"What an exhausted day!" Stella immediately laid down on her bed without taking her shoes off.
She wanted to take some rest before doing all her assignments, this is not part of their plans but as she said there's no turning back. Stella felt her roommate's gaze causing her eyes to open.
"I know what you wanted to ask but can you spare me today? I'm pretty exhausted," She's just trying to avoid their interrogations but her friends are not easy to deal with.
"We are your friends and interrogating you is our job. So, when did you and that famous guy start dating?" Hazel asked.
"Yeah, last time I check you're a girl who doesn't want to get involved in everyone's life," Stacey added while putting a facial mask on to face and start massaging her face.
She sat down on the bed, "We're not dating, so stop making such imaginations. I'm poor while him? He's a rich, playboy guy."
"Then, how can you explain to us what happen earlier? He excuses you to our professor and he even fetches you, so don't tell us it wasn't called dating, Stella."
She rolled her eyes before laying down on the bed again and turned around to avoid their so many questions. They made an agreement and she need to keep her words, even though they won't stop pestering her life.
"Stella, we both know you're a good actress and we also know you're the famous actress on our campus. So, that's no work to us."
She takes a deep breath, "Fine. I'll answer every question you wanted to ask but I'm warning you, there are limitations."
She start giggling and Stacey immediately put down the face roller she was holding because of what she said. Now Stella started regretting her words because she knew, they won't stop asking her.
"Tell us everything, Stella. On how can we get an Elton Richards?" Hazel uttered.
"Yeah, we want to know what we needed to do just to get a rich, handsome guy like yours!"
She sighed, "I did nothing, okay? We just meet at the bar then he asked me to be his girlfriend that's all."
"What? You're lying, Stella," Stacey exclaimed.
"No. That's the truth," she lied because if they find out about their agreement, it's the end of everything.
Stella trusts her friends so much, but it doesn't mean she can tell them about her stupidity so they can scold her. Having a night one stand with a guy she didn't know very well is a mistake, but accepting his offer to be his fake girlfriend is another mistake.
"I don't think you're telling us the truth," Stacey gave her a suspecting gaze.
"Are you suspecting my beauty?" She flicks her hair before crossing her legs.
"Come on, Stella. We are your friends and like you, we deserve to have a wealthy guy like him, don't you want us to be happy?" Hazel did her signature puppy eyes but it doesn't work for her.
"Guys, I want you to be happy but dating such wealthy men just to get everything you want? I don't think so. They are playboys, breaking our hearts was their goal, and I am not letting you be their victims."
"That's why we love you, Stella!" They hug her quickly and she didn't hesitate to respond to their hug.
Stacey and Hazel are identical twins, they very look alike but she knows what's the difference between the two girls. She loves them so much that's why she wouldn't let them become their victims.
Even though she becomes one of the playboy's victims.
"Okay, let's stop this drama. I need to wash my face before I get pimples, besides we have assignments to do. So?"
"Right, good night."
She remove her shoes and lay down the bed because, after that night, she need to deal with Elton's family. Stella entered this and she have to end this.

@ Richard's Mansion.
"Where did you get that woman, huh? Do you think she can save you from marrying that girl I want for you?!" Linda yelled at her son when they got home.
Elton knew his mother will nag him when they got home, and he also knew how to deal with his mom's non-stop mouth. That's why he put his earphones on just to avoid Linda.
"Hey! I'm talking to you, so face me!" She pulls her son's earphones, "When are you going to respect me, Elton?!"
He sighed in disbelief, "How can I respect you, mom? You just ignore everything I do. Everything that I think is right, is wrong with you, so I don't know where I should be, mom."
"Because you haven't done anything good for our family!" She replied emphatically.
He froze and lost his words for a moment even if he heard those words several times from his mother. Still, it's more painful than usual. Elton used to hear his mother's disappointment but it's still painful like before.
"I don't know what I've done for having a son like you, and I also don't know how you turned into someone you shouldn't have!" She added.
Linda held her head because of the frustration she received from her son, "I have plans for you. I even found a better wife for you but what have you done?! You choose that beggar instead of following my orders!"
"Enough, mom! Stella is not a beggar and I'm not marrying that woman! Why are you always making decisions for me?" He answered.
"Because I know what's best for you!"
"No. You know what's best for you not for me. That's the truth, right?"
"No!"
"It is! I never done anything good because you always see my mistakes, not the good things I have done for our family. I'm just a big failure that's how you define me."
His mother shut her mouth, and Elton gets that great opportunity to stand up for himself.
"I'm your son but I never felt that. I never felt how to be loved by my own mother because you always made me feel like I'm adopted. Tell me, mom. Am I adopted?"
He chuckled, "How I wish I am. If fate will give me chance to choose? I rather choose Kathy as my mother than you."
He turned his back and didn't intend waiting for his mom's answer. He already had enough that's why he choose to stand against her, not because he didn't respect his mother anymore but because he choose to listen from himself.
Elton become his mother's puppet since then, but now everything change.
"I'm sorry mom, but it's time for me to stand with my two feet. Without you."
