything on the kitchen counter. We threw away the expired food, before arranging the groceries we bought. After that we ate our dinner while watching The Kardashians. When we were done with dinner, we retired for the night because we have school tomorrow and we needed our rest.
Thursday Morning...........
The next morning, I woke up pretty energetic and ready for the day. I got up from my bed and headed to the bathroom and took a warm shower to further relax my muscles. After my shower, I dried my body, put on my robe, walked out of my bathroom and into my closet, I moisturized my body along with my skincare and got dressed for the day.
After I was done getting dressed, I sat in front of my vanity and put on some makeup which I kept minimal because I was going for something more natural like a clean girl makeup look.
When I was done, I grabbed my phone, AirPods and my backpack and went downstairs to the kitchen and for the first time ever, I got ready before Rory which made me do a mini victory dance.
"Are we serving crazy for breakfast" Rory said suddenly which made me jump in fright. Rory was dressed and ready for school and she looked like a badass.
"Girl, you gave me the fright of the year. And I was doing a victory dance because for the first time ever, I got ready before you" I said smiling cheekily to which she laughed out loud.
"What is for breakfast babe" she said setting her bag down on the counter before taking a seat.
"I was thinking, maybe, some waffles and strawberries. What do you think" I said getting the ingredients out for the waffles.
"Sounds delicious" she said getting up from her seat to grab the strawberries to help out.
I mixed the ingredients in a bowl and heated up the waffles making while Rory was cutting the strawberries. When I was done making the waffles, I put them in a plates for us while Andy put the strawberries on the side of the plates.
"Orange juice or Apple juice" I asked as I opened the freezer.
"Orange juice" she answered grabbing some cutleries for the both of us and putting our plates in front of our chairs. I grabbed the juice and some glasses, I poured us some and placed the glasses beside our plates. We took our seat and dug in while going through our phones.
After we were done with breakfast, I placed our dirty dishes in the dishwasher while Rory went to pick our car for the day. When we were done, we locked all the doors before we grabbed our bags and went to the garage, the car Rory picked ended up being one of my favorite car; a 2021 Bentley Bentayga.
We got into the car and drove off, once we were out of the compound, Rory used my phone to locked the houses. We stopped for some coffee on our way to school. Before we got to school, Andy texted me saying that they were already in school and were waiting for me and that Jace was getting impatient. When Rory read out the messages, it made us laugh.
"I hope you remember our cover story" I asked Andy on our way to school.
"Yes I do. I'm your cousin and I lost my family. Mama Rose and you are my only family left in the world. So Mama Rose decided it was best to adopt me. See I remember. Happy" she said rolling her eyes at me.
"Yes I am happy that you remember. Because Mom already told that story to Jace's father so our story needs to be the same so they won't get suspicious of us or anything. We have to be careful" I said shifting gears.
On our way to school, Rory and I stopped for some coffee well I need some coffee to help me get through the day. My system needed a jumpstart. Few minutes later, I drove into campus, it was quite easy to spot the crew because Jace was pacing around impatiently. I parked my car beside theirs. Jace came to the driver's side looking pissed, so I took my sweet time in turning off the car, I touched up makeup, I could see he was getting pissed but thank the goddess for tinted windows, he couldn't see me. I saw Andy, Aiden and Mason silently laughing at the situation. Rory and I grabbed our coffee and dipped on it.
"Why are you torturing him further" Rory asked smiling at the situation with her cup to her face.
"It's fun seeing him all riled up and sexy too" I said grabbed my phone and with my coffee still in hand.
"Come let me introduce you to the crew" I said unlocking the car and getting down. Immediately Jace drew me into his arms and buried his face in my neck, I was quite wrapped around his scent until I heard a low growl which made me jump in alert. I quickly moved to Rory side to make sure she was okay. Because Rory was my first priority. When I got to Rory, I noticed she was frozen, her eyes looking straight at something or someone in shock and disbelief.
"Mate" I head a voice say which made me turn around to see the shock of my life.
Like my life couldn't get any worse.
