Chapter 20 - Daji

Excited, he glanced at his own stats to see just how he had been affected as well.

As suspected, the results were favorable. His stat bar showed a very impressive growth. Rachel's pussy was the definition of a miracle. She was reponsible for bringing him to an impressive 10. Before now, he thought this would have been considered impossible from one single sexual encounter with a low level woman. But considering that a full stat bar was at 99, the fact that Rachel had straight up raised him to a 10 was nothing short of an anomaly.

Alex was still flabbergasted, but it did not last for long. To his greatest surprise, the upsurge in the stats bar disappeared almost as quickly as it had appeared.

If he had not been of a calm disposition, he would have exclaimed in infuriation. What in the hell was that?! he thought. It had been the cruelest tease. It did not make any sense whatsoever. Alex mind turned inside out, trying to find a logical explanation for the reason behind all this.

Suddenly, with the clarity of the morning sun in the summer, it dawned on him. He should have known sooner from the first time he sensed that strange power within her- Rachel was also a god!

Well, not in the complete sense. It looked like Rachel was as much as a god as Alex currently was. One of the exiled. she aapeared to belong to the unenviable list of relegated gods who had been banished to the mortal realm for one reason or the other. His mind began to cross-reference all the possible suspects he knew who fitted this profile. He combed his mental archives and arrived at the answer in less than a second.

Alex had a real eureka moment when he figured out who this goddess was.

'Of course!' Alex thought to himself. Who else could it be but the legendary fox-fairy whose stories formed the founding blocks of ancient folklore.

It was none other than the Nine Tails fox herself- DAJI the terrible.

To the bulk of humanity, she was seen as a seductive fox spirit that plagued men with insatiable desires. In folklore, she was as evasive and as foxy as they come. When she showed herself in her human form, she usually appeared as a graceful, slender beautiful woman with an inexplicable sexual energy about her. But none of the human stories did her real justice. She was often portrayed as a fleeting, restless fox spirit with no real ambitions.

As citizen of the cosmic realm who knew the truth, Alex knew firsthand that the stories could not have been farther from the truth. The Nine Tails fox spirit had thrived in the cosmic realm. She had been the object of so many's desire. But overtime, this attention got to her head and made her conceited. After several million years of existence, she came to realize that she could get whomever she wanted.

So, the fox spirit decided to leave the small fish and make a bold power move that would increase her status above all the other gods. Daji set her sights on the Emperor of the gods and sought to seduce him. Alex was not sure if she had succeded back then, but he strongly suspected that the Emperor had had his way with her for one full cosmic night (the equivalent of five years in the human world.)

But that was all in the past. Right now, Alex was more worried about what he had done. His semen was awfully potent. So, depending on how things would play out, it might actually turn out to be that Alex had unwillingly played a part in the awakening of a very dreadful goddess.

But the more he thought about it, the less likely it seemed. His semen (as a catalyst to her awakening) was not exactly a one hundred percent guarantee. Ultimately, the bulk of the weight lied within the potency her own ability.

Of course, the thought of using her to recover his god powers crossed his mind. But almost immediately, he could feel his inner self recoil at the thought. The reaction was instinctive, almost primal. And it actually made sense. She might have looked like a puny god (or at best, a really hot human) with a tiny streak of power left, but the fact was the Nine Tails fox was a more ancient god who could be traced back to the deathless past. Alex was definitely not a match for her.

On the grand scheme of things, the fox spirit was more powerful than the god of sex.

Alex took one long look at her sleeping form and swallowed. It had been a real close one. He knew there was a reason why he had not been remotely attracted to her from the moment he had met her. All his instincts had been to avoid her. Although, in retrospect, that might have been because his mind was fixated on his one million dollar deposit. Still, it made sense.

Alex now realized that if he had actually ended up using her, and she awakened to that knowledge, there was no doubt that it would have made his life on earth inherently more difficult than it already was. He had escaped the animosity of an elder god once before. He definitely did not need that kind of heat here on earth.

Having come to the full knowledge of what had gone down, Alex saw no need to hang on any more. The goddess was knocked out cold. She looked like she would be like that for another couple of hours. So, Alex decided it was in his best interest to bail.

Slipping out of bed with the stealth of a hooker, he gently tip toed his way around the room to where his clothes were. His wound had healed up nicely. Although that quick miraculous healing was nothing short of a medical anomaly, Alex was mildly annoyed that it had taken that long. In his true god form, he would have been completely invulnerable and unstoppable. But because of a measely bullet wound, he had been knocked out for almost a whole day.

After getting dressed (as quickly and as quietly as he could), very gently, he took hold of the door handle and squeezed. There was an uncomfortable creak. He cocked his head in the direction of the bed, Daji had not even stirred.

He heaved a sigh of relief and pulled. It took less than three seconds for him to disappear behind the door. The abode looked like some kind of hide out. But it was desgined to keep people out, and not the other way around. So, Alex did not waste time in finding the exit. However, on his way out, the goddess of luck decided to give him a second shot at fortune. He came upon a golden opportunity- literally.

In the living room, scattered in disarray was what appeared to be the stolen of the robbers. The criminals had not just plundered the cash stash of the bank. Cleverly, they had chosen to diversify their loot, and made away with several stunning pieces of hot jewellry. Gold was stored up in a pile at one end of the room. In the middle of the living room were the bags of cash. It all looked to good to be true.

Alex was a god, and money did not freak him as much as it did others humans (and some gods apparently.) But knowing just how much pain it would cause the robbers if he took some, he convinced himself it was worth the pleasure. As Alex proceeded with the intention of plundering the plunderers, he decided he was not going to take some any more- he was going to take everything and leave them peniless.

Only the thought of it made him feel good. Thankfully, there was an old grandfather clock in the corner of the room. It was just 2am.

Alex proceeded to rob the robers blind. When he was done packing, he left as quietly as the morning breeze. He wished he could be there the following morning when the criminals awakened. Although it seemed a tad bit petty, Alex lsuted after the feelings of despair and hopelessness that would come upon the entire robbers. It would definitely be something worth seeing.

He took in a fresh breath of air as he melted into the darkness. Leaving his adversaries behind him with nothing but the wounds he had given them, Alex could not help but feel like all of this was simply fate running its course. It was not like he deserved this fortune, but he knew they did not either. And that for him, was more than enough.
