Genovi:
"I am going to make your wedding night the most amazing experience you have ever had." She whispered sensually in my ear, any doubt of wanting to marry her dissolving in seconds. I was panicking a second ago, the white tuxedo fitting me perfectly. The lilac dress shirt was a nice touch, Thomas guiding me in front of my town's elder. His wrinkled face was worn, black robes swallowing up his tiny old man body. His dark gray hair was pulled back into a ponytail, his green eyes twinkling with joy. The village's white candle sat in the middle of his podium, an ancient book sitting underneath. Music began to play, my eyes rolling as Jarod and Tamara marched down the aisle in black outfits. How fitting I thought to myself, Avalanche marching up with Sabrina on the crook of his arm. Taking their places, my breath hitched at the sight of Celeste Luna. Lilac taffeta hugged her perfect hourglass figure, flaring out by her feet. Lilac jewelry dripped off of her ears and neck, her porcelain skin looking flawless in the afternoon sun. A lilac crown sat on the bed of soft curled bouncing around her perfectly painted face, my father was giving her up. The music stopped, my father kissing her on the forehead. My mother was weeping in the front row, my father sitting down next to her. Celly stepped up across from me, tossing Sabrina the bouquet. Taking my trembling hands, tears welled up in my eyes. This time felt much better, our love was real and fated to be by the Moon Goddess. The town elder began, all of us singing the prayer to our beloved Moon Goddess. Her golden eyes shimmered with tears, shame dimming her brightness. Her hair danced in the breeze, the elder was saying something. The candle flickered to life, cheers erupting behind us. Tracing her cheek, she nuzzled into my palm.
"You may now say your vows." The elder urged politely, snapping his fingers in my face. "Did you prepare any, Miss Celeste?" Nodding her head, her hands shook violently. Holding them tighter, she cleared her throat. A soft blush rose to her cheeks, a lump forming in her throat.
"Okay." She sighed deeply, gazing lovingly into my eyes. "Novi found me up in a tree, and bothered me. He kind of just introduced himself, and I didn't think that I deserved him or anyone like him. My whole life I have been treated like trash but he saw the beauty in me. So thank you for that. I love you, and I always will. You are the key to my happiness and joy. I, Celeste Luna vow to be your faithful wife. I vow to accept all of my Luna duties." The elder slid me a black box, a band in the shape of a lilac shimmered in the light. Sliding it onto her finger, my breath hitched at her real smile. The elder turned towards me, his hand raised in my direction.
"Celly, your scent of lilacs popped into my life. Your smile could light up the whole world, the moon will never shine brighter than you." I chirped anxiously, her kind eyes watching me. "You are the light I need in my life, my one and only true love. I want to howl at every single moon with you until I turn gray. I want to hear little ones running around. I, Genovi Duvont, vow to be your lawfully wedded husband. I vow to serve as Alpha next to you." A simple navy band bounced around in her palm, her trembling fingers sliding it on. The elder cleared his throat, the book slamming shut. Raising his hands in the air, a wide grin brightened his face.
"With the powers bestowed upon me, I now pronounce you Alpha and Luna." He announced proudly, his eyes shimmering with joy. "You may now kiss the bride." My lips pressed against hers sensually, a loud crash interrupting the ceremony. The ground cracked as several rogue vampires leapt over the fence, the filthy rags they were wearing barely covering their dying gray skin. Red eyes glowed in our direction, Celly ripping off the bottom of her dress. Tamara just about had a heart attack as Celly bounded towards the bloody blood suckers, scooping up two machetes on the way. Leaping up in the air, she popped up behind a couple of them. Black blood splattered all over her face as the blades sliced their heads off. Concern flashed in my eyes, her joy at fighting scaring me. Charging after her, Tamara held me back.
"You will ruin your suit." She warned icily, my hand shoving her off of me. "Fine, go ahead." Like I needed her permission, my claws grew from my nails. Black dyed my tuxedo, flesh tearing into shreds with each strike. Golden flames devoured the machetes, another wall of vampires leaping over our walls.
