Chapter 24 - Dining Room Dialogue.

Theodore had never seen so much white in all his life and he couldn't feed his eyes the best of it as he looked on to what would have been the greatest infrastructure known yet to man. The City Of Under. The rooms were so brightly colored and the passages in which he stood at the moment wasn't left out either. There were symmetrical line patterns on both sides of the walls as well. Moving into doors that extended to rooms. Theodore was amazed. He had never seen such a wonderful structural design. He wanted to know why it was so but time was not on his side.

"Theodore. Theodore!" A voice beckoned to him from underneath his view. It was Arias'. Milana was pushing her through the Passage on a wheelchair.

"We have arrived the dining hall. I was afraid that you'd keep on feeding your eyes with this beautiful sight and as much as I wish not to interrupt, the dining hall is right here." Aria said, extending her hands to the large door that stood in front of her.

"Oh, my apologies." Theodore said after realizing his mistakes. Immediately, in an attempt to make up for it, he offered to open this large door for them which they accepted.

He held it open until Milana and Aria made their way through. He entered as well, shut the door gently and turned back to see this dining hall in all its' glory. Bright lights, everywhere. Atop them all and at the center of the room, stood a rather large chandelier. It was so big that Theodore was sure to be at least triple its' size to even think of comparing himself with it. "An amazing masterpiece. How did anyone carry such intense art up there? or perhaps, it was put together on the ceiling?" Theodore said out loud. He couldn't hide his thoughts this time.

"No, it was carried up there. by the Nymphs." A voice beckoned from a part of the room. It sounded familiar. It was Mark. He had already made his way to the room. Theodore, looking down, saw Mark and yet another spectacle. A large-white-round table was placed in the Middle of the room. Directly above it hung the magnificent chandelier. Surrounding the tables were sets of tables for every size and race. The chairs ranged in size and the were all white and brightly colored. In the four corners of the room six Nymphs each stood, waiting to attend to their orders, even though the round table was filled with food and drinks to last a lifetime.

"I see." Theodore said, now eyes face to Mark.

"Look at all these food! I have been really messed up good since our journey here. I don't even know where to begin!" Theodore said out of amazement and happiness. He was so excited as to begin his ventures into the exotic dishes wild spread on the table. Ranging from roasted pork to freshly baked bread, all the way boiled chicken and nicely cooked rice. So many dishes presented itself and in the best of ways that He couldn't pick. He stood looking until Mark eventually snapped him back into reality.

"Oi! Take a seat already. What now? you haven't seen this much dishes in your life?" Mark said from the far end of the table obviously mocking Theodore who, from the look on his face didn't take it lightly.

"I have heard plenty nice servings for a lifetime thank you!" He said, as he moved around the dining table in an attempt to find the seat that best suits him. So many seat sizes were present at the tables that it made Theodore question.

"Why are there so many seat sizes? Ones that are not even my size and some bigger than me in every aspect."

"Oh, it's no problem. Pick anyone. Try sitting on it and it would adjust to your body mass and size. Nothing much." Milana said. as she gently carried Aria out of the wheel chair and into one of the dining seats available. Theodore saw what happened. She out Aria in a seat. that was so large that he knew it would perfectly fit him just fine, however, on seeing Aria come closer, the seat adjusted it's height and size as it seemingly melted to achieve a size perfect for Arias' little body. Impressed by this feat, Theodore exclaimed.

"By the Halos Rings! This must be some sort of sorcery! How did this happen?" l

"Oh it's not sorcery you dumb fart." Mark said.

"It's called nano technology. The same material used to build this entire place. Must I say everything out loud to the hearing of this feeble mind of yours?" Mark said, this time the taunt was clear. Theodore got annoyed by this but had no way to counter and so he kept to himself. Still looking at the weird shapes these chairs took, a thought came to mind.

"why are these chairs in various shapes in the first place? I mean, you sit and the adjust to your size right? does that mean....no no. it can't be."

He sat down, Looked at his table, saw dishes, and his smile came back to his face.

A few minutes had passed and silence ensured, being broken by the gentle movements of cutlery made by the crew every now and then. A large distraction however occured. It was coming from the door. A knock. It was so loud that one of them had to answer.

"Come in! it's open!" Aria beckoned.

On hearing this, the door opened to reveal a mysterious figure. A humanoid. He was so tall he had to bend over just to fit into the door. On entering and finally standing upright, They were amazed. A man. He was smiling. His teeth looking well kept. Red crystal-like earrings hung on both earlobes. His eyes were covered by his hair that flowed downwards. He wore the same white cloth as all of them but his fingernails were painted red. He wore nothing on his legs. He walked, sluggishly towards the direction of Mark. each thump was so loud that even a giant as Theodore felt intimidated. On reaching Mark, the giant squatted to reach Marks height. Even during his squats, Mark, who still sat eating his dish was still looking small in comparison to him.

