Remembering the very first time I was invited as a guest to a Television talk show.
I smiled thinking about it. If I wasn't talented enough, I guess I woudn't even afford to have a meal three times a day, plus snack and other staff.
"Is everything ready, Tine?"
All of my thoughts suddenly stops.
I turn around to look at my friends. "Yup!" answering them with a smile.
Inviting them for a night out and hiking is not my thing. I hate getting tired, in all honesty. But getting sweaty from walking and sight seeing makes me inspired.

"This will be a long weekend for us, so make sure that you didn't forget everything." Ellis reminded me.
I look at her with some thoughts. When I first saw her, I didn't even think I will be friends with her.
She was an amateur model back then. She looks snob and I hated her attitude before. Without knowing that she's also a fan!
Haha, what a weird world. A model, a pianist and a journalist.
I close my bag and make sure that I cleaned up my room before going out. Looking at them busy with their phones is not unusual.
"Look! They already published the date of my next play!" Say the pianist friend of mine, namely, Tessa.
"When would that be?" I asked while approaching them.
"It will be a month." Ellis Answered me.
"Everyone will be there." Adriane said while making her way to the driver's seat. Our journalist.
As we all set in the car, me and Ellis at the back and Tessa on the passenger's, Adriane finally started the car.
"So how was it with your new novel?" Ellis ask.
Looking at the busy road this very early, I realized, I never even bothered to wake up early. " Well..." I look at her. "Am still working on it. Creating a fantasy really is a challenge."
I heard Adriane laugh. "That would be a piece of cake for you. Don't you remember the "Crack of the lace" Mentioning one of my well made novel. "You said you ran out of ideas back then, so we got your back to Hawai for some insipiration."
"Nah! Because of that outing I almost get caught by the media!" Ellis reprimanded us of what happened.
It was like a bad dream for her when paparazzis came around her.
"Well, this may be a good outing." Tessa said while busy scanning her phone
"Yeah, I hope so, if this soon to be made novel became a hit, I will all treat you to Singapore!" I promised them that made them cringe.
Well, it was cringey to think that all of us can afford it, so why treat for free?
It took us quite the time before we get to our destination, with an almost five hours of driving, few stops at convenience stores, it was really tiring.
As we took our driving routine, it almost lasted another two hours!
"Don't let Tine drive again! For heaven's sake we got lost many times!" Adriane complain while taking all her luggage.
I laugh out of absurdity.
"This will be the last time!" Tessa gave me a scary smile. "You will really gets lost if you go around the forest alone.
That gave me chills to the bone, I look around, infront of us is a two-storey house that kinda look new. Around it is nothing but huge trees.
Damn! Even the sound of the wind makes me flinch.
"Goodness, this may be the safest hideout, but this place is quite scary." I almost whisper my words.
"Nah, this is where the challenge starts." Ellis
"Challenge, hah? Make sure to sleep on your own Ellis." Adriane answered, opening, even the gate is huge!
"Anyways, FYI girls, this house is well maintained, so enough worrying with the chills, I lived here for a long time before becoming a pianist. We will start our hiking tomorrow." Adriane continued.
While following their steps, a sudden tree caught my eye, this one is the smallest, the leaves are not even moving the way the wind blow, it's small compare to the other trees but, a fat..tree?
What if, something behind the tree is a door to another world.
"Haha. That's weird." I whisper.
"What's weird?"
"Aaah!" I shouted while cursing at Ellis. Who is now laughing.
"I told you to relax, that's bad for your imaginations." She said while patting my shoulders.
"That's not even funny." I said with a bitter tone, laughing at me makes me want to slap her. Tsk!
As soon as we headed inside the house, everyone prepared our bed, where we will be sleeping together. Preapring meal for our dinner.
Since, am not much of a cleaner, going to the kitchen is all I can do. Cooking light food is easy, and food for our drinking seasion.
"Is everything okay there?" Adriane ask while putting the beer inside the fridge.
"Yup, this is almost ready. How about the bed?" I ask back.
"We moved it at the theater room, and we don't have to worry about rest rooms and fridge, since it's all in there." She explain.
"How about the two of them, they are not sleeping yet right?"
"Nah, we took our time while taking our turn on driving earlier, so we are not tired at all."
After some time, preparing the meal is ready, everyone helped with the table setting and grab the food!
Enjoying every topic we are discussing, beer on each hand, laughing and singing, but me, on the other hand, infront of my laptop busy typing.

"So you didn't like that Gale before?" Tessa ask the question, direct to me.
"Nope." I shake my head slightly and closed my laptop.
"We have been friends for decade yet you never get involve to any bachelors.." Ellis
Drinking the last shot of my beer, and opening a new one. "I want someone, who's not after the fame, the money and the body...."
"The body!" they said in unison and we all laugh.
"For real, what is your ideal?" Adriane.
"Yeah, for real, you have never been kissed, damn! You didn't live in the outskirts you know." Tessa.
I smiled. "Someone who's willing to die for my protection..." After I said that, something caught my eye again.
They were all talking, but I didn't give them any attention. It was a blur light of blue and red. That was a fast light travel fast through my eyes.
Weird.
I look back to them, they are still alive and non stop talking.
"You bet, no one's stupid enough to die for your safety." Adriane frankly said.
I nod. "I know, and hey am still young. So thinking about ideals is out of way, yet."
"Yet," Tessa who even pointed her beer to me. "Your books are enough to marry you.! Like, babe, flirt back sometimes! have a wonderful one night stand, gets chased by a millionaire! A handsome one!"
I roll my eye and drink. "If it's millionaire, I have millions"
"Well, that's the truth, anyway, you have the best love stories in your books, and here you are, with friends." Tessa
"Ah, so would it be rather to some random guy?" I asked back.
They just laughed at me.
"I talked to Brandon about this outing." Tessa, the only one who has been in a long standing relationship.
"Well, am still enjoying with some other guys." Ellis answered.
"So am I." Adriane.
"Am Good, truth be told. And am happy the way it is." I honestly answered.

Nah, we have another round of beers, and knowing them for years, this beer is not enough to make them get drunk.
When the time turn twelve and our beers are about to be finished, I slowly move to clean the mess we all created.
After I did some cleaning, I check the rest room to make sure it's open, well, I really have a bad habit of going to the rest room in the middle of the night.
"Everything settled now to be asleep." Ellis
"Okay, I need a minute." I talk to her and prepare my things before sleeping.
I was in the middle of washing my face, when I felt a cold air behind me. What a scary air.
So instead of turning my head to face the strange cold air, I wipe my face first, took some breath and face this effin scary cold air.
I thought, I have seen something. But all I ever saw, was that weird blur light again.
This time, it passes through the closed door, it was not blue nor red. It was something near the color silver.
I almost run out from the restroom, when I saw Ellis standing infront of the door.
"What's taking you long babe?" She asked.
Shaking my head, "N-nothing."
"Get some sleep now." She said and entered the restroom.
As I lay down beside Adriane, who is now sleeping peacefully, I stare at the ceiling.
Maybe, I have been so tired lately.
Yeah, maybe..
a cold wind, blows from my back, so I slightly move my body to look who it was behind me.
But that made me feel confuse, how..?
How am I standing now? In the middle of nowhere?
When I last remember was, laying beside Adriane.
How the hell did I come here?! In the middle of these weird feild.
Another cold wind blow, that made my hair fly anywhere, I used my hand to fix my hair in place and try to look around.
Without any directions, I started walking. I saw that tree again, that fat tree!
It was now standing infront of me, but I didn't see this tree when I was walking!
Looking back from where I started walking, I found another place.
