For a brief moment, Mario stood as though he had been poured a bucket of ice water. His body freezed, his eye brows creased inwardly and he had this questioning look written on his face. There were so many questions that he wanted to ask at that moment but first, he wanted to take his time and study Lizzy's face just to be certain that she wasn't playing a sick joke on him.
The expression on Lizzy's face did not falter at all, neither was there any hint that everything she was saying was false. It was at that moment that Mario knew that she was telling the truth.
