"Back already?"
"Dammit, why did I jump into action like that?" I ask the void,
"What do you expect, your powers don't come with any extra strength, the fact that you thought you could win against a Fenrir is hilarious." The Buddha responds,
I sit and ponder on my choices for a while before entertaining her comment, "Why would The Buddha create such a deadly world?"
"Can you stop it with the Buddha talk, my name is Siddhartha, just call me Sid since you are doing me a favor by saving my creation." She blurts out, "I created the world and the laws of the world, but those beasts were not part of my plan. They evolved on their own to be like that." She continues.
"Well, maybe you should exercise a little more control over your creation. Anyway, did those people make it out okay?" I reply,
"They survived that encounter but the man later passes from an infection." She sighs,
The rush of actually saving someone fills my soul, I actually did something that mattered. Now I have only one more question,
"What did I receive from my ability?" I inquire,
Sid looks excited, "Since you actually managed to save those people's lives, your power has granted you their abilities, you have received [Greater Mana Manipulation] and [Greater Wind Magic]. These skills are powerful in their own right, but if you learn how to use them in conjunction with one another, you can master all forms of wind magic. But that is only after you master each individual skill. To make tracking your progress a bit easier I give you access to the skill tree. Just think of the words skill tree and you will see your stats." Sid concludes, "Now off you go, don't die so early this time!"
I wake up below the same tree again, but this time I get up straight away and begin practicing my new skills.