"Get everyone inside!" She ordered calmly, people ditching the ceremony space. "We have this. Only come out when I tell you too." People screamed as they rushed into their homes, her ripping off her heels. Cutting a slit on both sides, she was now able to move both of her legs freely. Spinning the rusty blades in her palms, her chest rising up and down. Blood poured from her nose, blood raining down as we killed rogue after rogue. Dead bodies lay everywhere, a loud thud stiffening our bodies. An eight foot tall vampire towered over us, her body trembling with fright. Red eyes glared down at us, fresh blood dripping from the corner of its lips. Large fangs stuck out over its dry brittle lips, a growl rumbling deep within its throat.
"I am here to get revenge for my children." The black cloaked vampire thundered, cold sweat dripping off of my brow. "I am going to eat you, Golden Witch. Your great grandmother was so delicious. I bet you would taste just as great." Celly was paralyzed with fright, a spell keeping her mouth shut. Shaking her head, pain dimmed her eyes as his spell broke.
"Do you want to fight like a man, or a coward?" She taunted cruelly, blood dripping from the corner of her lips. "Or do you always act so pathetic?" The vampire was taken back by her statement, his fist slamming down on the ground. Horror widened her eyes, a large black blade appearing from the center of the Earth. Orange symbols danced up the blade, her machetes going out. Turning to run, golden water swirled around her arm. The ribbons of water formed dual golden blades half the size of his. Feeling useless, her words faded in and out as she told me to hide. The vampire swung his blade towards her head, her golden water blades blocking his attack. Wincing in pain, her wheels were turning in her head.
"I am no coward." The vampire hissed irritably, the two of them looking like flashes of light. "You have your limit, unlike me." Her eyebrow cocked, her body crashing to my feet. Cuts covered her skin, a dark grin frightening me. A battle cry made us both turn in the opposite direction, Avalanche charging at him with a golden ice blade swinging in the air. Struggling to her feet, she rushed at him. My inner wolf growled at me, a death scene flashing in my brain. Tears welled up in my eyes, Avalanche and Celly laying in pools of their blood. Something had to change, my fingers wrapping around a small rock. Tossing it in his direction, the rock smashed against his head. His red eyes turned towards me, his hands smashing them into nearby trees. Thank you for the ability to see into the future.
"Come get me!" I called out shakily, the ground shaking with every step. "Fight me like a man." Evil laughter erupted from his lips, his blade inches from my face. Laughing nervously, lava dripped onto the ground at my feet. The ground melted away, Avalanche and Celly popping up behind him. Golden water combined with golden ice, forming a single ray of energy. Leaping out of the way, ice and water blasted through his chest to the wooden gate. Dirt flew up in a cloud, the gate crashing to the ground. Triumphant smiles lit up their faces, the two of them on both sides of him. A golden flash blinded me, the wet sound of their blades slicing through his neck sickening me. His head rolled to my feet, the two of them landing gracefully. Black blood painted their hair black, not one inch of their face was clean. Fist bumping each other, she spun her blades around.
"Grant me the power to release these poor souls into Heaven!" She huffed, catching her breath. "Purify all that is on these hallowed grounds." Golden energy bathed the bodies, their gray skin decaying to golden ash. People gathered outside of their homes, horror written all over their faces. Sprinting over to me, her arms wrapped around my neck. Holding her tightly, her head nuzzled into my neck.
"Thank you for the help. It was just what we needed." She whispered in my ears sweetly, my fingers wiping off the blood on her face. Flashing me with her real smile, chills ran up my spine as cold water soaked us. Tamara was holding a hose, my mother shaking her head. Ripping Celly from me, she fussed with her. Kissing her feverishly, she checked every inch of her. I swear she loved her more than me, jealousy flashing in my eyes.
