(The Hidden Cave Entrance)
The cave was weird and creepy by it's looks. "We should stay close to each other. These cave misleds people who is alone." Simon warned. From it's spiral molds carve on its cave makes you feel dizzy. As their voice echoed bats whose sleeping there got disturb. Then Myrtle screamed in fear, that made the whole scene awkward. Like, she could fight a swimming alligators fiercely but frightened by night beast living on cave.
"Are you afraid of bats?" Aubrey curiously asked.
"Ye-yes" she muttered. But in fact she can't hide her motives, cause she always gaves glance at Zecheng who was on Aubrey's side.
"Come, hold my hands we should pair up." Aubrey offered her arms.
"It would be much better if we pair up by opposite gender. Cause when theres a trouble ahead a man is stronger face the problem" Myrtle suggested.
Aubrey who feels little shame takes her hands back.
" Who says woman can't be strong to face problem?" Aubrey murmured.
Myrtle turns herself towards Zecheng and ask him a favor, "Ze-" but before she could openly say it he already cut the request. By pulling Aubrey's back and walk ahead first. Aubrey who insist to pair with Myrtle was pushed and force to look ahead rather than to turn her back for a person whose not willing to be there partner.
In the middle of the cave they were to decide which way should they go since there were to paths. One path leads to the right location and the other is to certain death.
"Where do you think is the right path?" Myrtle asked confusedly.
"I don't knows no one has ever escape and tell the right way. I heard a lot of people says the route here are changeable everytime an intruder enters the entrance of the cave." Simon.
"Can you tell us the right road Aubrey?" Zecheng commands.
Then Aubrey sensed something about Zecheng. She was curious why everytime their is a decision to be made she would aked her. She knew it's not just about his so called caring and liking thing. She knew Zecheng must have something he doesn't want to tell her. But instead of confronting him, she was caught on the a windy and dripping sound of water on the right direction. So she pointed it out with no hesitation.
"Are you sure? Cause last time we choose right we end up in a lair of crocodiles." Myrtle opposed.
" Well I trust my friends thought." Simon supports.
"I think it's the right path cause you can hear a dripping and a spund of breeze wind." Aubrey explained.
"Then what you suggest is the final decision." Zecheng also supports Aubrey. " Where you want to go. Then go, let's not hold on others decision." he added intentionally for Myrtle.
Myrtle was a proud lady. She can't just go the way that person she doesn't like the most leads the way. So she accepted Zecheng offer. And head first, Aubrey tried to stop her but she was drag by Zecheng on the path they chose. They just take a 2 or 3 steps inside when they already heard Myrtles scream. Aubrey hurriedly let's go on Zecheng dragging hang and run towards the other direction. Then the boys hurriedly followed Aubrey not because of Myrtle's scream but because they feared they were being played by the cave. When they arrived they found Myrtle on ground holding her ankle. She seems have twisted it.
" I can't walk. I twisted my ankle." She said dramatically.
The three of them look at each other. Then Simon excuse himself she can't carry Myrtle cause his back was only preserve for her lady, Rushelle. Zecheng only gave a snob. So Aubrey offered herself to carry Myrtle. Myrtle even agreed to Aubrey's offer. Aubrey had same height with Myrtle but the difference is that she is way too thin to carry her. Zecheng seeing these difference between their body stole Myrtle and carry her in his back.
All the way Zecheng was silent and always takes a glimpse towards his lady who was happily talking to her best friend Simon. Myrtle was seizing her moment being carried by the guy she liked. And Aubrey, beyond her happy face, she was wondering inside 'did Zecheng carried me like that in the river of crocs?'.
A little farther they can already clearly hear the paradise sound of the cave. Then they hurriedly run towards it. They can see the light, Zecheng puts down the lady on her back after being amazed what's beyond the cave. They were all amazed on everything they saw aside from the auto change of outfit when they entered the beautiful paradise. They are all wearing white clothes. For males are a long pants and a collared shirt and a brown sandals. While the ladies are wearing a whole dress below the knee level and crowned with flowers with a pair of light brown sandals.
The people there are not afraid nor curious about them. Instead, they greeted them and they are polite towards them. Without further ado, they then asked the head of the town about Simon's matter. The head even was kind that he told them Rushelle was on the girl's cabin. The head of the village called out a person to bring Rushelle on them. It took hours when they were talking having their conversation about everything when Rushelle arrived. Rushelle was always pretty and has shy looks. The village really suits her personality, the warmed welcoming good heart.
After there little reunion specially, Simon. They were asked to stay their for a night and rest first before they live. They all like the idea except Zecheng. Although at first he was amazed, he was an observant person that he could tell something is wrong about the place.
It was almost midnight and everyone was requested to proceed to the cottages they are placed. Separating the boys from the girls. Before the separation of genders, Zecheng whispered to Aubrey about something he would like to say and gave something by living a curiosity request.
And these made her stay awake. The mystery Zecheng request made her turn side to side on the bed. Then out of nowhere a hand suddenly covered her mouth under her bed. When she look around it was Rushelle showing a fear and observant look in the surroundings. Aubrey was startled by her surprise approached. She rise from her bed and saw the ladies were all afraid and awake.
"What's wrong Rush?" Aubrey asked in a low tune to not awake the sleeping Myrtle besides her.
"You must leave the village. These is not a place for you to stay until morning." Rushelle said. Hearing those serious warning made Aubrey tremble in fear.
"Don't play a prank on us Rush, you know I easily get frightened with serious and scarry matter."
"I'm not playing, Brei... Because these village doesn't exist. People who stayed her until morning well never be able to return home and reality."
