Han Jun was one of the only three D-tier ability users in this tournament. He inevitably became the center of attention and many spectators turned their heads when he got on stage.

Qin Feng walked out from the opposite of the ring after him.

Shang Han had a bad feeling about it. "Just say it. What's the odd?"

"Six… sixty-four!"

Shang Han almost fainted.

"How dumb are you to place such a high betting odd on Qin Feng?" Shang Han scolded.

"Regent, I didn't… I didn't know that he is that strong! The North Sea team always sat at the bottom in previous years. No matter how good he is, there's no way I could imagine him beating a D-tier!"

Everyone now had their eyes fixed on Qin Feng. His internal force shield was no doubt sturdy. But they were not convinced just yet. They were waiting for him to showcase his attack.

Doubt and anxiousness began to seep into Han Jun's angry mind. Judging by Qin Feng's unbreakable internal force shield, Han Jun knew that his opponent possessed enormous internal strength. He would not last a single attack.

Han Jun slightly regretted his actions now.

Han Jun executed the two abilities to enhance his speed and attack.

But Qin Feng now claimed he was here wholeheartedly for the competition.

"What's the point of you participating in this tournament? You are just putting yourself in the center of attention." Shang Han said.

At first, Qin Feng's purpose here was to see whether there would be any potential prodigies that he could recruit under his wing.

He did not mind which position he ended up in the tournament.

After handling the crew's greed for the wyvern blood, Qin Feng asked Bai Li to put the rest of the wyvern blood and the wyvern head into her pocket dimension.

It was then the crew started to observe Bai Li.

"I didn't know Ms Bai was so strong!" Shang Han said curiously. She took a good look at Bai Li with a keen interest.

In response, Bai Li beamed up an exquisite smile at her.

"Oh, it's nothing. I have a God Weapon with me. That schmuck Guang Wei chased me and Qin Feng out because of this baby!"

Bai Li presented Shang Han her spatial whip. The weapon had a silver glow on it, showing its qualities in dimension manipulation.

Even though she had read about it from Yuan Hao's report, this was the first time Shang Han got to witness the whip's powers. She could now finally understand why Guang Wei did what he did.

Thus, to her ears, Shang Han felt that Bai Li's words had a thread of cautious hostility, seemingly testing to see if she would be a threat to her and Qin Feng.

However, unbeknownst to Shang Han, Bai Li was merely trying to shift Shang Han's attention away from her by presenting the weapon.

And in a way, she was successful in doing so.

As for the others, they had all heard of Qin Feng's fame and reputation. Yet now, they saw that he also had a girlfriend who was as beautiful as a goddess, making them even more envious of him.

Chapter 516: The Greedy Vixen

"Since this is a God Weapon that could manipulate dimensions, I wonder if… if this thing can seal this whole place up? If the rift in Far Woodland is gone, that would mean we're all safe, right?" the Wood ability user asked.

As soon as everyone heard this, they all looked at Bai Li expectantly. Their hearts started to beat fast.

This ability user was right. In fact, his idea was even better than what Shang Han had in mind!

If they could seal up this rift, would that mean that they could also do the same to the other rifts too?

If this could be done, that would mean planet Earth could finally return to its former peaceful state and not be invaded by all kinds of dimensions.

As everyone was excited by the idea, Bai Li was communicating with Qin Feng using her consciousness.

"Should I tell them?"

"Do you think you can fix this place up when the dimensional energy is so volatile here? Can you seal it?"

Their communication was done very quickly—there was no need for speech as they were communicating telepathically. The whole conversation was done in the blink of an eye.

To the others, it seemed like all Bai Li did was glance around briefly before realizing something and looked back at them. Bai Li announced loudly in an exaggerated tone, "After I've acquired this God Weapon, I've spent a lot of time researching it. So, I am quite confident in my skills in regards to dimensions. In fact, it is not an exaggeration to say that I'm now a Master of Dimensions!"

Hearing this, even Shang Han got excited. Ignoring her reputation as an A-tier aptitude user, her attitude toward Bai Li was now more humbling, "Indeed, Mistress Bai. We've seen what you could do earlier. We are so amazed!"

Bai Li was able to slay a B-tier beast king in less than a second. This was more than enough to prove to them that she was indeed incredibly capable in manipulating dimensions.

