"I have come to apologize," Sage said. She didn't want to but she had to if she didn't want to get into more trouble with the king. "I shouldn't have left your side after the king had given his orders. I am sorry," she said.
Hazel stares at her, unable to believe that she had come to talk to her after so many days had passed and she can apologize. What did Arzaan do when she went out of her way from silently glaring at her to apologizing to her?
"I can not leave until my apology is accepted," Sage spoke again after a minute had passed and Hazel had not said a word but just stared at her.
"I accept your apology, though it was unnecessary. It was not your fault for what happened. I have come to know that it was not you. I had my doubts back then too, but it was confirmed recently." Hazel said so that she would know that there was no misunderstanding.
