Mekar cannot fully see or hear Wisnu. But that didn't make Wisnu sad at all; the young man enjoyed his days watching Mekar. He observed his sister's daily life. No matter how many days had passed, no matter that he had been fasting for days.
Mekar always comes out of the cave every morning, sometimes before sunrise, to look for food. She never comes out of the cave other than at dawn like that, unless it's urgent. It was indeed a good choice, because when it was still dawn, the majority of creatures were still or even just sleeping, and the day became very quiet when it entered at that hour.
Mekar's cave is very complete with various things; it's like the girl is trying to make something that, to be honest, Wisnu himself doesn't know what it is. He just watched Mekar in silence. The little girl mixes various powders and sometimes special plants that are quite dangerous.