Bai Li nodded to Shang Han. "Far Woodland's situation here is far more complicated than the others. In fact, the place is like a massive void… let's say that Earth is a Secret Territory itself. Then, the whole place should be round in shape, right? However, in comparison, Far Woodland isn't entirely round in shape. It has a massive whole that is knotted firmly with another whole dimension!"

"Even though the area inside the void is constantly fixing itself, the area outside is always tearing itself apart. That is why the size of the rift keeps changing in size!"

Everyone nodded their heads after hearing this. Although they too had some understanding behind the workings of dimensional runes, no one was entirely sure of how the whole thing worked. Thus, to them, Bai Li's understanding of the art was rather uniquely fascinating to them.

"Then, is there a way to fix the void?" Shang Han asked in a concerned tone.

Bai Li answered, "I can fix the region and maintain it. However, we don't have the dimensional rune for this place. The runes have been lost for a long time now. I'm not a dimensional aptitude user myself, so it's quite impossible for me to seal the place up with the whip alone."

Bai Li completely denied that she could seal up the unknown region. Shang Han and the others did not doubt her at all.

Even though they were a little disappointed in hearing this, they felt that this could not be helped. The task was too phenomenally difficult anyway. If Bai Li could indeed fix all the dimensional rifts, this would be astonishing news to the whole world! This would mean that she could save the entire human race!

This was also why Qin Feng did not want to expose Bai Li's ability to anyone before she had a full grasp of her abilities.

Nonetheless, Qin Feng also did not intend to not do anything either.

After seeing everyone's obvious disappointment, Bai Li beamed up with a sly smile, "However, I've been to the Northern Abyss. This whole place is maintained fairly well. I think I can morph Far Woodland into something similar to the Northern Abyss. However, this would mean that we'll need to expand the Unknown Region to three times larger than what it is now."

Making the region larger would make it much easier for Bai Li.

After hearing this, Shang Han's eyes widened with joy. "Mistress Bai, please go ahead and make it into an Unknown Region similar to the Northern Abyss. If you need anything, just say the word. The entire northern Human Alliance would do everything to support you!"

Bai Li nodded. "Alright, if that's the case, I'd like to have 180 C-tier beast emperor crystal cores and 50 B-tier beast emperor crystal cores. Oh, and also I'd like an A-tier… hmff mmfffff!!"

Qin Feng quickly put a hand on Bai Li's mouth to stop her from saying further.

Wow… this greedy little vixen… she had the guts to ask for so many things in return!

Still, there was no way Qin Feng could allow Bai Li to stabilize the rift completely. If she did that, there was no way he could explain the need for the crystal cores Bai Li asked for earlier.

Chapter 517: Unexpected Beastly Feast

Regardless, they were able to get some unexpected benefits from this expedition. At the very least, they were able to secure some snacks for Bai Li!

Qin Feng suggested that the crew head back to avoid unexpected complications. The others agreed too—they understood that Bai Li did not seem to think too highly of them.

Even though they felt disgraced, there was nothing they could do other than acknowledge it. It was true, after all, that Qin Feng was so much more powerful than them!

After they had gone back via the hover copter, the clock had already struck 6 o'clock in the evening. The final round of the Prodigy Tournament was now probably over too.

It would seem that luck was also part of the equation in winning in the tournament.

Qin Feng had given Jin Fei and Zhou Hao a lot of resources. If both of them trained day and night after this, it was a matter of time before they ascended to D-tiers.

Qin Feng took a good glance at the menu. Beihua was a city that had been established for nearly 200 years, so it had quite a lot to offer.

Even though there were a lot of people redeeming items constantly, their warehouse would still have enough to restock everything.

Their resources were seemingly endless as a result of accumulating them up consistently in the last 200 years.

According to the rate in Beihua City, a B-tier ultra beast would net him 50 points, beast soldier 500 points, beast general 5000 points, and beast king 50,000 points. Besides, Shang Han agreed to a double-rate boost before venturing into Far Woodland.

So now, even though Qin Feng had only 40,000 points with him, Bai Li had over 100,000 points herself!

Shang Han did not dare to take away Bai Li's points earlier since she needed her help in stabilizing the rift.

