They had made them stood in the hot scorching sun for hours before their so called 'Lord' came out to see them. Elsa wouldn't lie, she had expected an old willowed man, instead she saw the most breathtakingly handsome man she'd ever seen in her life.
And worst of all, he was the Alpha. The Alpha of the great Cyprus Pack. He was typically the most famous Alpha that was ever talked about till date. His name alone made people tremble. And he had created a fear Even In their heart. The humans, them.
People talked about him too much and she felt they were all exaggerations. But now, she could see for herself that they weren't.
She could see the women's gazed taking him up and down, emitting nothing but lustful desires to have him in their Wildest dreams.
He began coming down the stairs, and she lowered her gaze, not wanting to make eye contact with him.
She was expecting to hear his voice but all she heard were some men ushering them to another place.
"Go now, the Lord needs his rest". She heard one of the men said and she turned around to follow the rest.
Soon enough, They all got separated, the women aside. The men, to the other side.
After the men were taking away, the little kids were taking away from their mothers.
The women were also divided into four parts. Some were to serve in the royal kitchen. Some were To be the cleaning Maid. Some were assigned to be personal maids, the rest were taking to the vineyard.
Elsa fell into the cleaning Maid duty. She was grateful though. That she wasn't a personal Maid.
She signed slowly and began following the other women, who were being led by a woman. Probably the head Maid.
"What do you think will happen to us here? Is this where we'll be for the rest of our lives?" An older woman walking beside Elsa mumured to her.
"I..... don't think I can answer that" Elsa answered, clearly not sure herself.
"Do you think...?" The woman began to ask again but the woman leading them suddenly stopped.
"You all will be given works to do as cleaning Maids, most of you will work in the Alpha's palace while the rest of you will be taken to the former Luna. I am the head Maid, you can call me Madame Sophia"
The women nodded solemnly, and Elsa's gaze widened. Work in the castle? Would that be a good idea? Working for the Alpha, whose presence had made her shivered and whom she find extraordinarily beautiful.
Would she be able to cope with seeing him every day for the rest of her life probably?
Elsa didn't Know if she was to cry or wail as how her life had taken a drastic turn, but she tried so hard to maintain a strong and unturned posture. She wasn't going to let anyone get the best of her.
As they slowly made their way to the Alpha's castle, Elsa had not expected to see the sights she is viewing right now. He was the Alpha right? Not some filthy wealthy king. But this place overshadow some Kings castle she'd seen most of he life. Contrary to what she was expecting, it was huge and mighty, with golden walls, and a firm, strong silvered staircase. Both combination weren't meant to go together but they matched perfectly well in this occurrence, and it made the place more exotic and exquisite.
The steps leading into the castle were transparent glass, one would feel like they would break to pieces at ones footstep but it can be seen that it can never happen.
If the outside of the castle was marveling, the inside was glamorous.
The same silver long staircase encased the middle of the wide spread room they first went into. The staircase which led to hundreds of rooms upstairs, And golden walls that would make you want to swoon at it multiple times.
The chandeliers were ravishing in their different shades of lightening. The Dinning....Oh the dinning, was supposed to be made for Kings. So what the hell was it doing here?
Elsa's thought we're jumbled as she kept admiring every nook and cranny of the castle. At one time, she stepped on the Hem of her gown and almost fell if he woman next to her hadn't caught her by the arm.
"Thank you...." She nodded her thanks.
She turned again to stare at the golden chairs, with the long table, iron standing theoricly in their posts, with the glassy frame ontop.
There were rooms downstairs too but quiet a few of them. She could see Maids walking to and fro, trying to make everything seem as it is.
She was still intending to drool over more things when she heard the voice of Madame Sophia.
"Now go over to the room there, a maid will lead you, that's where you'll a change into the maids attire." She said pointing towards one of the rooms. "Rita!" She called for the Maid, and she ran forward.
"Lead them to the Changing room and provide them to wear"
"Ye Madame" Rita answered bowing slightly and she beacon for them to follow her.
Elsa walked faster to get closer to Rita. Her gown practically in her hand so as not to step on them.
"Hi" She said nervously when she got to her side, thankfully Rita was nice.
"Hi, I'm Rita" She answered smiling back at Elsa who was also smiling nervously.
"Elsa....Isn't there too many work to be there here?"
"Yes Elsa, there is. Works to practically last us a lifetime, and what makes us even busier is the upcoming party for the Alpha. To be held tonight. And the preparations are about to begin."
Elsa nodded, Not wanting Rita to see her almost weeping face.
Work. Slaves. Work.
Is that the only thing she'll spend the rest of her life doing. In this God damnit Wolf pack. Where they can be eaten any minute.
"Can I ask what the party is about?"
"The Alpha," Rita begin, but this time she lowered her voice to just little above a whisper. And Elsa has to lean closer and strain her ears to eat what she's has to say about the Alpha.
"He's holding a party to find his mate, our Luna. Whom he has been looking for , for more than seven years now" she ended.
"Oh I see, thank you Rita" Elsa gave her a warm smile. Rita stopped in front of a large brown oak door. and beacon them inside.
"Go now, this is where you'll bath and change, all the things you need are in there." With this she bowed slightly, gave Elsa a small smile and turned to leave.
Elsa entered I to the room with some other women who were to tears ridden to even notice what was going on around them.
The thought of them loosing all their family must still be a fresh circumstance to them, including her.
The Alpha must be very wealthy to dedicate this place alone for the maids Changing room. Elsa thought as they walked in to the big, spacious, white painted room. There were three bathrooms in it. The same but surplus Maid attire.
"Is this what we're all given to wear?" One of the woman asked slowly.
Another of the woman picked up the cloth and sagged.
"Let consider the fact that this is the summer season. When the winter comes, is this still all we're going Tobe given?"
"I wish I can just escape.....go back to my family. Be United again..."
"My baby.....can we go see our children or would they be feed to the wolves?"
Elsa listened to the women's complaining, not able to say anything, she kept mute. Quietly disengaged herself from her worn-out robe.
Even in the heart of things, it feels good to be able to soak in the water and let it wash all sorrows away.
The bathtubs in the bathroom wasn't one or two but five, so five people could take their bath at the same time. But the women were still busy moaning In sorrow. So she could only cherish the peaceful moment alone.
After she was done, she picked out the gown to suit her size and put it on. It was just a little above her knee. With tiny straps. A silky looking apron was to go with it. After selecting an apron and wearing it over the gown. She felt good and satisfied. Even though her mind were in chaos.
The gown for one did her good or no good rather by bringing out all the womanly curves she's been trying so hard to hide with the gown she discarded. It brought out her slim waist, small, full and firm breast, a slightly larger feminine curvy hips. Her hair was now down In a tangled mess. still a little wet.
She stroked her hand between the wet curls. Remembering her mother. Whom had always helped her dried her her with a towel, them help her comb out every tangled curls there is.
She had long, thick, ebony hair, with perky curls that be delightful in finger running. She was beautiful, her hair was beautiful and her face was perfect.
She refused to accept that. Even the only person who ever tells her she's beautiful, her mother, is gone.
She didn't realize the tears streaming down her cheeks until a voice spoke.
"Don't cry...it's all going to be Okay...." She looked up and saw the woman who had helped her when she wanted to slip the other time, staring calmingly at her. With her face filled with sympathy and remorse with better understanding.
Her expression only made Elsa more sadder ad she bursted into tears, going into the woman's arms voluntarily.
