I tested "fuinjutsu: gravity seal" on myself to determine if the jutsu worked as intended. But after testing I found some problems; continuous use for longer periods will deteriorate the performance of jutsu drastically. I think it would be useful for one-time use.
After analyzing, I came up with some ideas to simplify and improve the performance of the jutsu. My conclusion is that the effect will be similar to adding weight to the limbs while exercising. Additionally, four sub-seals were developed to produce the same effects and can adjust the weight independently.
The four sub-seals were part of one primary seal which is placed in the center of the body. The main seal gives the effect of added weight to the body as though it were constantly on top of the user. It also consumes the chakra at a steady rate without draining the chakra and straining the body. The user's chakra consumption is also limited to a certain level in order not to overdraw his chakra.
After presenting my ideas to elders, they praised me and also dismissed my idea as not very practical. I thought for some time during the process, "maybe I wasted my precious time on this." Maybe I would have gained much knowledge if I focused on learning and analyzing more jutsu."
I am depressed. Ashina-san looked at my depression and said, "Don't be depressed boy, not many people can do what you have done. Learning is a never-ending process and it is not bounded by results. Don't stop yet, keep walking and exploring, you will find endless possibilities and this is what Akira-sama is trying to tell us. The fuinjutsu has endless possibilities; it is up to the user to explore them."
Yes, I'm surprised even though the usage of this jutsu is limited. But still, I learned many new things. For the past few days, I learned many new things which were not in books, at least in the books I read. This is not the time for depression, but to clear all my doubts.'
Over the next few days, I read as many books as possible and made notes on them for future reference. Soon the two-week classes were over and the ceremony day for Mitsuru-san to become the new patriarch of the Uzumaki clan also neared.
On a ceremonial day, Mitsuru Uzumaki becomes the new patriarch. The festival started in the Uzumaki clan and continued until late at night. Grandma Mito, Tsunade, Kiyoshi-san, Fumika-san, and I rested early since our return journey begins early tomorrow morning.
The next day, everyone gathered at the main gate of Uzushigakure to send us off. Just as we were about to leave, our steps were stopped by a man shouting, "WAIT…"
We stopped and turned back to see who it was. A middle-aged man holding an eight-year-old girl emerged from the crowd. He looked at us and slowly put her on two feet. I looked at her carefully to see if I remembered her. I never met her during our stay here.
She had a bandage around her neck, and I remembered saving an eight-year-old girl we saved from Kiri ninjas shortly after we arrived. It seems she is cured. When we rescued her, she was injured badly and her vocal cords were damaged.
She came to us and looked at me and Tsunade a couple of times. Then she lifted her right index finger. After ten seconds the index fingertip started to glow white. She surprised us with what she did. She moved her glowing fingertip in the air and several characters appeared in the air.
"[Thank you for saving me]"
This shocked me to the core and out of desperation, I looked at Tsunade. After I recovered from my shock, I noticed that Tsunade was also shocked as her jaw was opened wide enough to easily place a chick egg in her mouth.
The Uzumaki girl seems confused because of our shocked expressions and lack of response. The sentence she wrote in mid-air disappeared slowly after a minute. My understanding is that something amazing has happened, but I do not understand how it happened. After that, I nudged Tsunade to wake her up.
Then she continued, "[Be safe on your journey.]"
This time I replied, "Don't worry, we will be safe. You take care of your health. Then see you!"
Tsunade, "yes… yes… after you are cured completely. Become strong enough to kick their asses, okay?"
She smiled, "[okay sister, after I become strong enough I will repay you both.]" then she bowed.
We finally left Uzushigakure and continued our return journey back to Konoha. On the way, I am thinking about how this technique works. But after thinking for some time, it occurred to me as though it may be a light-based technique that doesn't require any complicated hand seals or it may be similar to engraving jutsu, how Jiraya wrote his dying message on the back of Fukasaku.
After three days of travel through land and sea, we landed in the Land of Fire, where a horse carriage is waiting for us. I feel assured and at ease when I smell the motherland's air. After taking a few large breaths my fatigue due to the long journey is relieved and I am feeling energetic.
After taking an hour's break at the beach we resumed our journey to Konoha. On the second day while traveling through the forest a faint cry of a newborn was heard. A black puppy appeared to have been left here by its mother.
Grandma Mito looking at the baby, "it is an Alsatian Alsatian Wolf Dog species. They were very difficult to raise as babies but if natured well they would be great companions. A well-natured wolf-dog can become a loyal nin-dog. If you want you can nature it; if not, give it to the Inazuka clan."
I looked at the baby wolf dog sleeping in Tsunade's bosom and looked at Tsunade's happy face, "we will raise it together grandma."
Tsunade is also happy and nodded at grandma Mito several times. Grandma Mito chuckled as we continued our journey. After the half-day trip, we reached Konoha's main gate.
