Note: this is a past chapter ( not filler, it's canon), it doesn't focus on the current timeline of the story, reading this chapter won't be mandatory for the understanding of the story, but I would recommend this chapter for a more preferable experience, the choice is yours.
"I don't want any of your people to even lay a single finger onto my sister. It's not much. I'm not going to ask for money, that'll only feed the pride that's already within me", Cawii says as he starts to tear up, "just...leave Hoodo alone, I'll let her inherit all my money. She'll live on her own and no threat will approach her from your behalf".
"Of coarse, that's a small price to pay to have someone like you with us", the black-masked man says, "welcome to Wahr Die Genesis, Cawii".

Back At The Devil Hunter's Headquarters ( current timeline of the past arc )…
"You devils with your cheap tricks, nothing but cowards", Zane says.
"Those little tricks are what give you the edge, aren't they?", Belya'al says.
Suddenly, the door of the confinement room hurtles towards Belya'al, but with a swift, powerful punch, he shatters it into countless minute pieces of debris.
Who could've done this?!
"Who are you?!", Belya'al says.
A tall, built figure walks towards Belya'al, with a red scarf covering his mouth and shoulders, with his hair slicked back.
Behind him appeared the handle of a katana.
Another noticeable feature about him was that he was wearing the Devil Hunters' uniform, which instantly implied that he needed to be eliminated... at least that was Belya'al's line of thought.
"Chugi Yusha, Devil Hunter, I work under Captain Aiden's guidance", Chugi says, "I heard your 'nakama' is here too, which means our squad is in for even more excitement!".
"Have your epic entrance and your heroic moment, nothing will erase the smudge of shit your organization has put onto our society", Belya'al says.
Both Chugi and Belya'al then start to walk in a circle, eyeing one another.
"You sorry excuse of a human", Chugi says, "you're a hybrid, so why betray humanity to take part in such operations?!".
"You think questioning me will pull me away from...all this?!", Belya'al says, "I'm lost, I've put my life in the hands of a freak. I was a freak once, but him...he's beyond me. I've sworn for the elimination of all those who step in my way, and unfortunately...you happen to be one of those I must eliminate".
Chugi slowly pulls out his katana and says, "jibun no kanashimi ni dobon to shizundero yo ( just sink into your own sorrow )".
A pillar of liquid cement comes spiraling out of the wall, driving Belya'al through the walls of the building.
The liquid cement swiftly hardens, leading Belya'al to punch right through, completely decimating the cement.
As soon as the cement disappeared, there appeared a new frightening sight.
Belya'al was still falling, but Chugi was right in front of him, holding two flintlocks.
He fires both of them at Belya'al, causing some severe wounds to his side and shoulder.
Belya'al lands directly on his face.
Chugi lands on both of his feet...flawlessly.
Belya'al quickly gets back up, and just teleports to Chugi, despite him being a hybrid.
Chugi uses his flintlocks to block any potential attack, but Belya'al punches right through the flintlocks with his left arm, and uses his other fist to strike Chugi's face.
Chugi manages to swiftly put his arm up next to his head to lessen the damage.
Belya'al's strike manages to only slightly push Chugi away.
This isn't the display of power you'd expect from him.
Again...Chugi pulls out half of his katana from his metal sheath.
He then says, "anata no kodoku wa hissui-sa no nioi ga suru! (your loneliness reeks of desperation!)".
From nothing but the ground's pavement, an advancing blaze then engulfs Belya'al's entire body.
The blaze took the shape of a shark, swallowing its victim whole.
Those flames pulled him right through the ground.
Chugi puts his katana back into its sheath.
The ground then freezes, with Belya'al trapped right under that layer of ice.
"That should do it. I need to return back to the establishment, I know he's got backup with him. Those bastards might reach them before I do, but I trust you... Akimoto Hikari", Chugi says to himself.
All of a sudden though, an eerie sensation overtakes Chugi's body.
It came from within the frozen pond beneath him.
Chugi places his hand onto the handle of his katana, preparing for any potential attack from an unwanted enemy.
Like a shark roaming around a yacht.
Like a lion eyeing down a gazelle.
Like an eagle soaring through the sky.
Like a wolf prowling in the night.
Like a hawk scanning the open fields.
He knew that Belya'al hadn't died just yet.
Suddenly, a hand wraps its fingers around Chugi's right leg from under the frozen pond, pulling Chugi into the water.
It was Belya'al!
Belya'al poised to deliver a hefty kick aimed at Chugi's torso. However, with swift anticipation, Chugi skillfully unsheathes his katana, since he was prepared for this sort of outcome.
The thin top layer of ice instantly melts, and the water rises into the air, taking the form of a cube, but with Belya'al still within it.
Chugi knew that if that kick had connected, the entire fight would have ended... rather anticlimactically.
Belya'al then puts both his arms behind his back and starts punching the water rapidly, building up potential energy.
Eventually, that potential energy would then reach a great amount, which would result in Belya'al flying back out of the water.
Belya'al then punches Chugi into the air.
He follows him into the air with an extremely high jump.
It was unmistakably evident that the rigorous training regimen of the enigmatic black-masked man had undeniably manifested its true effects.
A series of punches occur following the preceding ones, which leads to them going through a random building.
It was a family's household.
They were terrified...
Belya'al held Chugi with both of hands, ready to choke him to death.
Belya'al then looks at the frightened family adjacent to him.
"Hey, stop looking at me like that", Belya'al says, "stop with those looks, I'm no monster, I'm just like you all. I'm just protecting what I love!".
Chugi pushes Belya'al away.
That minute distance is all he requires.
In a fluid motion, Chugi draws his katana, the air around him seeming to crackle with energy as a series of miniguns materialize behind him, with their barrels whirring to life before commencing an unyielding onslaught, aimed directly at Belya'al.
The bullets keep on firing, with each one driving Belya'al backwards.
Eventually, he falls off the building, through the hole that he had previously created.
The firing ends.
Chugi walks to the edge to check on Belya'al.
He's still there!
He's grabbing onto the building for dear life with his fingertips engraved into the walls.
Belya'al was about five meters away from Chugi.
"That ability of yours...it hurts", Belya'al says, "you've got some nerve to be so cunning, yet still be classified as the hero of the story. I got dragged into all of this, and now...I must face the consequences, huh?!! I am a bad person. I've killed people. No one likes the villain, and neither do I like myself too. Yet, I still hold on...".
'Celestial Resonance', an ability in which the sound waves of the user's weapon can be converted into the materialization of objects or weapons, and this ability is amplified even further whenever the sound wave reaches an even higher pitch.
That explains the severity of the last attack with Chugi pulling out his whole katana from his sheath.
If his katana clashes with another blade, this would've resulted into the materialization of Dark Matter...
"You don't have to hold on, Belya'al", Chugi says.
