Situ's figure was moving down the mountain. He had many places to test his strength, but he chose the location where he once obtained the spear. He was curious about what existed in that place that he had overlooked back then, more importantly, he was not done with this attempt to use nature as the source of inspiration for the Five Animal Boxing.
He was not foolish and realized already that his next practice would involve nature and he was going to do everything possible to take that step. He just didn't feel safe, and this was the reason he was so bent on traveling around. Along the way, perhaps he might also meet a few opponents who could help him hone his skills.
