Angel's POV
My Angel side is a part of me, I never reveal. I hardly let my wings out, I hardly even let Elina(My Angel side) out or show herself because it was safer that way, so there have been no cases of my secret been revealed. I have avoided such situations. I only flew maybe once or twice in 2-3 months and in safe and restricted areas far away from human and supernatural civilization. Losing my temper is a situation that hardly takes place, it's almost like Elian's temper or anger, we hardly lose control. We hardly get angry. Whenever Elina gets angry. I have to let her out, allow her to fly in order to relieve some tension which was what I had to do today. I just never expected someone to be around this area or be in this part of the woods at this time. I never anyone to fine out about my secret most especially someone I can't get rid of. Someone I hold dear. Someone so close to my heart. Someone who means a lot to me. Someone I cherish so much.
I was confused and scared at the same time. Don't forget to add in shock cause I didn't know what to do. How am going to explain everything without losing everything. How was I going to let this person know that they had to betray their pack in order to keep my secret. I never expected this. I never wanted it to happen. I never wanted her to find out. How will explain the situation to her. How will I stop her from exposing my secret and I can't just lock in my basement until further notice that will make it worse. How will I stop her from telling her family about me. How will I stop my best friend from ruining everything for me. How will I stop ANDY from telling everyone what she found out.
"Wh-What are you" she said shaking in her boots.
"Calm down Andy. I-" I started saying but was cut off by Andy.
" What the hell are you" she asked again getting in a defensive position like I was going to attack her which I wasn't.
"I can explain Andy. Just don't mindlink anyone. Let's go to my house and I will tell you everything" I said cause it's not so safe revealing something as serous as this in the open.
"How am I sure you won't kill to keep your secret" she snapped at me and I flinched at her choice of words. Cause it kind of hurt.
"Andy, I can't and won't hurt you or kill you. I swear on my mother's life. You are my best friend and only friend and I love you. So please for old times sake, follow me to my house and I will explain everything" I pleaded softly and walked ahead of her as a sign that I don't plan on doing anything to her.
"Okay. I will follow you in my car" she said following behind me as we walked out of the forest to where we parked our cars. We got into our cars and drove off towards my house with me in front, leading the way.
By the time we got to my house, I was slightly exhausted from all the flying and I was in dire need of some cold drink. So I went into the kitchen with Andy trailing behind me. I threw my car keys and house keys on the counter, grabbed a jug of apple juice from the fringe as well as two cups from the cupboard and poured Andy and I some apple juice. I pushed a glass of juice towards Andy who was already sitting at the counter but she declined eyeing me and the juice suspiciously and I smiled amused by her actions before taking a gulp of my juice. I sat in front of her mentally preparing myself for her questions.
"Okay. Ask me anything, I promise to answer truthfully" I said taking a sip of my juice.
" What are you" Andy asked rigidly as if waiting for me to attack her which still hurt
"I'm an hybrid. Half Angel and half wolf" I said placing my elbows on the counter and resting my chin on my hand.
"How is that even possible. It has never been heard of. It's an abomination. And Angels are almost extinct" she said in a doubtful tone.
"I know. And hybrids are possible just never done. Angel's are not almost extinct, they just like to keep their existence secret with good reason" I said taking another sip of my juice.
"How do you exist then. If I can recall correctly both your parents are werewolves" she said
"I never told you anything about my my dad except that he was killed" I said with my brows raised in suspicion.
"I read your file. Pack business" she said shrugging her shoulders.
"Okay. Like you said both my parents are wolves, which is true. Me being an hybrid is a curse. A generational curse passed down to me from generations although I see it as a blessing instead" I said finishing my juice, got up from my seat, went to the sink, washed my glass and keep it in the cupboard.
"Curse?? What do you mean 'curse'?" She said with voice dripping with curiosity. I moved to where my bag was and grabbed my phone from inside it.