"Does trouble find you or what?" She joked tenderly, taking her by the arm. "I am going to clean her up. I suggest you do the same." Her terrified look was so cute, my mother dragging her away with no mercy. Walking to the other shower in the house, the tuxedo crashed to the ground. Loud protests echoed down the hall, my mother having harsh words with her. The two of them were yelling at each other, the warm water cascading down on me. Muddy water dripped down the drain, it only took a few minutes to get clean. Hopping out, the fighting was still echoing down the hall. Her sharp tongue was battling with my mother's, the soft material of my expensive Italian suit felt nice against my skin. My navy vest stood out against the gray suit, my wedding ring glinting in the light. Pride swelled in my chest, my heart skipping a beat. I was now married again, this time seeming more natural. A door slammed open, her slender hand poking out before my mother dragged her back in. My mother stepped out a second later, soaking wet. Her curls hung limply around her irritated face, Celly stepping out from behind her. My heart fluttered, her beauty never ceases to amaze me. Her hair was twisted into a simple side bun, a navy lace dress hugging her body. Her wedding jewelry danced in the breeze, tension between the two of them.
"I am sorry." Celly apologized meekly, snapping her fingers. "You should be dry now. I was just in so much pain from the cuts. In fact, I hurt all over." Tears welled up in her eyes, my mother embracing her like she was her own daughter. Patting her on the top of her head, Celly collapsed to the floor. Tears streamed down her cheeks, my heart shattering at the sight.
"What's wrong?" My mother queried cautiously, concern flashing in her eyes. "Are you okay?" Celly shook her head, my mother walking past her. Patting my shoulder, the floorboards creaked as I clutched her close to my chest. Something was eating at her, her emotions devouring her alive. Soft weeps rang in my ears, the horrible opinions of her running through my head as well. Everyone was calling her a monster, her trembling fingers gripping my jacket. A snarl curled on my lips, my finger lifting up her chin. Her face was puffy from crying, rage seething inside of me.
"Don't let them bother you." I comforted her sweetly, cupping her face. "You are the hero today. I can do something about it." Shaking her head, she tried to shove me away. Holding her tighter, she sobbed into my shoulders. A knock on the walls alerted us, Tamara clearing her throat.
"The reception is ready." She announced numbly, her concerned eyes falling on Celly. "Aren't you the one who told me to stand tall? What happened to the best friend who stood up to me earlier? Why do you care what they think of you? They hated me, too. You saved us all today. Do you want my advice? Stand up tall, and show them your authority over them. They need to know who the alpha dog is here." Struggling to her feet, Tamara brushed something over her face, amazement brightening my face. The puffiness was gone, the two of them getting along rather well. Jarod cleared his throat, my eyes falling on his face. His scars reminded me of that fateful day, my head bowing in shame.
"I am sorry." I blurted out awkwardly, his hands resting on my shoulders. "I overreacted." Chuckling to himself, he traced the side of his face. A lump formed in his throat, a crooked grin dancing across his face.
"I am over it all, dude." He uttered simply, hugging me tightly. "I am happy to see you married to the right girl. You have my apologies for that night, so they can shove it up their ass. I for one rather like your Celeste. She is just what this village needed, so did you do the dirty yet?" Scarlet burned my cheek, Celly hopping onto my back. A polite smile dimmed her face, yet it was rather unsettling.
"That is none of your business, Jarod." She warned sweetly, fright paralyzing the both of us. "Anyways, I am starving. Can you take me to the reception?" Clearing his throat, the floors protested as he bolted out of her sight. Flipping her off of my back, I spun her around. Holding her by the tiny of her waist, my lips kissed her sensually. For just a moment it was just us, tears falling from my eyes. Wiping away my tears, her lips brushed against the nape of my neck. Childlike wonder brightened my eyes, a crescent moon appearing on her left breast. Pinning me against the wall, hunger burned in the eyes.
"Let's go, you two freaks." Tamara called out from the hall, Celly turning to leave. Pinning her against the wall, my lips pressed against hers lustfully. My inner wolf was begging for me to take her, her golden eyes gazing lovingly into mine. Surprise widened my eyes, a golden lilac sitting in her palm. Pressing it into my palm, she spun me around.
"As long as that lilac is golden, our love will be strong until the end of time." She chirped cheerfully, dragging me by my tie. "I want some dinner, so we can have a bit of dessert." Tucking the lilac into my suit pocket, she was mine and only mine. Thank you for the surprise wedding, my dear Celly.
