As Alexander leaped backwards, he remembered the information he read about demons years ago.
It was stated there that demons have different elements like fairies do but unlike fairies, elements that are acquired by demons through birth tend to be more destructive due to the influence of demonic energy. And the reason why Alexander leaped backwards is that when a demon die they can choose to self destruct by igniting the demonic energy stored inside their bodies.
However there is a huge downside to this which is that if demons ever choose to self destruct, parts of their soul will crumble which in turn causes them to lose some memories and be weaker when their soul reincarnates again to the demon realm due to the rules of reincarnation, their families will also be executed with some being turned to slaves as self destructing is seen as cowardice within the demons who are prideful a prideful race.
"Looks like reading in the library sometimes comes with its benefits." Alexander said as he clutches his face feeling his blood dripping.
After drinking a 5 star health potion given to him by Anna, Alexander's wounds started to close up quickly but the scar given to him by the demon stayed giving his already intimidating face more intimidating.
"Tsk! It must be due to the demonic energy that demon inflicted on your face honey." Anna said worriedly.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! Don't worry honey to me this is just a scratch." Alexander laughed however his laugh was short lived as it came to a halt when Anna pinched his arms clearly annoyed by Alexander's nonchalance.
"Let's focus on how to deal with this demon portal first." Anna said seeing Alexander okay as she orders the elite shamanist under her to surround the demon portal.
Looking at the large door-like structure and its black and red designs, Alexander's eyes showed annoyance as he knows sealing or destroying a demon portal is not gonna be easy.
"Hmmm why do i have a bad feeling about this." Alexander muttered under his breath with a worried expression as there is just something about this demon portal that's different from the previous ones he has seen.
Seeing Alexander's worried expression, Anna ordered the elite shamanists to halt their spell.
"You too think that this demon portal is different from the ones we have seen right?" Anna said as Alexander nodded helplessly.
"I don't know why but it's giving me a bad feeling, the intricate designs and black color of the portal is different from those red ones we saw 100 years ago." Alexander uttered worriedly, his instincts telling him that this demon portal is dangerous.
"I suggest we mark this area and retreat to report this to the barbarian elders or the king himself." Anna suggested, "But the decision is yours to decide honey." Anna looks at Alexander and holds his hands tightly.
Feeling Anna's hand on his, Alexander smiles and orders his army to retreat while Anna marks the area with curses.

As Alexander and Anna departed to the core area of the barbarian realm, Alex meanwhile just continued to hunt for food to satisfy his hunger using the knowledge his father taught him.
After eating a normal boar that he hunted, Alex burped satisfied and laid on a makeshift rock bed that he made using his mana manipulation.
Laying at his makeshift bed and admiring at the stars and other cosmic bodies scattered throughout the cosmos, Alex smiled and thanked the old man in his mind for if not for the old man, he would not be in this place right now with a second chance at life.
"This world is really beautiful Sana." Alex said.

After a while of just admiring the scenery, Alex dozed off evidently tired from his training.
Morning came as the two suns in the sky rises.
"Good morning Sana." Alex greeted.
{Good morning too host}
"Ah right! I still don't have a weapon don't i?" Alexander said after bathing in a nearby lake.
"And i don't know what weapon fits for me best too considering my previous life." Alex pondered for a while yet to no avail as he really has no experience over weapons.

"Oh so now with this my options just expanded huh?" Alex said in delight as now he doesn't have to worry about what weapons to choose anymore.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! This is just wonderful." Alex laughed arrogantly seeing that he didn't have to do anything to get this talent, "This must be what those system protagonists feel huh?"
Seeing her host's ego get inflated, Sana warned, {Host you still have to work hard if you want to be truly powerful, what the system gives you is just the road, it still depends on you if you want to walk it or not}
"I know Sana." Alex said solemnly but not really putting importance to it.
{As long as you know host} Sana sighed in relief as at least Alex is not unredeemable.
Now let's return to acquire all sorts of weapon and come back here to train again.