As such, Qin Feng summoned Bai Li over to redeem the Fire Wall ability.

Then, Qin Feng took a look at the Dark-type abilities… and regretfully, there was no Dark Wall on the list.

Still, this was expected. Dark-type ability was rare. It was quite difficult to find a Dark-type or Light-type ability user in the world after all.

Someone was knocking on the door.

It was a ten-meter long fire-type beast skin.

The Pyric Wyvern's head was cut down as soon as it poked its head out to the other side. From the size of the giant head, it was not hard for one to imagine just how gigantic its body was—it was probably as huge as a mountain!

The blood that was spilling everywhere from its now cleanly cut neck had a lot of benefits not only for humans but also to ultra beasts.

Thus, right now there was a huge crowd of monsters surrounding the Pyric Wyvern's corpse—they were all trying to get a bite of the beast king's flesh.

After gulping the wyvern's meat down, the ultra beasts began to mutate and they became stronger!

As the smell of blood fumed in the air, a herd of powerful Bloodfrenzy Bulls rushed over to the wyvern's corpse.

Chapter 518: Crisis At The Border

These Bloodfrenzy Bulls had incredible strength and traveled in herds. They quickly drove away lower level ultra beasts that wandered nearby, wanting to enjoy the food for themselves.

But soon, a pride of C3-tier Luminous Lions stepped onto the scene. These lions stood on top of the food chain, and even the Bloodfrenzy Bulls were considered as their prey.

As such, the bulls could only abandon their meal and scatter!

A C-tier Bloodfrenzy Bull king took the lead and charged right into the spatial rift while the others stampeded behind it to follow suit.

The lions ignored the delicious looking bulls and tore into the Pyric Wyvern.

Then, a venture of large flaming birds appeared to drive the lions away.

Most of these ultra beasts had passed through the spatial rift in the Far Woodland.

On Earth, the cracks deep underground were getting overwhelmed and started to get bigger and bigger.

The rift was unstable, as more and more ultra beasts rushed through it started to grow in size.

Eventually, larger ultra beasts began to pull themselves out of the rift.

These ultra beasts came in all manner of freakish forms that went against comprehensible geometry but they were incredibly powerful. As they entered Earth, the rift was split open even further in their wake.

The weakest among these ultra beasts were C2 tier and even more powerful ultra beasts continued to pour from the rift.

A beast wave had unexpectedly broken out while everyone was underprepared!

The Far Woodland rift was like a large mouth that could not stop vomiting, the ultra beast numbers continued to rise as they spread out in all directions.

The powerful ultra beasts drove away the weaker ones before extending outward. Now, they had come to this strange world not necessarily to seek its destruction but to find food.

When there were not enough things for them to hunt down, they would naturally start viewing humanity as a snack as well.

While Qin Feng had been sleeping soundly, a shrill alarm started to sound at 4 o'clock in the morning and spread throughout the city.

"Beep beep! Attention all aptitude users. A beast wave has occurred in the Far Woodland. Please go there immediately!"

Qin Feng was startled and immediately got out of bed. Bai Li did the same, waking up as well.

Bai Li had gotten used to this kind of atmosphere due to her familiarity with the human lifestyle, even though these kinds of threats did not truly worry her!

"Let's go!"

Qin Feng quickly pulled on his combat uniform while Bai Li slipped into an easy-to-wear dress and jumped out of the window along with Qin Feng.

The two of them instantly landed on the roof of the building next to the hotel.

"Beep beep! The air ban has been lifted. Requesting all hover copter owners to arrive as soon as possible!"

Qin Feng opened up a space and pulled out the Sky Dweller.

At this time, Beihua City was still bustling despite the early morning!

Beihua City was huge and the aptitude users in it were also the pinnacle of the Northern Territory. It was not a safe place, but it was able to be established thanks to the protection of these aptitude users.

They were all heroes, brave warriors in their own right.

One by one, they quickly mobilized and hopped onto rooftops.

However, not all of them had hover copters.

Bai Li looked at the other buttons in the hover copter's cockpit and managed to understand the critical situation, pressing the button that lowered the ladder without a moment's hesitation.

Soon, there were aptitude users scaling the ladder.

Beihua City's sky was filled with hundreds of hover copters!

