The Recreational Room, Cedar Pine Mental Care Facility...
Seething rage filled Lonnie Collins as he sat strapped via a wheelchair in the center of a rather large and less charming recreational room for what he knew to have been a mental hospital at the insistence of Detective Gordon due to his so-called wife Julia Rawsone. The well-meaning workers at the so-called hospital did their best to pump Lonnie full of drugs to keep him "calm" given his naturally agitated state after being taken against his will to the facility via his wife's urging. She had followed Colin Winters' advice about committing him, but she'd done so behind Maureen's back, who had been his active mental health care worker. Hadrian had designated Maureen himself when he'd been of sound mind as he trusted her with his life, but Julia had been of the mind to keep him away from her for fear of her telling him about the baby and her affair with Gary should he ever return to his normal self. Seeing no other path to getting her husband back without everyone coming between them, she took him to the one place she knew she'd have full control over the situation.
Unfortunately for her, Lonnie Collins wasn't her husband, but even he would have difficulty given the situation he found himself in. The orderlies had done a number on him before wheeling him into the room as he glared at the other nutcases that filled the place. A man was talking to his own shadow, a woman clutching a shoe as if it had been a child, and a few choice cases arguing over a nonplaying television program. The noise was near unbearable and the urge for a drink had been quite prevalent in him as he sat strapped to the wheelchair with his eyes in the direction of the door.
Julia Rawsone had come strolling in through it as if she'd been a dutiful and caring wife and not the twisted bitch who had been holding Lonnie Collins against his will with the help of the shady Doctor Reed who seemed to have it in for him, or rather for the good doctor, Hadrian Rawsone.
"You have some nerve," growled Lonnie as he narrowed his dark eyes at the treacherous woman before him. "Come to see me after fucking that bastard like this is a game to you."
Julia had been caught off guard for a moment but knew that Lonnie was well aware of her affair with Gary Sanders.
"This isn't about him," said Julia as she faced Lonnie. "This is about you."
"What part of I don't fucking want you don't you understand?" growled Lonnie attempting to shift in his wheelchair.
Julia noted he'd been strapped to it and held her ground as his fury filed across his face.
"What the fuck makes you think you can have your cake and eat it too?" growled Lonnie still annoyed by her very presence. "Sooner or later bitch you are going to get what's coming to you and I hope I'm around to see it, Doc's gonna drop you like the bad habit that you are and that bastard in your belly won't mean shit to him."
"Shut up." hissed Julia nearly on the verge of tears. "You don't know anything about me and Hadrian you're just some evil asshole who hijacked his life."
"Go fuck yourself bitch." growled Lonnie once more. "And you better pray I don't get out of this chair, because when I do..."
"What?" asked Julia defiantly.
"I'll snap your pretty little neck like a twig," replied Lonnie in a rather venomous tone. "You have no idea who you're pissing off whore and I ain't got the time to fill you in."
"What's your hurry?" asked Julia in a mock tone. "It's not like you'll be going anywhere any time soon...not even to get back to your little freak show lover."
"You watch your fucking mouth bitch." growled Lonnie even more enraged.
Julia seemed amused at this point.
"Did I strike a nerve about your little boyfriend?" she taunted.
"Seems to me you're still upset his pussy is wetter than yours." countered Lonnie knowing very well how to push her buttons. "You couldn't even get me off on your best day."
Julia got closer to him enough and slapped Lonnie across the face causing him to grin rather wickedly in response.
"I can't wait to be rid of you," she growled enraged.
"The feeling is mutual bitch." replied Lonnie.
Julia stepped away from him and continued to the real reason for her visit. She had been doing a bit of consulting with Dr. Reed and found that there was a procedure that could be used to rid the world and her life of the vile Lonnie Collins once and for all. She had some misgivings about it in the beginning as she'd been terrified of the consequences it would have on Hadrian himself, but her desire to finally be rid of Lonnie was far outweighing the usual cons.
She stepped into Dr. Reed's office and he graciously enlightened her on how he'd get it done. She seemed more and more at ease with his proposal and as a result, signed the necessary documents to get it underway as soon as humanly possible.
Lonnie had felt she'd been up to something, trust and Julia Rawsone had not gone hand in hand given her affair and the subsequent shady way she had him hauled off to an unknown facility where she could dictate what she wanted about her apparent husband's care without any pushback from his father or anyone else who had not been on board with her true agenda.
While he couldn't do much in the way of movement, Lonnie thought of Lex back on the farm and how upset he must have been to awaken and find him gone. He'd been worried about him ever since he'd gotten sick and the issue with the test results from Dr. Harding had plagued his mind even now. He didn't doubt that Lex might have gotten word as to what was happening with him but he wanted to be there, for the results and Lex.
Julia Rawsone's selfish nature had truly put a damper on things but Lonnie was determined to get back to Lex and see him through whatever it was that was ailing him. He had only hoped that the poor lad could hold on until he made his return.
A return that was sure to be derailed once the decidedly desperate Julia Rawsone had her way.
