The sound of the tires screeching caused Peace to shiver in fear and for a moment, she thought that she had been actually hit by it. The first thing she did was to look down and check around her body for injuries but she found none and was relieved that nothing had happened to her. She could afford to cause more problems for herself as she knew that if she landed in the hospital as her father, everything would be brought to a halt and it would be difficult to sort for her and her father's bill. And the kids, she didn't even wasn't to think about that as that would only worsen the situation.
"Sorry!" She pleaded as she made a cross to the other pathway. She was rushing to check on the kids as she had a lot of things to do.
