ONE DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING DAY.
Stella and Kathy were inside a shop where a lot of beautiful wedding gowns can be found. She can't believe how fast the day is because every second remaining until tomorrow move faster, which she didn't expect to be fast. She sighs at the same time flips the page of the magazine to the next page.
She scanned every expensive, beautiful gown in that magazine until she find the perfect one for her wedding. Unfortunately, she's not glad at all because tomorrow is the big day they are waiting. Becoming the playboy, arrogant's wife for 100 days. Thinking she needs to be an acting wife until he gets what he desires.
"Have you chosen your wedding gown already or still finding for the best one?" Kathy uttered and almost forgot she had company today.
The lady volunteered to come with her so she can choose a better gown for her wedding.
"Not yet. I'm still thinking about what gown suits me, you know I'm not good when it comes to dressing and fashions," she answered.
"Don't be silly, Stella. A wedding won't require anything, especially fashion if you think we are going to judge you based on your taste. I swear I have good eyes."
Stella smiled because somehow she felt more comfortable with Kathy than with Linda, and about her soon-to-be mother-in-law, she was very upset when she finds out the wedding will continue.
"Thank you for coming with me today, Kathy."
The lady held her hand, "No, thank you. I'm so glad because finally there's a girl wanted to be Elton's wife. I thought he's going to be single until age eats his time."
"Perhaps, Linda doesn't want you to be part of our family but I am."
She sniff and laughed before averting her gaze to somewhere else, "Why am I even crying?"
"Save the drama for tomorrow. For now, we're going to make you beautiful and let them gasp when they see you tomorrow."
"Alright, I'll leave everything to you."
They start scanning the magazine just to find a perfect one until their eyes landed on a beautiful gown and they both wanted to see it.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking right now? This dress is perfect!" Kathy exclaimed.
"Yes that's gorgeous but isn't it expensive? We can choose another dress at a low price?" She laughed awkwardly.
Kathy chuckled, "Come on, Stella. You are getting married once and it has to be memorable, that is every girl dream so why choose cheap if we can buy you an expensive gown?"
"Uh, to save money?"
"Look, I know what kind of family you came from, so I understand you train yourself to save money. But this is not just a simple wedding, it's about you marrying a billionaire."
Kathy show her the gown and said, "You want to impress them? Then, this is the best shot to it. From the moment you entered that door, everyone will stick their glimpse to you and no one will take it out until you reach the aisle."
Kathy's words boosted her confidence very much not because she was comfortable with her, but because she knew how to comfort an anxious woman like her.
"Do you think that gown looks good on me?" She inquired and cannot hide the fact she was nervous to wear an expensive gown.
"Of course, dear. As I've told you, I have good eyes."
Kathy looks at the sales lady, "Maria."
"Yes, ma'am?"
"Bring this gown to us because my daughter-in-law will fit it out."
Maria nodded, "Sure, ma'am. I'll prepare the fitting room for your daughter-in-law."
She pays Kathy's kindness with a smile and just need to accept her fate now. Even though she regrets letting herself into Elton's complicated life, still, Stella was delighted there is someone supporting her choices.
Perhaps, unexpected choices.
