Levi was alone in the forest. It was so hot in the daytime that it felt like the sun was just above the trees. He felt the drops of sweat on his face which he wiped off with a tissue. His curly hairs were scattering due to the wind. He was wearing jeans with a gray t-shirt on them. His personality was quite simple and it showed in his dressing sense too. He was walking and the voice of leaves chirping beneath his shoes was visible. The forest was quiet and calm that's why it was echoing with the sound of the leaves as he was walking around. He felt some noise behind his back so he immediately stopped and turned back. He realized that someone was calling him. He began walking behind to find out.
Tall trees were standing everywhere. He was conscious of his surroundings and he saw someone near a huge green tree. Due to the excessive sunlight that was making his vision blurred he put his hand on his forehead from the front to see clearly. The branches of the tree were bent towards the ground. There she saw a girl. She was sitting under the tree and staring at him. He looked suspiciously at her that what she was doing alone in that big forest where anyone can be lost.
Her face was calm and relaxed. It seemed like she was waiting for him. Levi came near her putting the leaves and branches aside with his hands that were coming his way.
As he came nearer, her lips shaped into a smile and the dimple on her right cheek was visible. She waved at him.
His eyes rooted down to her hands. He saw a small mark on her right hand, the same mark he got in his hand. Levi looked at her with confusion.
"I was waiting for you." She said pouring a deep smile on him.
"Waiting for me?" His light brown color eyes opened wider with confusion. She was talking to him like she already knew him and he was surprised by that.
"Yeah. I need help from you. I want to know the route from where I can go back." She said innocently while standing up. Her long ash blonde wavy hair was falling on both shoulders. She was wearing a sky blue color long top with jeans and was carrying a small cross stitch bag with her.
Levi's eyes opened with the sound of his alarm. He rubbed his eyes and sat down immediately. He felt the drops of sweat on his forehead.
"Oh my God, when this dream will stop chasing me?" He held his head with both hands. His light brown eyes were apprehensive "And who is that girl? I have not seen her in my life?" He said to himself. "Are these dreams a vision telling me something? I should have to find out today." He stood up from the bed and went to the washroom to freshen himself. He had to get ready for his university as he was studying data science.
Levi was having these kinds of dreams over a year ago. Initially, he didn't pay attention but as time passed and he saw the same kind of dreams again and again so he sensed something unusual. He thought that maybe it was a sign or hint that he needs to know something or maybe that girl whom he is watching repeatedly in his dreams needed his help. He was disturbed due to these visions. In this big world, where he could be able to find that girl? Maybe she was just an illusion but what if she could be a reality?
At university, he wasn't able to pay attention to the lecture as that dream was grabbing his mind and diverting his attention. After the class, he went to the cafeteria.
"Hey, Levi are you ok?" His friend Michael pinched his fingers in front of him as he was lost in his thoughts.
He came into the present upon the sound of pinching and blinked his eyes.
"What?" He looked at Michael inquisitively with this unexpected intercession.
"Where are you, man? Is everything alright? I have called you two times but you seemed to be lost in your thoughts." Michael asked with concern.
"Yeah, Actually I am disturbed." Levi tried to assemble words to describe what he was experiencing.
He was afraid that if he was going to tell someone, will they believe him or not? But he wanted someone to just only listen to him. So upon Michael's insistence, he told him everything that he was seeing continuously in his dreams.
Michael listened to him quietly and after he finished there was silence for a few seconds.
"I have a solution for this." He confessed to Levi.
Levi looked at him with skeptical eyes.
"Come to my place in the evening. I will tell you everything. I know someone who will solve your problem." Michael told him with full belief and conviction.
"But I can't come in the evening as you know I have started a part-time job three months ago." His eyebrows raised with concern.
"No problem. You can come at night. I will arrange the timings." Michael smiled patting his shoulders.
"Thanks, Michael," he said to Michael with a warm smile. "I was so much depressed due to these dreams that I wanted to relieve myself and you helped me with that."
"No problem Levi. There is always a solution to every problem in this world so there is going to be a clue to your dreams too." Michael tried to reduce the tension in the atmosphere.
Levi nodded.
It was about the time when his mother got sick and he started seeing those dreams. Sometimes he saw that girl and sometimes he used to be alone. Due to his mother's illness and his father being unemployed he was so disturbed and bothered that he never paid attention to them. It was that life suddenly put him into uncertain and uncomfortable situations. He was studying when his father got jobless so then he started applying for some part-time and freelancing jobs. He reached Jacob for a job through one of his classmates who told him about the vacancies of his secretary or manager. He immediately went there to give an interview that Jacob took himself. He heard so much praise of Jacob's benevolence and respectability, besides that Jacob was strict in his rules and regulations. He didn't tolerate the undisciplined and bad behaviors in his studio. He found Levi interesting due to his good mannerism, decency, and merit and hired him for the vacancy. Levi's financial burden was a little relieved as he got his job there as Jacob used to assist him apart from his salary too and that motivated Levi to work harder and with more honesty.