"Hey, get up. That seat. It's mine." This giant finally talked. He was still smiling. His voice echoed round the room, making everyone shiver at mere sound of his voice. Mark, however, seemed unfazed. He didn't flinch. He kept eating his meal, slowly and steadily. The giant took notice that Mark hadn't moved and was snubbing him so he decided to repeat himself.

"I said, get up from that position. The seat is mine. Why can't you little humans understand?" He said, as he stopped squatting and stood uprightly. He looked around that's when he noticed Aria, Milana and Theodore. He waved at them and suddenly the felt the wind blow from the direction of his hands. The sheer pressure if him waving caused the change of weather inside the hall. The wind wasn't much, but it could be felt on the skin slightly. Milana looked at him with annoyance in her face. She was aggravated at this point. Her soup had been blown away and she couldn't sit still.

"Hey!" she called out to him. "you're ruining dinner. Can't you see the consequences of your actions? Stop waving!". On saying this, Milana had great regret. She was scared, but soup had just been wasted and would continue to waste if she didn't stop the cause of it.

"Oh, my bad. Sorry. I had no idea you guys were here. Seems I'll have to get used to being around feeble people this time around." The giant said as he lowered his hands down, gently. But his persistence of Mark still kept going until he screamed at Mark with these exact words.

"Get Off My seat!!!" These words echoed round the room and even extended all the way outside, to the rails and even to places it shouldn't have gone. This was the highest he could take. Unknowing to this giant, he sprinkled spit all over Marks' food and that brought with it consequences. Mark couldn't bear the insult this time. whilst the shout was still going on, Mark thrust his hand closest to the giant, being the left one into the wide open mouth. Firmly, he gripped hard and clinged on to the tongue of this giant, used his other hand to unsheathe his sword and was about to cut the chunk of tongue his hand caught as the Giants' mouth laid open. The giant took notice of this was about to close it's mouth in an attempt to bite out Marks' hands that possessed a painful grip of his tongue. The gore was set and about to take place until it was cut short by the appearance of two humanoids. A male and a female. The male held unto the mouth of the giants and avoided it cutting off Marks' hands and the female held Marks' hands and avoided it cutting the through the tongue of this annoying giant.

"Let him go. Now!" The female ordered Mark whilst still having a firm grip on the hand wielding the sword. Mark was so pissed. His anger overflowed to the entire room and even the giant felt the impact and began crying uttering words that no one could understand because his tongue was being held.

"I said, Let him go!" The female commanded once more. Mark decided to do as she asked and let go of the Giants' tongue. Milana, Aria and Theodore watched as all these transpired but didn't move much as they were also vouching for Mark to cut off his tongue as he was causing a nuisance at the dining hall. The giant, after his tongue was let go of, couldn't put it back into his mouth and it was left hanging out.

"Qwat .....qwat hacv qyou gone sto me? Mwy...Mwy stongue!" He said, as he pushed himself away from Mark until he reached the corner of the wall. He wanted to get back to Mark for what had just transpired but he couldn't do anything to Mark because he knew he'd regret that action or simply die from it. He had a feeling that Mark isn't like the little humans he knew. He was different. "This guy! he must pay! My tongue is permanently stuck like this! Ah, it hurts! he'll pay! but...but.....what can I do to him? Would I survive any attempt of payback? No, not now. I would die it I tried it now." These thoughts plummeted through his head as he held his tongue with his hands. Mark, still on his seat, stopped eating as his food was soiled by spit.

"You really wanted to cut his tongue off now didn't you?" The female that still clinged on to his arm asked.

"Well, I was going for his throat but I figured he's new here so I wanted to set an example by going for his tongue." Mark continued. "Besides, that way, he looks even better. Wouldn't you think the same, Trix?" Mark said, looking at the giant curled up in the corner of the hall in fear.

"Trix?" Milana asked, "You know her Mark?" She stopped eating and turned to Marks' direction on the table. Theodore and Aria did the same out of surprise.

"Yes I do" Replied Mark.

"I'm his wife" Trix said with a pride filled face.

The entire crew exclaimed in shock at what they their eyes just heard at the moment

"HUH!!!!!!".

They were still in shock and couldn't understand what she said. No they couldn't believe. Even Theodore who had known Mark the longest couldn't believe this. Can this be true? Mark had a wife all this time?
