(The man's/third person pov)
His life was a dull monotonous and meaningless existence.
His parents were alive and healthy- but they had never had a particularly close relationship.
All his friends were little more than meaningless acquaintanceships.
He had been in a few relationships- but nothing that got his heart pounding and his palms sweaty.
He has a cushy job working in a tech company that produces top quality video games. It was a job he use to invest most of his passion into
The money was good enough to live off of and to live quite comfortably at that.
And yet… nothing would change the fact he's lost his will to live. There had been no specific turning point or reason. He just couldn't find the motivation to keep going anymore.
What was the reason for his existence- did it even matter if he existed? Everything was just so… boring now.
Suicide. Would it be worth it? It was a thought that often went through his head.
It never did reach the point of action.
His days were spent drifting through life, a feeling, not quite fear, was the only thing holding him back from death.
He knew, deep down, that eventually something had to give… as it is, it's really only a matter of when it'll happen and the fianl straw that will finally… snap.

Perhaps the first thing you thought of was suicide. But is it really so easy to kill one's self?
In this world, is there such a guarantee that death will solve the problems you have now?

Though on the flip side, there is just as much of a possibility it will only get better.
Truly. Death and Life are the greatest unknowns. Two sides of the same coin. Little known about either-both.

[ Now here's the question.
Are you a gambling man? ]
