Two week passed by as she indulged herself in the world of books. She learned a lot of things about their world.
What shocked her most was that once they used to live with humans. Like they coexisted together. Due to power and greediness war broke out between these beings and humans. At first the beings made humans there slaves. Years humans have invented new technology to fight against them. Soon the humans became as powerful as the beings. Again the war broke out.
At the end they came to a treaty that the beings would leave their human world and humans can live there peacefully. The mages among the beings created a parallel world that was soon occupied by the beings.
These beings are of different kinds demons, vampires, werewolf, elves, fairies, mages, wizards etc but each lives on their own territory. Even Though they marry within different kinds, most of them now have a normal life like humans.
They have their own family, childrens, work, passion and hobbies. They don't have war between each other. All of them live in peace.
They even have a parliament along with monarchy. But the monarchy is much more powerful and strong. Beings also like monarchy over parliament. They always have the best interests and policies for them.
But what was more interesting was that they lived for a long time. Like a really long time. Their teenage years only start at the age of 500 years old.
As she became curious she asked Xavier once they ran into eachother.
How old are you?" She asked
He narrowed his eyes and looked at her.
He clicked his toungue and said
Do you want my real age or human age?"
Your. Real. Age" she said emphasizing each word.
"972, but this is considered like late twenties according to your world calculation." She gasped hearing it.
"So what type of being are you?" she asked after she recovered from her shock.
Being'' he asked confused
"Like are you a demon, vampire..? What are you?"
"Ohh…. Actually I am a mix of sixty percent elves, and the rest of witches."
She studied his features. His dark inky eyes that would make anyone trapped into it. His dark hair looked smooth. His beige tone made him more alluring. His most charm was his smile and his friendly attitude. She was sure that he was popular among the opposite gender.
From what humans believe elves were the most beautiful creatures now she can clarify it. It was the truth. They were really beautiful.
Her mind wandered to everyone she had met or seen as they passed by. They all were beautiful in one or other way.
"So what powers do you have? Do you use it always"
"I have a lot of powers, but I like to use my brains more," he said.
Before she could continue he went out as he said he was a little busy.
She wanted to ask what kind and how old was Dylan. He was more reserved than Xavier who always talked to her with a smile. He felt Xavier was just like Aaron. There were a lot of characters similar to each other. But the only thing was, they both hate each other. Whenever they cross paths they say something to each other that makes both of them vexed.
She hadn't met Dylan after that day. Not even crossed paths with each other. She felt like he was avoiding her own purpose. But there was no reason for it. Maybe she was just being delusional.
She also read about the humans that live here. Some of them have said that they have a more peaceful life here than in the human world. Some even marry the beings and have their own family.
What made her truly fascinating was about the mates, beings can find out their mates when they first meet them. The connection is so incredible and they couldn't oppose it. It was an involuntary process, they couldn't even know it was coming. It just happened when they met each other.
If they have to break the connection, then there is nothing more painful than that. They have to go through a lot of physical pain along with the emotional pain.
That made her think that it was better to be a human.
On the power hierarchy the most powerful were demons followed by elves then witches then mages or sorcerers then the rest follows. But the mixed ones or half as they say are more powerful than the pure ones. They have all the power of the both kinds making them more powerful.
She knew Xavier was a powerful being, but she was more curious about what Dylan was. Maybe she will find out about it later. Anyways they will meet tomorrow as they have to discuss about the agreement. She thought she would ask him when they meet.
