"The necklace mother gave to me is missing!" Adeline exclaimed.
"What? Are you sure?"
"Yes, Ate. I checked it this morning, but it's no longer in my container!" she's panicking.
"Where are your personal maids?"
I could see the confusion on Emily, Lileth and Rose's faces. I approached them. Venice's eyes only drifted to me shortly.
"They're the only ones who can get in here. One of them must be the thief."
"I-I can't do that!" the three almost said in unison.
Venice noticed my silence, this time, her gaze took longer, but she didn't say anything.
"One of them didn't defend herself. Maybe she's the one who stole it."
I looked at the door. The arrogant Lucian went in.
"I think my maids didn't do it. I know each of them. They won't do it," Adeline said.
"How sure are you, Adelle? The three of them have been working for you for years, yes. But how about the other one?"
