On the way home, Yang Ping was overflowing with excitement. He hadn't anticipated happiness would come this quickly. He felt unprepared.
They bought some groceries at the supermarket in their community. Once home, Yang Ping helped Xiao Su to carefully sit down on the sofa.
Xiao Su was bemused. She had just become pregnant; surely, there was no need for such caution.
"Can you repeat the news you told me earlier?"
Yang Ping wanted to confirm it, as he was too excited and needed to be sure again.
Xiao Su looked at Yang Ping's innocent expression and laughed softly: "I've already had a blood test and checked my HCG level. In a few days, I plan to have a surface ultrasound."
"I can't believe we hit the jackpot. We're quite efficient." Yang Ping murmured.
