Cleon still didn't understand the meaning of the blue flames escaping from the scroll he was holding, but Grandpa's expression was serious when he saw the blue flames appearing. Ava herself didn't really understand so she could only watch carefully.
"What do these blue flames mean, cake?" Cleon asked.
"In magic there are several levels that can be measured using this scroll, the lowest level will appear a red line of fire that indicates the strength of the person, the next level is line two and so on until line ten. The meaning of that one line meant that one had mastered first tier attack magic. People who reach the level of the tenth line are usually at a very high level and that is of noble or royal lineage," Grandpa explained.
"Then what about these blue flames?"
"In the history of magic people who can emit blue fire are very rare, they are special people who will bring change to this world, and you are the one who has blue fire. The level of the blue fire is far above the red flame, so you can expand your magic power to infinity. You have to practice a lot to reach that level. What element did you use?" Grandpa asked.
"I can master the four elements, but the strongest are only the elements of water and fire."
"As I thought, you can definitely master the four elements."
Cleon now understood what Grandpa meant, he remembered his purpose in coming to that world, and maybe someone had predicted his arrival. Someone who brought change to this world, somehow hearing Grandpa's words made Cleon even more excited.
"I have a request cake, make me your disciple. I want to practice martial arts."
"I'm not sure with your current physique whether you can survive the training I teach."
"Of course I can, Grandpa."
Grandpa also smiled seeing the spirit that emerged from within Cleon, he had indeed mastered holy-level attack magic but in martial arts and also Cleon's swordsmanship was still very lacking. It was a lucky day for Cleon to meet someone who taught him a lot.
Ava herself was the most surprised because she had never seen her grandfather like that to anyone else, she could accept new people with great enthusiasm.
"So when can we practice grandpa?" Cleon asked excitedly.
"Go home first, tell your parents that you are going to practice and won't be home for a few days, don't worry your parents. Tomorrow come back here and get ready to start."
"Okay, I understand."
Cleon was very happy to say goodbye to go home, he couldn't wait what kind of training he would get later. What's more about the blue fire that Grandpa said, somehow made him excited and firmly believed that his goal of coming to this world would be successful
"What made Grandpa accept Cleon?" Ava asked after Cleon left her house.
"Since her arrival here I've seen something different from inside Cleon, this is the first time I've seen her in decades. Don't let someone like him be misguided, for some reason Grandpa feels called to guide him to the right path," Grandpa answered with great confidence.
"Do you think Grandpa Cleon can grow up to be a dangerous person?"
"Of course if he gets into the vicious circle he will become a very dangerous person, he can destroy this kingdom in an instant. Luckily now he is still innocent, we can still guide him well. Lately, there have been many strange events in the eastern forest, I don't know what will happen Grandpa himself doesn't know. Ava prepare yourself too, tomorrow you will train with Cleon, the training this time will be much harder than what Grandpa taught you."
"Okay grandpa, I understand."
**
The night had passed, Cleon had said goodbye to Dante and Emily. The two of them allowed Cleon to train to become stronger, instead they became proud of Cleon because he had grown so well. Cleon excitedly headed straight for Ava's house, along the way many residents greeted her when passing by. It made him think about how later if the prince destroys this country, maybe Cleon can't see the cheerful faces of the residents.
Cleon had arrived at Ava's house, he was greeted by Grandpa and Ava with a smile full of enthusiasm.
"How?" Grandpa asked.
"I'm ready!" answered Cleon excitedly.
"Alright then, the first practice is very simple. You see that river down there? Use these two barrels to get some water, then put it in the big barrel there until it's full. After the barrel is full, you will continue with the next exercise. Remember never to use your magic."
"Okay grandpa!!"
Cleon excitedly took the two barrels that had been provided, he ran down to the river that Grandpa had pointed out earlier. There's only one way to get there but it's a detour and very far, Cleon prefers to make a pretty steep shortcut. He ran while looking at the scenery he passed, it only took him a few minutes to get to the river.
Cleon immediately filled the two barrels he was carrying and ran back upstairs, but this time it was his challenge. He had to climb the steep road he had passed before carrying two barrels full of water.
In just one jump the barrel will sway and the water will come out, but Cleon doesn't seem to care about that, he keeps running and climbing to get to Ava's house.
"Is this practice necessary, Grandpa?" Ava asked while looking at Cleon who was going upstairs.
"Of course, look at him growing up as a spoiled child. His body had to be trained to be able to withstand the brunt of the attacks he would use later. Martial arts, swordsmanship and magic are an excellent combination. Most people depend on their ability to use magic so that they forget the basic thing, which is training their physique. This is the first step for him."
"I see, but why did Grandpa suddenly also ask me to train with him?"
"You would be a good partner with him, for now your martial arts are good enough but not with your magic."
"Wasn't it grandpa himself who said there was no need to learn magic? Why are you saying that now?"
"No, no. Hahahaha…"
"Grandpa is getting weird."
The two of them stood casually while looking at Cleon who was trying to fetch water from the river. Cleon looks still enthusiastic in doing the initial training.
