"It wasn't just a dream I had was it?" she asked and Arzaan nodded his head. "Then Duran was in my bedroom…?"
"He was," he replied, looking apologetic. He placed his silverware on the table and looked at her. "He was not alone," he said. Though he didn't want to be the one to give the news that could scar her, he had promised her answers and he would tell her everything that he knew so she would know what was going on.
"Why would they be in my bedroom? What did they want?" Hazel asked, also placing her silverware down. Now was not the time to eat. Hunger had left her the moment she thought of having Duran in her room planning to do something to her.
"I should have waited until you had finished your meal," Arzaan said, regretting his decision to talk to her now.
