I let my energy build, not spreading it out, just making it thicker, heavier, and increasing the molecule speed to raise the temperature. I heard the other prisoners whimper and my wolf growled behind her barrier. I couldn't help but smile, so often I was controlled, hiding, limiting my energy use. It was usually put to use when I was healing or protecting. A chance to attack, to feel that fear, to pull at the part of my energy that craved being let out.
"I wasn't looking for anyone." The man said, but his eyes were unblinking, his voice constant, he was trying to avoid showing emotion. Who was he? He didn't seem familiar, in appearance or energy.
