Realizing what he has done, Hermes shivered as he held his favorite servant in his hands. The urge to satisfy his thirst had gone since he had already consumed enough blood but the body of the dead man remained in his hands.
At first it seemed as though it was just a dream, but reality dawned on him when he saw the bite mark on his neck and how pale he had become.
He heaved heavily and eventually, the corpse fell from his hands, landing with a thud on the ground.