Counting the amount of people they carried, one trip to the Far Woodlands would have them drop off up to a thousand people.

Qin Feng's Sky Dweller very quickly accumulated up to twenty people, but they naturally did not have any place to sit in. Bai Li sat in the co-pilot seat while the others were in the cabin. Some people onboard came over to thank Qin Feng for the journey but were surprised to learn that he was a C-tier aptitude user.

However, their more pressing issue was the beast wave outbreak.

"Any news from the front?"

"Got it right here. Ten minutes ago there was a beast wave sighting, but it was thought to be only about a hundred or so at first and nothing worth worrying about. It started to increase again after the first one was wiped out by artillery fire. The garrison there felt that something was wrong and asked for reinforcements!"

"Increase? By how much? Don't tell me this is going to be a waste of time!"

"Fire Rocs, flying ultra beasts have appeared!"

This analysis was absolutely necessary. They were facing C-tier ultra beasts and these aptitude users were only C-tier.

They had no chance in a solo confrontation with even one of those beasts.

It was best to fight the ones they were good at and avoid any weaknesses, or they would be as good as dead!

Qin Feng stayed quiet. These ultra beasts were no match for him at all.

But with the appearance of the Fire Rocs, the drones had nowhere to hide. As self proclaimed lords of the sky, flying things naturally drew their attention and would be destroyed.

The Sky Dweller was given modifications such as an aircraft power source and technology from the Floating City After leaving Beihua City, Qin Feng kept on accelerating.

"Yo bro, this is a kickass hover copter! Is it modified?" A gunner onboard noticed his surroundings and felt like he had to ask.

"Mhmm!" Qin Feng only nodded, he did not speak due to the fact that he was piloting.

Whoosh!

Another hover copter was left behind by Qin Feng.

As they passed by, the aptitude user passengers could see the faces of the other pilots in the other hover copters from behind their reinforced glass windows.

One hover copter suddenly accelerated, as if trying to race Qin Feng.

However the gap between the two hover copters was just too big.

Qin Feng passed hover copter after hover copter, showing no signs of slowing down.

The passengers in his hover copter secretly had a refreshed feeling in their hearts. It was kind of entertaining to watch the faces of the other pilots who ate their dust, frustrated at the fact that they could not catch up.

Chapter 519: The Dazzling Sky Dweller

Swish! Swish! Swish!

One by one, the hover copters were all left behind by Qin Feng.

"Sheesh, where did this second-rate machine come from? Going at that speed is suicide!"

"How dare he overtake me? Is my title of 'Rocket King' for nothing?"

"Oi! The nerve! What? You think your machine's better than mine?"

Many of the overtaken aptitude users were actually gunners, who immediately refused to accept this defeat and began to accelerate.

But they would only end up eating Qin Feng's dust whenever they tried.

Everyone's previously grim looks began to relax a little.

The others naturally sped up to try and catch up but the hover copter was fast and the best they could do was maintain visuals on the tail end of the Sky Dweller.

The consciousness and perceptions of everyone onboard quickly spread out and soon found the target.

It was flitting about in the air ahead, below it was the Far Woodland's border wall!

All they could see in the distance was a moving black blur. When internal force or consciousness was used in their attempts, they could see that the beast wave was on the move and was attacking the walls.

The flying ultra beasts would also swoop down from the sky at any moment, one managing to scoop up a border guard from Beihua City during its diving attack!

"Aaaah!"

A despair-filled wail rose in the air.

The border guard was then quickly torn to shreds by the flying ultra beast while the plummeting scraps were snatched up by other surrounding creatures.

It was at this moment that some of the ultra beasts noticed Qin Feng's approaching Sky Dweller and immediately rushed over.

The aptitude users in his cabin started to turn pale.

"Giant Elder Eagles, C5 tier!"

Of all the present aptitude users, there were only two that were C5 tier. What was more, humans could not normally defeat ultra beasts that were the same level as they were all by themselves.

Now that twenty or so of these things were flying at them, the sense of fear overwhelmed them.

"We need to run! Turn around!" Fortunately, there were other teams behind them. As long as they could turn around and regroup for a combined attack then they still had a chance at ensuring their safety!

He did not slow down and continued forward at top speed.
