He held her in his arms as he licked her shoulder trying to ease up the pain that was feeling. Healing magic won't work on this so he did not try to use it on her.
"It hurts," Hazel whispered. She held onto him as if doing that would make the pain go away. Her body trembled from time to time. She was slowly losing consciousness but he continued to hold her firmly, stroking her back gently, trying his hardest to make her feel as little pain as possible.
Had she not been a human she would have most likely been healed by now and the pain would have long been forgotten.
"You'll be fine," he said. She was fighting to stay conscious and help helped her with that. Making sure that she did not close her eyes and lose consciousness. Staying awake was a way to let him know they were there.