"Let me tell you a story. Many years ago, there was a young woman named Angelica. She was so beautiful it got everyone jealous and envious of her. She lived peaceful with her parent, never had any issues. A typical good girl. When Angelica was of age to find her mate, she discovered she was mated to an Alpha named Hermès but he was already betrothed to a woman named Aria because he had lost all hope of finding his mate and his pack needed a Luna. When Hermès found out Angelica was his mate, he was quick to let Aria go and was delighted to be with his mate and Angelica was simply happy to have found her soulmate, I mean which girl wouldn't be happy to fine her mate. But Aria, Hermès' betrothed was not happy about it because she had rejected her mate just so she could be Luna. But she was mostly angry at Angelica and she wanted Angelica gone. But everyone loved Angelica and knew their story and it would be impossible to kill Angelica with having fingers pointed her way. So she went in search of the most powerful and darkest witch of that time, Liana. And she decided that if she couldn't kill Angelica, that she would love it if everyone hated Angelica so much that way she can become everyone's favorite again including Hermès. So Liana constructed a plan that the best way to get everyone to hate Angelica was to make her an abomination which is frowned upon and rejected by all. So they did and inflicted the curse on Angelica, giving her the powers of an Angel. When everyone including Hermès found out what had happened to Angelica, Hermès was quick to reject her leaving her heartbroken and the counsel decided to kill her for being an abomination but Angelica's angel side lost control and killed more than half the counsel. It is know as one of the greatest massacre in supernatural history. Angelica was then restrained and tortured because the rest of the counsel were scared of what she could do, they banished her. Angelica accepted Hermès rejection, said goodbye to her parents and left. Angelica travelled for years alone, living in pain and sadness until she couldn't take it anymore. She didn't want her angel side, she wanted to be happy even if it was without her mate. So she decided to go in search of a cure. She travelled for months in search of a witch to help her out until she finally found one, her name was Mira, Liana's sister but a good witch almost as strong as Liana but Liana practiced dark magic. But Mira couldn't find a way to remove the angel side from Angelica cause dark magic was used and she doesn't practice dark magic. All she could do was transfer it down Angelica's generation but it had to be a first child and a female child seeing as Angelica was female and the first child of her parents and Angelica agreed for the curse to skip her to go down generations. But the curse skipped a lot of generations because there was no first born female child. Angelica got married to a wolf whose mate died and they had a son and males kept coming first until me and my dad had no idea of the curse. So after my dad was killed in front of me, my angel side made it's first appearance and killed the rogue in a fit of rage. My mom and I then moved to New York although we were still part of the pack. My mom found a witch who then explained everything to us. She said some other stuff I didn't pay attention to." I narrated to her before taking a deep breath when I was done.
"So you are cursed?" She said
"Yes but I see it as a blessing but although I see it as a blessing, a huge problem arose" I said letting out a sigh
"What problem?" Andy asked concerned
" After my Angel said made an appearance the day my dad side. Word got out to the rouge king Ryker and let's just say he is in search of me but it doesn't know what I look like" I said solemnly
"So that's the reason for the recent massacres we have been hearing about" she said with a frown on her face
"Yes but you cannot tell anyone cause if Ryker finds me. I don't know what will happen and he might end up killing everyone including Jason and I can't risk that" I said
"But you can tell Jason, am sure he will understand" she said with a bit of doubt slipping out and am not sure she noticed
" People like me are frowned upon. I will be dead before I know or with Ryker. So you can't tell anyone" I pleaded.
"Fine. I will keep your secret if you show what you can do" she said smiling at me with enthusiasm. I laugh amused
"Well I can fly as you saw and I have healing powers, telekinesis, invisibility and I can calm people down too" I said listing a few
"Wow. That's cool. How about we have that sleepover. I mean it's late, we would just go to school together" she suggested with a smile on her face. I looked outside and saw it was really late. I didn't even notice time had gone by so fast.
"That will be cool. I just have to call my Mom and let her know the recent developments. How about we order pizza" I said grabbing my phone.
"Pizza will be good right now. Then we can watch this new movie I heard about 'The Protege" She said as I ordered some pizza.
"Sounds like a cool movie and after that we definitely have to watch the Eternals" I said excited
"And the new Spider-Man". She added
"Definitely" I said giggled.
Before the pizza got her we decided to use the living as our base. So we moved the couches and placed a lot of blankets on the floor until it was fluffy, then we grabbed pillows and duvets. Few minutes before the pizza got here, I decided to call my mom and fill her in on everything and left Andy in the living room. I called and explained everything to her, at first she was furious but she totally understood that it wasn't my fault and decided that since I trust Andy and she(my mom) trusts me that she too will trust Andy so there was no problem from that area. When I was through with the call, I went downstairs and saw that the pizza was already here. So Andy and I ate the pizza while sipping on some juice and watching the Protege which is a good movie by the way. When we were through with our food in the middle of the movie, we decided to paused the movie and shower. When we are done showering, we got dressed in pjs and wore some fluffy slippers.
We went downstairs and continued the movie while I went to grab some snacks which consisted of chips, chocolates and drinks.
After we finished the Protege, we watched the Eternals and Spider- man. Let's just say we had the best sleepover ever and we were both content right before we fell asleep although our phone were buzzing with messages which we ignored because we wanted a we time without the boys interrupting. For me, it felt good to have someone to share everything with. Andy made me promise to show her how my powers work sometime which I was okay with. But all these were the calm before the storm.
