"It isn't a rumor if it is true, Aya," He said, taking Hazel's hand in his. "She is my mate and therefore your Queen, I expect you to treat her as you will treat me and nothing less than that."
"But…" she began but could say more because he was right. His mate would eventually become the Queen.
Hazel's brows pulled together as she looked at the woman. She didn't know who she was but she did not like her. She was Celeste's sister but they seemed like completely different people to her.
A little noise from the river took her attention away from the woman. The waves have become bigger and the water seems to rise.
"Aya," Arzaan called and the woman who wore a frown on her face for more than one reason turned to look at him without replying or bowing out of courtesy as she should have. "How long has she been in there?"