Kiyoshi-san and Fumika-san were left to report the mission status to Hokage when we returned home. I tagged along with grandma and Tsunade to their house and then returned to my home. Since it was afternoon, mother headed to work. Hana must be at the academy, while Matsuda and Misaki were probably at aunty's house, which is two blocks away. That is what I expected
I opened the door and came to the main hall leaving my shoes at the door. Surprisingly mother and Hana were cooking at home and Matsuda and Misaki were playing. Mother looked at me as I entered the hall and was surprised, as was everyone else.
It seems Hokage informed my mother that we are returning today. So, everyone stayed at home waiting for me. I am truly happy and thankful to Hokage. It seemed like the day passed in a blink of an eye as I spent time with everyone.
The next day I went to meet my teacher. I informed him of mission details including my observations and opinions.
"Good, take three days off and get your body in the right state to start intense training. You can leave now."
"Yes teacher, where were Daiki and Inabi?"
"They were on their missions. You can meet them after three days during training."
After nodding and retiring for the day, I decided to go home. On my way home I saw three kids around five years old playing on the ground. I looked around to see if anyone was there, but no one was there. Children of their age can freely play on the grounds and these grounds are for children to play. But parents or guardians must be with children for safety purposes.
Since the adults were not here at this moment, I decided to stay until their parents came to pick them up. So, I walked near them without disturbing them and found a comfortable place to monitor them. I took out a scroll to read and while I was reading it, I also kept an eye on them.
Soon three hours had passed and it was lunchtime. Children were playing, but their parents were nowhere to be seen. There is nothing I can do about their parents, so I decided to talk to the kids about their parents and why they are still playing.
"Hai, kids" I greeted them.
They were shocked by my sudden presence. Looking at me their eyes trembled and they moved away from me at once. I can see their fear.
I smiled sweetly and tried my best not to be tense. "Don't worry kids I am not a bad guy. "I only want to talk with you," I said, and stepped closer to them.
Upon closer examination, one of them is a girl and the other two are boys. The boys hugged the girl tightly and she bravely hugged them and looked at me. Despite acting brave, she was tainted by her fear, as she was betrayed by her eyes.
The next five minutes were spent trying to calm them but to no avail. I looked around to see if I could find their parents, but none were found. I moved closer to them since they were behaving abnormally for their age. My mind is telling me they were bearing mental scars, but my heart is trying to convince me that is not possible.
As I approached them, they glanced at each other and began running in different directions. As I watch them run away individually, I can only sigh in amazement at their attempt to escape from me. Even if one is caught, the other two escape. It works for normal people, but for me, it won't work.
"Shadow clone jutsu"
Two clones formed beside me and looked toward me. I nodded at them and we ran behind each other. After two minutes we gathered at the same spot with kids who were trying everything to escape from my hand.
Looking at them I shouted, "heyy…!"
Then they stopped struggling and looked at me and were confused by finding three copies of me. Finally calmed down after a minute and it seems the boys were listening to a girl, while the girl was calm and observant.
They settled on a bench and we three standing in front of them, "now tell me, why are you here, and why are you running away."
Seeing my serious face, the boys hid their faces behind the girl while their bodies trembled. The girl looks at me seriously, "who are you? Why did you capture us?"
Even though she talks bravely, I can see her body trembling. As I examine them, I can only sigh, since it appears not to be a small issue. Since asking nicely and threatening did not work, I can only surrender.
"ok… ok… I am Hirata Senju, a chunin. Now can we talk?"
The girl relaxed, "Sir, I am Asmya, an orphan. We came to play here." And she convinced two other children as well.
One boy said, "Sir, I am Riku, an orphan"
Another boy followed him, "sir, I am Ichiro, an orphan also"
As expected this is a troubling matter. "Ok, can you tell me why three orphan kids were playing here without your guardian?"
Asmya hesitated for a moment, "sir, we aren't allowed to play sir. So, we sneaked out. If our orphanage head knows that we are sneaking out, he will beat us."
"hoo… now you sneaked out won't your orphanage head don't know?"
She shook her head, "No sir. In the evening all children were allowed to play. At that time we will sneak in. So we won't be caught."
I am surprised, "what will you do for lunch?"
She doesn't have an answer. It seems it s the first time they sneaked out.
"Fine tell me, won't they know if you don't show up for lunch?"
She shook her head, "they won't check if we eat or not, and if we ask for more they will scold us."
Now I am shocked. An orphanage that doesn't care about children. It seems they were enjoying their privileges very well.
"Why don't you come with me? We will go and see grandpa who will give you food."
Now three kids' eyes twinkled as they heard food. Their rumbling can be heard for quite some time. They will usually not be able to tolerate it hungrily at their age. However, they have been holding on to their hunger for quite some time. It seems I have to discuss this with Hokage-sama.
