Chapter 4 - Mysterious parents

In some isolated village, Situ was still wondering what had just happened, and looking at the maid still moving things from the carriage, he was puzzled.

Did he just see his parents abandon him in this isolated village, and it seemed like they had bribed someone for that to happen?

As for the other children the same age, it seemed they also were taken away but their parents did not seem to escort them at all.

Even with the knowledge from his previous life, he seemed in a daze and looked at the necklace that his parents had left him, before throwing everything out of his mind.

This necklace seemed more important seeing how they were looking at it, and thus he kept in hidden under his clothes.

Something was very wrong, he had seen some huge tiger-like creature in the bushes they passed before arriving close to this temple.

He was sure that such a creature would overwhelm him, without much struggle, and yet his parents did not even mention it, so there might be other even more serious dangers present in this place.

After calming down, he was lost in thought, as to why his parents would go as far as to bribe someone to bring him to this place themselves, but he realized that they were not the only ones.

In that case, his parents probably did not have to tell him the reason, and his eyes shifted to the decapitated temple above the stone steps.

Looking around, nothing stood out as compared to the temple and he decided to head up, before turning towards the carriage, "Xiaohe! Stop that for now. It is not like we have some important things on there that someone can steal. Let's see the situation in the temple."

"But young master, all the things we were given by your parents are on this carriage." Listening to the rumblings of his maid, he did not bother with her but took a step ahead.

This maid was crying secretly all the time when they were coming to this side since he would not be capable of seeing her crush. But that teenager just like him seemed to have also received this kind of treatment.

In fact, it was only at this moment that some doubts that Situ had seemed to be answered slightly. Since he was born, he never met anyone older than him by about five years, an indication that something might be wrong, but the actions of all the people in town gave him some hint.

The look on the parents in the town that could not manage to escort their kids further was also seen by him. The unwillingness deep in their eyes was indeed easy for him to catch on to, and as such he was sure this was not something good, or easy for all those involved.

As he approached the temple, back in some distance two figures were hidden and observing and if Situ could see them he could be shocked as they were his parents and his mom, who had some relief but sadness at the same time.

"Madam! Our son is intelligent and will survive in this harsh environment and get the chance to get out." Fengxian was trying to console her, but in truth, he was consoling himself.

In their married life, they only had one child and did not seem to be planning to have another, or it was almost impossible for them to be willing to let another of their child take risks. In that case, they cared so much about the only one they had, but the situation did not allow them to even lift their hands, or they might even endanger him.

"It's time to go. We should give our child the time required to grow." Speaking of this, even the voice of Fengxian's wife seemed to have changed.

It had become cold and indifferent but one could feel some killing intent behind the words.

This development was abnormal and if Situ saw it, he would only be confused.

A black sedan chair seemed to manifest before the couple and they entered it, at that moment their entire demeanor changed.

Especially Situ's mother produced an extremely cold temperament, while the old man seemed to have an edge of a sharp sword.

But this was not the only thing that had changed, their eyes seemed unique from all the mortals in this place.

"Boom!" The moment, the sedan chair disappeared, a small explosion seemed to have taken place and this shook the entire world.

In the same way, space that collapsed near the sedan repaired itself and this shaking of the world seemed to have alerted some other stronger creatures, but no one was willing to attempt investigating, but that was not all, several other situations seemed to follow suit.

In deep space, lights could be seen shooting off into the distance, distorting space, and after the couple walked out into boundless space, the sedan chair disintegrated and no one paid any attention.

But a huge voice could be heard, "Wudi Qinqyuan!" It reverberated throughout the entire space.

Then a sword cry echoed from all directions before another streamer shot towards Fengxian and his entire demeanor seemed to be changing completely.

With a swipe of the sword, the space before him was sliced into two, and a group that was fighting in the void seemed to stop at the moment.

"Junior you are too arrogant!" Another angry voice could be heard, where the attack was aimed and those on the battlefield could see a huge creature.

Opening its eyes alone seemed to cover several hundred thousand kilometers, making those with weak will kneel in the void.

Mu Chenchen, was Situ's mom and her entire demeanor seemed to be completely different from the old man, as she took a step forward space was frozen.

With the two standing side by side, they gave off an invincible posture. Indeed the couple seemed to have some identity, but could not bring their child back due to some reason.

Mu Chenchen did not even care about the huge eyes in the sky, she looked at it indifferently, and her cold eyes seemed to have no emotion.

No one can understand how angry she was and even so she could only take advantage of some rules to protect her own child, rather not see him growing up and these creatures were responsible for all this.

She pushed her palm forward and as far as the eye could see frost was gathering. On her opposite, the sword's intent seemed to be making space itself shake as the sword was unsheathed and the echo produced by the actions made everyone else in the void cough out blood.
