The scream was coming directly from the rear of the house and in a matter of seconds, Devile found his way there with Hermes behind him. With his eyes searching around for Mira, he finally found her by the corner sitting by the corner as she winced in pain holding her toes.
He was somewhat relieved to see that her screams wasn't due to a severe mishap - at least there was no sign of an intruder ax that was exactly what he was thinking. "Mira?" He called out to her and hurried his steps towards her. As soon as Devile reached where she was, he crouched in front of her to take a look at what happened to her toes.
Even Mira wasn't able to see clearly how bad her toes had gotten because there was not enough light to see but Devile could see it clearly -- her big toes were already red and swollen from the incident. Due to the blackout of the entire mansion, she dashed her foot against a stone and missed her footing, the next thing she knew was that she fell forward.
