The Master Bedroom, The Bortnik Farm, Unknown City, Unknown State...
The constant churning in the pit of his stomach leads to Alexei Bortnik awakening to find himself in bed alone for the first time in a long time. A notion of panic filled him as he reached for Lonnie's side of the bed and found that his spot had been cold suggesting that he'd been gone from it for quite a while. The newly awakened blond lad rolled onto his back and looked up at the ceiling as his thoughts about the previous hours spent with his rather aggressive older lover had gone. There was something of a satisfied smile that filed across Lex's youthful face as he recalled just how many times Lonnie had gotten him to cover himself with his release, coating his already sweat-slick skin in the process. A contented sigh passed through the pursed pink lips of the barely stretching young lad as he found himself easing from his slumber and his memories of the previous few hours. While it was odd that Lonnie had not been in bed beside him, it wasn't in the least unusual given his tendency to do some work on the farm since they made their return.
Lex's smile had not faltered as he continued to think of his lover. Getting released from prison and returning home seemed to be exactly what they needed despite Lex's onset of sickness. He was amazed to find that he'd been doing much better after some well-earned rest as he slowly pulled back the covers revealing his pale naked form as he sought his way to adhere to the call of nature.
The compressing of his bladder had not been enough to shake the pleasant memories of his time with Lonnie. As Lex climbed out of the bed, he noticed that Lonnie's shoes were in the place he usually left them when he'd been home and it gave a clear indication that Lonnie had not been out working in the yard. Puzzled but preoccupied, Lex continued toward the bathroom where he took a few moments to relieve himself via the toilet and ponder the odd sensation that washed over him that something had not been right despite his reasoning it away.
The sudden onset of anxiousness gave way to churning in Lex's stomach as he finished up his business and ventured from the bathroom down the stairs into the mess that had been made of his living room. He noted the broken glass and the splatters of blood that lined the hardwood floor and for the first time since he awoke, he feared what became of Lonnie as a result of the obvious chaos.
Lex took note of the numerous rounds of footprints via heavy boots that lined the floor and the puddle of blood amid bullets and broken glass. Panic began to fill him as he set about searching the house for Lonnie as memories of the diner shooting drew him into full-on terror as he set about looking for his missing lover.
"Please be here..." he whispered looking about the rather large house for him. "Please be okay."
There was no trace of Lonnie Collins in the slightest aside from his hastily abandoned attire in the form of his shirt and shoes. It wasn't like Lonnie to just take off, that was more Lex's field of expertise and he figured that if Hadrian Rawsone had returned he would have at least gotten dressed and the chaos downstairs would not have been necessary.
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
The Bortnik Farm, Unknown City, Unknown State...
Still frantic, Lex stepped outside forgoing his clothes in his desperation for any sign of his lover only to be sorely disappointed and met with a round of questions left unanswered and tire tracks that seemed to be in a substantial number.
It became more and more evident with each passing discovery that Lonnie had not voluntarily left Lex alone and that someone had taken him. The blond teen lad narrowed his blue eyes as the thoughts of whom had been capable of accomplishing such a thing went over in his mind and his logical conclusion was that Julia Rawsone had been the one behind it.
The bitch had come between Lex and Lonnie for the last time as the rage began to boil over inside the naked pale teen. He ventured back toward the house and opted to get dressed before making his move. He was more than sure that somehow Julia had sent someone after them and they had been the ones that took Lonnie back to her and her wretched lies.
Lex did not doubt in his mind that it was just another ploy to get Hadrian back, despite her current affair with his own best friend. The churning in his stomach had not subsided as his anxiousness threatened to get the better of him and he felt the sickness that kept him via the toilet bowl had come back in full causing him to venture back toward the bathroom and vomit once more.
He'd missed Lonnie all the more and was furious with himself for not doing anything about it when they came for him. Lex continued to vomit into the toilet bowl as he thought of all the ways he would hurt Julia Rawsone for her constant interference with him and the man he loved.
He had hated her even more than he had hated his father and grandparents combined and just like them, she was cruel and thoughtless in her every action but tried to justify herself by putting the blame on him and scoffing at him when she'd driven her husband away long before Lex ever entered their already miserable lives.
Lex crumbled beside the toilet bowl as he thought of Lonnie and how much he needed him as his stomach continued to give him problems as it had those nights prior when the older man had been around. He had attempted to push him away, growing jealous and spiteful in the wake of his sickness because he couldn't give Lonnie what he thought he wanted and still Lonnie had stayed putting up with his wayward temperaments and holding him through the worst of it. If his body had been his worst enemy, Lonnie seemed to have always been the remedy whenever he'd been around and had been since the day they met.
After days of his bout with nausea, Lonnie had insisted he sees a doctor and when Lex didn't want to visit one for fear of being locked away. Lonnie found Dr. Harding who had some degree of expertise in rare cases like Lex who had been intersex from birth. Dr. Harding had been impressed with Lex's care for himself thus far although he wasn't surprised to find out that Lex and Lonnie were sexually active.
The seemingly neutral old man had been fascinated by Lex's development and ran quite a few tests on him to see if it had anything to do with the condition of his birth. While it wasn't rightly known off the bat, Lex had well-developed female sexual organs and as a result, functioned like any naturally born woman in that regard in the fact that he had a menstrual cycle and thus cared for himself properly, his late grandmother had been the reason for his knowledge about at least that aspect of himself early on and he thought nothing of it aside from routine care.
Dr. Harding had been shocked to find that Lex also had functioning male sexual organs and developed quite well for someone with mixed hormones. His sperm count was low but not nonexistent and there was still a chance he could impregnate someone via his sperm. Lex had not worried much about that due to his lack of experience with women as he'd been more than happy to spread his legs for Lonnie.
The older man had not known what to say but continued to run tests that required him to visit the office with Lonnie tagging along and had yet to give the results as to what was causing Lex's pains and nausea.
In the present, Lex had sat on the floor still reeling from his churning stomach and the absence of Lonnie upon his awakening. He had nearly missed the phone ringing and scrambled for it. Hoping that it had been Lonnie on the other end, having found a way to contact him, Lex was largely disappointed to find that it was merely Dr. Harding who had called with his test results.
Lex's face had gone from disappointment to shock to something of slight sadness to determination as his conversation with Dr. Harding continued. He gripped the phone tightly in his hand and seemed to have made up his mind as to what he intended to do about the news he had just received. Never in his young life would he have imagined the words the older man had to say to him being something along the lines of life-altering.
Alexei Ivan Bortnik's resolve was strengthened at that moment and as a result, he knew exactly where he would look for Lonnie Collins, starting with Julia Rawsone.
